When it begun, I was worried they'd kill Kenny. but it was way more screen time I expected. smile Should I worry that I love to see Chris being interrogated? big_smile When ever his characters are put under pressure, that's when his talent is slapped into people's faces. and btw, I just loved that he got to use his nervous tics-act again! nice contrast to the cold blooded sociopath in Criminal minds!

someone should do some 40s movie starring him. I've said it before and I'll say it again.

My daughter is having trouble learning english so I got her into watching movies in english. TV and movies in english is what made it click for me back in the 90s. Her dad and stepmom got her started with Harry Potters and Twilight and she saw some of those here too. Last night she saw the new Karate kid, but that might have been a step back. There isn't one person in that movie that speaks proper english. thehe. I sound like a snob. Tonight I showed her The Sisterhood of the travelling pants and she says it's her favorite. big_smile TSOTTP2 tomorrow or later this week.

Any suggestions on good movies that would be ok for a 10 year old girl? she's used to tv shows that have gadgets and action like Code Lyoko, Bagugan, etc. but I think she'd love movies about friednship. dramas, comedys, nothing too heavy or scary. please chip in! big_smile

lol. here some people say if a guy has that on his chin, it means his first child is a girl. it's freaky how often it really is.

I  jumped head first into the world of web dating last night. I thought I made my ad a total guy-repellant but apparently it made a lot of people smile and laugh, and the right kinda guys answer. lol. lets see where this will take me. last time I dated guys through a site like that, I ended up with new friends. The first time: in love and with family.

My spring break vacation has come to its final stretch! big_smile I've been on the road for a week already. two more days to go. I arrived by train with the kids a week ago friday and was at my sister J's place until tuesday. then she took us to the big town near by to visit my friend and my ex picked up the kids. I stayed with my friend until today, spending 3-8 hours shopping each day. my doogs are barking! big_smile my (jehova's withness-) friend is pregnant and I freaked her superticious self by knowing all shorts of things about her baby that were proven true by an ultra sound/sonogram(/wtf is it anyway). I guess I really am a bit psychic. lol. in which case in 3-5 years I'll be having a date with a guy that looks like Evan Peters but a bit more finnish, as seen in a precock-like-dream the other night. hehe. today I took a bus a short way toward my sisters again and then my mom picked me up and took me here, to my older sister R's place. I was a little concerned my sis and/or bro might try to talk me into going to party at the near by skiing resort which is the closest thing to a club they've got here in the land of thousand lakes and millions of trees, but luckily they all went to bed already. maybe tomorrow. i dunno what's in store. but I'll be taking the train home sunday noon. smile the kids already went back north with the ex. it's been a tough but fun trip. big_smile missing my babies and wishing my cat won't hate me when I get back. I also hope the cat sitter did a good job.

your presidency voting lasts somuch longer than ours. they started at the same time, but our new president was already chosen last month and started the job march 1st. how would you feel about a president who was once called "half-wild widower"? big_smile better than a green gay man in a registered relationship with an equadorian man? 6 yeas back when the half-wild widower was running the first time, I liked what he was saying but still voted for the female president because she had already done great job at her first 6 year presidency. now I liked the gay guy better. he seemed to have a good head on his shoulders dispite all the labelling. of all the candidates we had, I really liked best ne who dropped on second round. he was an elderly man with a long career in politics but a youthful take on things. now that one was really a keeper. too bad this president race turned into a reality show-like popularity contest. better luck for you guys. don't give all that power to some idiot who'll end this World.

:rofl: That was awesome! Had to spam it all over my facebooks. I just adore that woman and her wits! I love her little demos. she really should make an album. I'm sure at least all the lesbians and feminists would love it. big_smile

we have arrived to my sister's place after a train trip that seemed longer than life itself. Happy reunion with the kids' cousins. they've all grown like weeds! big_smile my godson looks more and more like an actor/sports star. gonna be a heart breaker in a few years. hehe. my niece looks more and more like Luna in HP. big_smile the other nephew just looks like himself. or wrestler. all my sister's kids look and act like athletes. makes me ashamed I didn't push harder trying to get sports hobbies for my kids when they were younger. they could have used it. to learn that rules are there for a reason etc. J was always "no no, that will cost too much" so I kept pushing it back until I got work too. dang... looking to get the boys into football/soccer. they'd be good at it. in the meanwhile... this trip... lets just see if we'll all get fed up with each other by tuesday as usual. I'll be going to the bigger town anyways to see a friend. smile

#344 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 01 Mar 12 :: 11:22

anyone else having a spring break around these times? big_smile how are you people?

I'm on pins and needles. Can't stand being at home too much anymore. I love going to school. nut. Now I haven't been there since last wednesday and I was so looking to go back this monday, but instead I had to stay at home with mildly sick boys all of this week. tomorrow we're taking off in a train to visit my relatives in Southern Finland. I'll probably come back more stressed. relatives can do that. and my mom has gone totally mental. I'm actually kinda scared of her and for her but nothing much I can do about it. anyhoo. I won't let her guilt me to stay at her place with the kids when I know how she is at nights. staying at my sister's instead and then tuesday I'll go to visit my friend in the city near by for couple of days and the ex will pick up the kids from there. then back to visit my other sister and brother for the rest of the week or as long as we can tolarate each other. lol. I'm actually a bit nervous about travelling by train in winter time especially since they've been having some troubles all winter, but still I must go. I'd be even more nervous if I just let my ex drive to the other end of the country with the kids. I'll still be stressed about him getting into an accident with the kids since where he is going there's been an awful lot of accidents this winter. luckily not too many casulties, but still; his impatient driving style and the trafic that is to be expected there... I just hope at least the driving weather isn't awful. wish us all luck and sanity! lol

Ever notice John Cusack spends a lot time in the rain on screen? Or that Brat Pitt has an oral fixation? Or that Tom Cruise just loves to run?
and yes, I totally misspelled brad on purpose. I never got his appeal.

on another note. Ever notice if you put "Cusack" on as a search word on this board, you get a whole page full of answers. Like ALL the threads that are the least bit active! big_smile I was surprised to find out this but also to find out that he doesn't have his own thread. with all the comparing to Chris I expected to find a Cusack appreciation thread! big_smile

I checked it quickly today. kept fastforwarding. not my kinda show but Amber looked pretty and fresh. her character was like the only sane person. big_smile

#349 Re: Chris On Screen » The Napkin (a short film by Aaron Himelstein) » 18 Feb 12 :: 17:14

I spent an hour yesterday trying to find this online, but no luck. of course. someone should convince these boys to put up a Youtube account and post their shorts there. there are a lot of people making money out of the ad deals of youtube and making a name for themselves. *winkwink* just as Kaleb Nation, Dave Days, Smash! etc. or that eastern european chick that posts a reply video to every popular music video just so she gets people to think it's her singing the song and click it. all so that she could get ad money.
