Ooo, you've seen it, Brenna! I'm glad you enjoyed it as well

One of my favorite scenes, haha... and my maturity shines..
EDIT: Btw, this user actually put up the whole movie: http://youtube.com/profile_videos?user=hp701&p=r
But this user has it louder and less restrictions (UK version): http://youtube.com/watch?v=FiOqdn1no3k
Brenna! What else is your favorite scene, besides the ending of "Vanity, Thy Name is Human"?
Ooo, I wanna see!!! C'mon TeeJay! Post them.
I just love all of them.
Adam's angry!
Excited!
When I said "coupling," I meant coupling again in a role. But I do like/dislike the idea of them getting together in real life. Of course he's with Diane, so it doesn't really matter.
I think maybe she's a little too wild and intense for him.
You know, I got that vibe looking at some of her video clips on myspace; It's always the ones that look innocent.
Uh-oh. I lost my mojo because I got distracted... but anyway, my other favorite episode, "Book of Questions"---
I liked the look Adam (cough, cough) gave Joan when she said Grace is having the food catered simply because I think he was smirking as Chris, not Adam ;P Ooohhlalalla.
Him wanting to know about death and if God told her about it. It was nice the writers mentioned his mom, even if it wasn't obvious and direct.
The stencil, Warhol-esque piece he made of Judith. It really affected me when Joan asked why would she ever want to think about that night ever again. It was kind of a slap in the face and I'm not even Adam. I understand that Judith's death is heavily weighted, but she shouldn't forget the special date/night Adam gave her as well.
And here, he reminded me of Matthew Lewis AKA Neville from Harry Potter. Hahaha.
Honestly, I just loved this scene because she was finally honest with him and expressed her fears..
You should! She should! Hmmm, that would be a neat idea. You guys should make a Dorquette shirt. I'd buy one... As long as it has his face some way since I'm not a fan of buying basic tees.
Would it be iron-pressed or made by hand?
Hi Newt! That's such a cool name. Please do post often. In fact, I think you should beat this girl's record and post 200 posts by tonight or tomorrow. No hurries.
Awesome. Why don't you make a shirt that says Marquette? I'm planning to make a Chris shirt- well, with his face on it and probably an Adam quote, so basically I'll be making an Adam Rove shirt, haha.
I just need a good pic to stencil it like I did with Natalie Portman.
Not a lot of folks can tell that's her though ;/
And this is what I meant by writing it:
Fabric markers are my friend.
Ohh, it also played on Valentine's Day on Starz channel ;/ I would have mentioned it on here if I knew someone was actually interested in the film.. It's really lame how they had to change/dub the curse words for us Americans since we're innocent and all.
It's such a catch-22; you really want them together but then you don't- at least that's how it is for me. I would LOVE it if they matched up together in a flick. As much as I like the idea of them coupling, I doubt that would happen though.
Hahaha, thanks. I feel weird that I keep posting my favorites, so post more of yours as well! Don't forget lots and lots of pictures. I'm just a visual learner.. *shrugs*
Gah, I agree about the hair in QOTZ. Scrumptious much?
The pics/show make me a tad envious of Amber because of the obvious, but not angry.. *shrugs*
I will! Teejay already posted a favorite scene/pic of mines in the "Indelible Adam & Joan Images" thread from "Queen of Zombies" where Joan and Adam Eskimo kissed, so I guess there's no need to repost that.
Sorry Adam, the shirt isn't so hot.
But seriously though! "Do the Math"-- another episode with many favorite, subtle scenes:
The gentle conflict when Joan came over to listen to her tutor's record with Adam and he was debating to zip, or unzip, and then zipping the ugly blue shirt Iris gave him.. ;D
Their conversation and indirect promise to never lie to each other's face.
Kiss already! But nope. Dang Iris!
Then...
*cue "Collide"*
Of course, instant classic. What did it for me was when he said, "I was just scared, Jane- got kind of hurt before and I thought- about you... and being scared didn't matter that much."
Add more, Mel!!
Aww, I know. I just love the two! I could just go on and on with my favorite scenes.
You should! A lot of people thought I was looking too much into the movie when I compared something to someone, so if you ever get a chance to watch it, tell me what you think and if you thought the same ;]
Hahhaah, too cute! Does it come in any other color?
I also really liked the scenes (yeah, it's impossible to just pick a scene in one episode) in "The Boat" where Joan lost her boat mojo and Adam was telling her the story where he told Mr. Price he could play all the instruments but then now he can't and can't "even whistle", haha. While that's great, this is my favorite:
When he told Joan her boat's beautiful and glanced at her .. Ahhhh, too cute.
And then of course, I loved the ending scene.
Oh, how I really, really wanted Joan to tell him her secret. And then I lost it when God expressed to her that she needs to share his burden ;(
Too bad they didn't show that umbilical cord scene in "Huff" ;/ Even if it was short. Darn it.
Mel, you should post your favorite scene since I don't think I even read/know yours.
AHHH! Thanks to y'all, everytime I see Adam point his finger, I have to say, "MR. POINTY!" That was when I knew I' had been on the boards for too long, despite me still being a newbie, haha.
I thought it was a superb movie. Maybe I am a tad biased because of Rupert flippin' Grint, but there were so many great roles and Laura was superb in it as well (minus her American accent coming out at times). I thought Nicholas Farrell, who plays the father, was especially grand. I think he may have been overlooked because of his subtle role. Really though, all of the characters and their stories were heart-wrenching in their own ways.
Yeah, but of course, with Pete, he was in his little situation due to his own doing whereas with Keith, he didn't have control over what would have happened. The two would definitely not have gotten along, haha. That would be an interesting mix now that I think about it..
I feel bad- I haven't seen most of the characters he portrayed on TV shows except for the vidclips on this website, of course. But I agree, he is a chameleon and there is nothing he can't do. However, I'd still like him to play a really dark psychopath one day.
Another favorite scene of mines that tickle me greatly still to this day, same episode ("Romancing the Joan"):
When Adam asks Grace doesn't she have an appointment in the biology closet, HAHAHHAHA!!
And then the whole:
Stevie: Plus, I get two whole art credits for hanging around and watching him be a genius.
Joan: Awww, I do that for free.
--
Adam: Jane, c'mon. You aren't seriously jealous.
Joan: No.. she's so perky.
Adam: I hate perky; this you know.
;D
