They said on TV she was 71 and suffering from Leukemia. I had no idea she was sick.
Beautiful. It looks way better than it did in Winter when I was there. LOL Have a great time there, Tina.
I didn't even have any idea what corduroy means, so he's responsible for my new English word for today. lol
The picture is really great. I hope there will be a chance to see the movie somehow, once it's finished.
I hope there will be more.
Thats great Anne those actors are hot!! Next you will be meeting Stephen Moyer!!
Oh I wish! LOL
Hey guys, I'm back from BloodyCon, the Vampire Diaries convention I attended last weekend. Please forgive me if I didn't tell you I was going there, I've been soooo busy before taking off, I might have forgotten about it, but those who are linked to my FB page have probably seen it anyway.
I had a BLAST!!! It was an awesome experience! I hugged Paul Wesley! Can you believe that?
The pictures I took from the panels are not that good, I was too far away from the stage this time. But here are my photoshoot pictures.
Zach Roerig (Matt Donovan)
Paul Wesley (Stefan Salvatore) I hugged him, I hugged him! LOL
Zach Roerig again. (My friend and I wanted to take a picture with him together but shortly before our turn we decided against it.)
The picture millions of girls will envy me for - Ian Somerhalder (Damon Salvatore). I look so pregnant in that shot. LOL
On Sunday I went to the autograph session and I had the most awesome experience talking to Paul. I had bought this "I <3 Stefan" button from a charity auction there and had put it on my shirt. He noticed it and said "You have an I <3 Stefan button there." Me: "Yeah." Him: "Are you gonna change it to Damon now?" since I was going to get an autograph from Ian, too. Me: "No, I'm Team Stefan all the way." Which is true, BTW.
Him: "Aw, thank you." He smiled. Then, when I already was two steps away, I turned my head and added "And Team Paul, too." Which is also true, lol. And then he smiled at me again and thanked me again! I so wished I could have photographed it. People were complaining a lot that he didn't smile in the photosession the day before, but I was just happy I got to hug him. LOL
In his panel later he said he'd try to smile more in his second photoshoot, which would be later on the same day and since the thing with the button happened I decided that I just had to go to that shoot, too, and that's what I did.
Well, he still doesn't look that much different from the other picture, but I still love it. I just wasn't brave enough to hug him again. Oh well.
The thing is, I really wanted to tell him that I knew him before TVD already from The Russel Girl and some other stuff, but the time was never right and I didn't really want to do it in one of the panels, partly because I thought that I was the only person in the whole room to know that movie and partly because I just can't stand hearing my own voice from a microphone and there were, like, 5000 people with me in the room ... *shudder* But I did take one of our pictures with Amber with me and I would have showed it to him if there had been a chance. Maybe next time.
Another funny thing I noticed: Hollywood IS a really small world.
Did you know Paul is married to Torrey DeVitto? She is in The Rite with Chris. I thought that was so funny since Amber was in The Russel Girl with Paul. But it goes even further. Chris was in The Double with Stephen Moyer and Torrey is in Evidence, which also features Stephen Moyer (the movie isn't out yet, though). And of course we know Amber and Chris were in JoA together. And the most awesome thing? I've already met three of those five people.
So, yeah, BloodyCon was bloody awesome.
PS: Ian called me darling at the autograph session, that was awesome, too.
Aaawww! Love it! It's great to see Chris's smile!
NOOOOO! I want the B/W pic again!
thanks for updating the software, it's great to have the smilies back and I also see some text edit functions I didn't see here before.
This isn't random but ... Kathryn Joosten (Old Lady God) died yesterday. I am sad. I didn't even know she had lung cancer.

Watching True Blood is definitely better that reading the books, haha. But with Game of Thrones, both is awesome. I'm on the second book now and Season 2 is about to finish, so I'll have enough time to catch up until Season 3 starts. Already looking forward to that. Book 2 will be hard though, since there is not much Jaime there.
My brother watched that movie recently and said Chris's character was dumb. Well, I still haven't seen it, so I can't judge but I doubt he'll ever be a dumb character!
New Orleans is one place I definitely want to visit sometime. Also, I've gotten interested in Denmark and Kopenhagen lately. Maybe, if I'll have a new job soon, this is were I'm gonna spend my next vacation.
Really why? I like them. I got them way cheap and can resale later for some good money.
I read the first Hunger Games, not reading the sequels. Very messed up book. At least now I know for sure.
Well, I guess Charlaine Harris's writing style and my taste just don't like each other. I tried reading the first book but I had to give up after not even two pages. And that never happened before.
Is this proof enough

It feels good to be back here after one week of vacation in Italy and one week of the most intensive reading ever. Phoo.
Ugh, the Sookie Stackhouse novels are about the WORST writing I have ever set my eyes on. You know I love the TV show they made of them, but I hate the books!!! And I won't EVER read The Hunger Games. Ugh.
I've become addicted with the Game of Thrones books instead, GRRM is a genius! His writing is awesome, I can't wait to finish the first book finally. Last week I've done almost nothing else except reading. I just couldn't stop!
Wow, I missed that, thanks for posting it here!
I'm so much in love with GoT at the moment, I hardly watch anything else. I also started reading the books last week, and well, I am in looooove! I'm even more obsessed with those books than I was with the Twilight ones. LOL
That photo is one gorgeous one, wow.
Wow, finally something new to watch! How have I missed this! Thanks, Tina!
Something else: The guy who dubbed Chris in JoA is coming to BloodyCon since he's also Ian Somerhalder's dubbing voice. God, can you imagine Adam, Damon and Boone all having the same voice? I can't.
I'm tempted to ask him about JoA, but it's kinda pointless. But it's still funny that I'm going to see him, thought I'd share it here.
Hahaha, just read that on Mary's Twitter:
