I love those old Columbos.  The ones from the 80s were good, but he just didn't look like he was having as much fun as he did the first time around.  In fact I loved all the shows on the old "Sunday Mystery Movie" series.  It's so much fun to catch an old Columbo, McMillan & Wife, or Hec Ramsey.  But Columbo was the best!

I remember Robert Culp killing a guy at his gym and Columbo could tell that the victim hadn't tied his own shoes, so that's how he got him.  I think the other time he killed either his wife or girlfriend.  But I don't remember any details.

Yeah, I had this whole "Spellbound" Ingrid Bergman "Casablanca" Bogie Bacall "Mirror Has Two Faces" Jeff Bridges "Open Road" thing worked out in my head.

Yeah, me too.  I think Roseanne gave jobs to Jon Waters' people (like Tracy Lords), but I can't remember Mink Stole ever doing an episode.  Stumped!

Well for some reason the movie is UP $3.00/share on Hollywood Stock Exchange.  So I won't buy any.  LDW is down a bit, so I picked up 1,500 shares.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, Kate!  I'm glad you got to have a little more time with him after his surgery.  Sounds like he was a big part of the family.

I know what you mean about a single episode ruining things, Rick!  I also loathes the St. Elsewhere finale, but still love what the show was.  I also hated the last season of "Roseanne".  Can't believe someone besides me still remembers (& loves) the Jim Hutton version of "Ellery Queen"!

I love a bunch of stuff from your list, Deb!  I'll have to really think about it before I make out my list.:/  I love most anything Steve Bochco did in the 80s. 

One of my all-time favorite shows was "Ed", without a doubt the best-ever series about a bowling alley owner/lawyer ever produced - bar none! :rofl:

Hee!  I like that Google is making a different Sesame Street banner for every day of the anniversary week.  Today they've got Oscar and his garbage can lid is the first "O" in google.  My favorite was the first day (I think), they had Big Bird's feet and legs:

I tried to like Numb3rs in the beginning, but I just couldn't stay with it.  I'm really sad to hear that "Medium" ratings are only slightly better, however.  I hope THAT one lasts for years & years!  Love that show!
