This would put you on the spot Deb, in what order from best to least best were the characters in this film?
Just watched Bring Back Star Trek here in the UK. For anyone who doesn't know about it, it's a show where they try to reunite the original cast. Walter Koenig comes across as such a lovely and very funny man.
Just watched this video on another site. It's actually pretty cool.
Attack of the 60 Foot Centerfold
What a great title.
I hope you're not going to throw stones at me, but I didn't like it all that much.
Right, i have my stones ready.
Thanks for the little bits of info you posted. I think i did read somewhere a quote from Anton about how is accent was supposed to be slightly exagerrated or something like that.
But i wasnt insulting him! If i ever do insult someone i want them to know about it trust me. That was just me quoting the movie cos i love the character Eli
I feel terrible now. Obviously i wasn't thinking straight. It was midnight after a hards day work. Well, welcome anyway.
And Simon, just for you... "Shut the f*ck up! Next question"
Am i taking this as an insult or as a joke? I'm confused. :silly:
I can remember the trouble when i had with JOA. I only stumbled onto it by accident and just continued with the remainder of it. Some good episodes with it, as well as some good characters. I will admit that there was a few dissapointments for me. Won't say what as i don't want to spoil anything.
You will have to let us know how it is without giving anything away. I'm seeing it next Saturday.
I hate critics like that. I always see his name pop up with popular films.
Anyone going to see this within the first week?
I love cats and would have loved to have had one but i live right outside a busy road so it wasn't a good idea.
Looking good.
My dog is starting to get old. Need to take him to the vets soon. I worry about him sometimes.
Hee! Simon - LOVERLY! (Maybe sooper dooper extra, I don't know.)
Thanks
I agree. Simon is extra lovely.
That's true.
wellcome kate !!!! and it's so true. this site is so nice. and the moderators are such lovely people who definitely help you anyway they can.
Not only the moderators. We ALL on lovely people.
For me if it says 'Suger Free' then i won't like it.
What a Shame. Only last week did i watch The Muppet Movie, in which he features in a great opening scene.
After suffering a headache from all the meetings at work, i decided to relax in the bath. As i am an idiot in determining the correct temperature for water, i made it near boiling and got in.
Legs was able to take the warm water. Something else wasn't. I've never seen myself get out a bath soo quickly.
For someone who never used to be a fan of Star Trek, i'm so hyped right now it's unbeliavable. I just want to see it now.
Me not speaking to my brother for more than a day is all because of Star Trek.
I have the Nemesis 2 disc set. The weekend before i actually bought the 1 disc really cheap. I didn't expect to find the 2 disc set really cheap a week later.
I'm one of those dvd fans who have to have the most extra features, so the 2 disc sets are what i'm looking for. I also have Star Trek: The Motion Picture 2 disc set, so 2 out of 10 ain't bad for the moment. I've only seen each film up to Generations once so far, and The Voyage Home is the one i've enjoyed the most.
They had a Star Trek marathon on Sky over here. They showed all the films except First Contact and Nemesis. I've got Insurrection recorded and now i have Nemesis, i'm just trying to find a copy of First Contact. They are quite expensive online.
Doom is not the greatest film but i enjoyed. And it does have Bones McCoy in.
Another update from moi;
I've had such a messed up weekend. Been avoiding my brother all day.
A - I've asked the studio what's going on and I don't think they've sold the UK rights yet. I keep saying let me do a screening but they're still hoping we'll sell it. They might have sold it and locked somebody in, but either way I'll come over at some point and screen it on DVD.
Well, that sounded promising.
Atleast it is nice to see someone say positive things about the prequels.
Here's someones youtube page i found where he has compiled together many of the Star Trek videos released on the net including trailers, clips and interviews.
