I just read the piece.  What a nice guy he was.

That whole thing was so senseless.  It's become all too common, but it always gives me such a chill when I watch the news and see police and social workers carrying children out of a house with blankets over their heads so that they don't take pictures of them.  I'm glad that these children have, for the most part, been left alone and have (hopefully) had as normal a life as possible.

It should be out on DVD!  I'm not a big "true crime" person, but that movie and "The Legend of Lizzie Borden" with Elizabeth Montgomery were both outstanding.  Especially "The Murder of Mary Phagen".
