I can't believe you finally saw Fanboys, Deb. You don't even know how lucky you are! I want to see it sooo bad!!

Yeah, they were great pics. I didn't even notice the chest hair until the second time I looked. lol So weird seeing it on some guy I'm used to seeing as a young boy. Especially since my 28 year old common law huband doesn't have any! He's as hairy as an egg... Anyone know what the deal is with Chris? wink

I'm so amazed you the girls saw Fanboys already. Lucky girls indeed. I can't wait for it! big_smile The trailer looks so great.

#1729 Re: All About Chris » If Chris Could Play Any Role... » 03 Oct 08 :: 21:21

Sorry peops, this was such a long thread I didn't read every post... So I don't know if any of these were already here...

1)

I just wrote this on Imdb at Chris' board under the newest "reminds of"-thread.. Somehow I often get this idea watching him acting.. He'd make a great young version of Adam Sandler. Something about his headshape or something. To me it's so obvious. I'm really sorry if I'm making someone go nuts over mentioning another "reminds of"-thing.. But hey, I've even got the first line for that Adam Sandler-Chris Marquette-film: The main charecter as a middleaged man narrating: "back in the day... when I still had my good looks... *laughs* "  EDIT: I just had a visual about this beginning: First the opening credits on a dark surface. The the camera kind of lifts up and we she Chris walking on a sunny street while Adam says this line. big_smile

Come on, doesn't that tingle you, just a bit? It could be a mix in different genre's: a dramatic story of this guy that has this turningpoint of his life when he's on his mid 20's. He acts all funny all the time but it's just a cover. He's really very deep guy, serious thoughts, plans.. and he wants to make those  plans happen. And something goes wrong when trying to accomplish that.. ofcourse there's a girl. And the story could be told in flashbacks. Adam's version of the guy is on his 40's, maybe in jail or something..

any more ideas for this story? Anyone?

2)

I just saw somewhere a trivia that Chris once said in an interview that his dream role would be to play an Italian gangster. I so would like to see that. Now I'll propably think of him when watching some mafia-movie or series.. Like The Black Donnellys. It's on our tv right now.. I could totally see Chris in the lead role; you know the artistic and smart  brother... ofcourse they wouldn't be Donnellys then.. they could be like.. um.. Tribianis! lol I totally forgot all the Italian lastnames I've ever heard.. except that one. big_smile

At first I had only few questions on mind and it started to expand. Not that I'm nosy or anything. It just felt like few wasn't enough. lol Just pick like ten of them you want to answer. smile

#1732 Re: Square Eyes » Sisterhood... » 03 Oct 08 :: 13:54

I do snack in theathers. :embarrassed: I'm sorry! But I always try not to make a mess or noise, even when I was a kid. To me the theater-experience has always been a rare treat so I try to take the most of it. I've never concidered making a mess part of that experience. And I think about the poor cleaners that have enough work without me beeing an idiot too! big_smile

I think it's an important part of the expereince to have a half a liter soda and some popcorn and chocolate with me. All tough, lately I've only consumed a little of that. But they still need to be there. Just in case. :silly:

In LA right now, it's H.O.T.  Hello, it's frigging October.  It shouldn't be over 90 degrees here.  I've been here around this time of the year twice and it was not this hot.  It's not even like this in Hotlanta!  It was like 54 when I left home yesterday, and 95 when I got to LA.  :fedup:

That is hot. And it's not getting any easier for you if this is correct. hmm

I changed my avatar to Chris like everybody else. :dancing: I found this cute still from Just friends. I just love the expression on his face and the way his jawline sticks out. I've always thought that a strong jawline is one of the sexy qualities...

umm.. random, huh?  um.... WARNING: a moodflow. This might ramble...

How's your weather? big_smile I really want to know.. who to be jelous of! lol
Here's a link: http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/fin … ery=Tornio
Here in northern Finland it's darn cold. We are nearing the negatives numbers on the Celciusgrid. Today it's about 3degrees celsius. I quess that's about 38F? It looks very depressing outside right now. All cloudy and and grey when I look up. Very colourful when I look down: all the trees have stripped down! lol I love the autumn colours. Especially the huge leafs my Maple tree drops.
I'll bet this weekend my JTT is saying that we HAVE TO take all that colourful stuff off the ground. Then it'll look even more depressing outside. The snow won't come 'till november anyway...

I so don't want to go out to the cold but I have to go run some erronds.  Shopping groceries. A present for a christening. I'm a Godmother again. big_smile My third Godson. Loving it. Not that me or any of my friends are really commited to religion. Majority of Fins are ev.lut. Most of us only go to church like in weddings and funerals. But I do believe in God in my own silent way. I just don't want to create any pressure about it to my self or anyone else... My oldest friend is a Jehova's Withness. That can be quite pressuring at times. But in time we've created this silent agreement that non of us is telling the other in what to believe. big_smile

Oops. I told you I'd ramble. Sorry. :embarrassed:

#1737 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Amber's poetry » 03 Oct 08 :: 06:34

Yeah, we have some english books in our bookstores and many of them has websides. I checked but non of them has Free Stallion in stock. Neighter does any of those webstores I know in Europe. I'm thinking maybe I should order it in from amazon but I've never used that one before. Who can tell me something about them?

Will the shipping costs raise the cost to a double or something? If I buy it straight from Amazon it's over 10$ plus shipping. I found some cheaper ones too that were labeled used and good condition that costs less but there's a note "this seller is in US, shipping costs are added" or something like that. How about the paying? Can I pay with an invoice that comes with the package? I like it that way. I don't like using greditcards and I've never used paypal before. What else is there?

I like reading romance novels more than anything. Sometimes i read some of those smutty shortstories online somewhere. Until now they've all been in finnish. Anyone know any good english ones?

#1741 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Generally Funny Pics » 02 Oct 08 :: 07:47

lol Loved these. Some I've seen before.

#1742 Re: Square Eyes » Sisterhood... » 02 Oct 08 :: 07:31

I loved the Sisterhood-movies. big_smile They might be the only thing besides JoA that I've seen Amber in. I absolutely loved all the four actresses in these movies. Loved the Greece-scenes. I so want to travel around the Mediterranian sea some day. :drool:

Yes, they are all mine. All three of them cuties. The skinny guy in couple of them is my JTT. Do you think it's gross that I had put there a picture of my baby that had just came out of me? not even washed in that pic yet... I somehow think it's a cute pic..

#1744 Re: Introduce Yourself » I found you.. » 01 Oct 08 :: 07:59

I've mentioned my partner many time in my today's posts so I'm bursting to tell you more since the words partner and bf don't really give the right impression about him. We have a history of eight years behind us. The anniversary of our first kiss was 08/08/08. It would have been a great date for our wedding but we are in no rush. We just got engaged on mothersday 2007. We bought our own house January 2007. Our kids are turning 7, 4 and 2. So we pretty much handled things like we climbed a tree butt first. lol

I'll be reffering to my bf as JTT from now on. big_smile

#1745 Re: Square Eyes » Iron Man » 01 Oct 08 :: 07:41

I saw this one. My partner is a big comic fan, especially Marvels. And since I myself am pretty much into hero-stories, I like the movies too. This was a great one. I didn't know anything about Ironman before I saw so it was all just a great story for me, I had no knowledge of spoilers at all.

#1746 Re: Square Eyes » Juno » 01 Oct 08 :: 07:29

I saw this movie too. It was good. Well-acted. I think it was the first time I saw Michael Cera and Ellen Page. Absolutely loved Jennifer Garner in it. Great plotline. It made me shed a little tears too. I'm such a crybaby now days! :embarrassed:

#1747 Re: All About Chris » We're Going To LA! » 01 Oct 08 :: 07:21

#1748 Re: All About Chris » We're Going To LA! » 01 Oct 08 :: 07:19

yikes So exciting. Sounds like it's going to be a very eventful trip. I'm little envious just for the whole trip. Spoken by someone who has NEVER been outside Scandinavia. :doh:

#1750 Re: Joan of Arcadia » Chris Marquette on Joan of Arcadia » 01 Oct 08 :: 06:42

I've read almost all of that Butterflies story. Great writing. It's only the second fanfic I've ever read. I just found that fanficsite like a month ago. There's this Buffyverse story that I've been following called Wolf's cry. Seth Green is the first cute actor I thoughted to be so talented I called myself a fan. wink

I'm thinking the Butterflies is having some effect in my lovelife. It went to my subconscious somewhere since my bf wondered yesterday how come I snuggled up to him the night before even tough I don't usually like doing that. lol I don't usually do that because he feels like I'm sleeping with a radiator, all hot and swetty. I quess your story is really tickling my romantic side. smile
