I managed to find a box of cereal with the badges.
I got the Klingon badge.
One thing I should note.
The pic makes it look like these come with a stand, they don't.
Bought these today from Walmart
$1
Criminal Desire
2 James Bond films from the $5 dump bin
Do the M*A*S*H sets have any good extras?
Nope!!
Just that you can watch the episode with or without the laugh track.
Same thing as the previous "Collector's Edition" season sets as well.
I will say that I wish that more sitcoms were released this way with the ability to turn off the laugh track. I just find them unnecessary. I don't need people laughing to tell me what is or isn't funny.
Bought these today from Target
$14.99 Double Pack of both seasons.
$7.50
$5.00
For lunch today I stopped at Burger King for a fish sandwich.
I've had it before and it was good.
But not this time. It tasted off somehow. Not spoiled or anything but different and not in a good way.
It's not the first time either. I had a combo a few weeks ago and the burger was fine but the fries tasted bad as well.
So I'm thinking they did something with the oil. Whatever they did it affected the taste of anything fried in oil.
So I'm not getting fries or another fish sandwich from them again.
.
Sorry about that!
I didn't even bother to check the source they linked to. I just copied & pasted it. Otherwise I wouldn't have posted it here.

Tamblyn In "Murder She Wrote" Remake
Amber Tamblyn is the front runner to star as Jessica Fletcher in The CW's upcoming reboot of "Murder, She Wrote" according to a press release from the network.
In the original twelve-season long mystery series, Angela Lansbury played a mystery novelist working in a small Maine town who solved murders each week.
In the new version, Tamblyn's Jessica Fletcher is a young, single New York City girl who writes the entertainment blog for The New York Post.
Her real passion though is crime and soon she finds herself solving various murders amongst the high profile celebrity jetset, much to the chagrin of the paper's real crime blogger Henry Holmes (Jonathan Bennett).
Celebrities, especially fellow The WB stars, are expected to cameo as themselves with "Gossip Girl" star Ed Westwick set to play a suspect in the pilot episode. Filming kicks off in July for a mid-season premiere.
Bought these today.
$4.99 from Best Buy.
$14.99 2-pack for both seasons from Target.

First hinted at here at TrekMovie last June, Paramount have finally sealed the deal for the Trek's 'Supreme Court' to move forward on a sequel to their new Star Trek, five weeks before it even opens up. Variety broke the news Monday night, see below for the first details on the new Star Trek movie.
Get Ready for another Star Trek in 2011
Here are the facts from the Variety report:
* All five "Supreme Court" members back as producers: JJ Abrams, Bryan Burk, Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman, and Damon Lindelof
* Script to be written by Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman and Damon Lindelof (story in 'embryonic' stage)
* JJ could possibly direct, no decision yet
* Script to be delivered by Christmas 2009 for a possible Summer 2011 releaseThis is essentially the same set up as the first deal back in 2006 for the current film. Abrams did not sign on as director for the film until early 2007. The only difference is that Lindelof (an Emmy winning writer) is now also listed as screenwriter. However, in previous interviews with both Lindelof and the writers, it has been indicated that Damon worked closely with the writers as they were working on the script.

Warning that some may have spoilerish material.

She would make a perfect date for the Home Improvement guy.
I don't think I've ever seen high heel tennis shoes (or whatever those are).
Nope didn't know that about the twins.
The only twins I know is that Linda Hamilton (Terminator) has a twin as does Shawn Ashmore (X-Men).
Winter weather is back!!
Got about 1/2 an inch of snow and it's only 33 degrees with an expected high of 37.
But all of it should be gone tomorrow with highs around 50.
I bought 4 packages of Eggo products to send off for 2 Star Trek plates.
Meijer had Kellogg's cereal on sale as well for $2 a box (with the Star Trek badges inside). But none of them had the offer on the box, just the regular boxes. Will go back on Tuesday to check again before the sale ends.
I stopped at Walmart and bought the last Speed Racer helmet that makes sounds for $4. Regular price was closer to $25 or so. I'm surprised that the helmet fits an adult head. I guess they knew some adults would buy it for themselves and play with it.:D
At the Movies reviewed it on this weekends show.
Basically they gave it a mixed review, but both said "skip it".
They said it wasn't terrible and had some good things about it. But had too many scenes that just "didn't quite get there". And that with so many scenes like that, that the film itself doesn't "quite get there". Whatever that meant.
Here is the US poster.
Which is similar to an early teaser magazine image for Star Trek The Motion Picture.
I was going to buy the Target edition with the book, but when I saw that it was just pushed inside the case I skipped getting that and just get the regular edition.
If the Steelbook was available here I would have gotten that.
It's nerd Justin.
I completed my Witch Mountain collection today.
Meijer had it on sale for $10.
Of course there is a chance that Disney could very likely offer all 3 films in a 'Witch Mountain' collection when Race gets released on dvd in the future. Perhaps I should of waited. all well.
So I went grocery shopping and I found some Eggo items with a Star Trek movie plate offer.
They were on sale for $2 each, so I bought 4 of them to get 2 of them.
Here is what the Eggo plate looks like.
Kellogg's is going to have quite a few items available.
The badges look real cool imo.
Not too excited about the T-shirt.
or the Flash Drive either.
You can also get to see the movie for free. However you have to send in 5 tokens and wait to get it via mail. (Kind of a dumb way to do it imo.)
