Hi Deb. I just thought I'll pop in and say hello. See how everyone was doing.

I just saw it a minute ago but just really small. Was wondering what it was.

#6 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 11 Feb 11 :: 01:44

We're going in on Monday to tell the bank how we feel.

#7 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 11 Feb 11 :: 00:14

The annoying thing is they still havn't given me a definite answer to what happened to it.

#8 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 10 Feb 11 :: 21:51

Well after five days of hearing nothing from the bank about my money, I thought it was about time I gave them a call. What did I discover? They had put the money back into my account, and they hadn't even phoned me about it. :angry:

Theres three clues which made me think that it could be an error and not a person.

1. It all happened somewhere between midnight and 11am Tuesday morning. There's no times however.

2. It's down as going to O2, Bank of Scotland and Golden Staircase. After some research, I find that O2 and Golden Staircase is part of the Bank of Scotland group.

3. The amounts taken out is going in a pattern. It goes £1000, £1500, £2000, £2500 and so on.

This is an interesting change of events. They got the investigation section of the bank into the situation and apparently they don't believe it's fraud. They reckon it's an error, which has resulted in my money being taken. Looking at the information they gave me, I can kinda believe that.

#12 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 03 Feb 11 :: 22:11

Back to the bank tomorrow, hopefully to sort this all out. Currently I've only got £10 left on me.

#13 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 01 Feb 11 :: 21:19

So am I. It's ironic, because I had to leave work, making me miss my ICT lesson I teach. What we currently learning? The safety measurments when using computers. One of the points we talked about last week was hackers gaining bank details. Didn't expect it to happen to me a week later.

#14 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 01 Feb 11 :: 20:56

I had to leave work early today to go to the bank. I discovered that every single penny had been stolen from my bank account. So instead of having £10,000, I now have nothing. Fortunately, I will get it all back, and an investigation will be launched into it.

Its a great 21st century zombie film. My favorite part was when Amber Heard went through her zombie transformation. smile

I did find it amusing when Jesse Eisenberg mentions that one good thing about Zombieland is nobody updating their Facebook status'. Now look what he's the star of.

This sounds really bad for me to say this.

Anyone here fancy writing a short little something for me to have a go at? If it gets down, I plan on uploading it onto Youtube, and you will get the credit for writing it.

have fun making your film Simon! What will it be about?

The 100th day of school is tomorrow!  Can't believe it!

That's the problem. I have no idea. I'm useless at writing scripts or putting any sort of storyline together.

Well I only know very broadly where you are from... But I was in the UK for 3 weeks, went through London and Liverpool in England though. Is that close to you?

I'm in Reading. About an hour away from London.
