Thanks, guys. It's okay about the graphic. Had kind of a blah day, though. Lots of hugs from the colleagues, but sitting in a 4 hour meeting until 6:30 that has your boss's boss's boss's boss in attendance is really not a great deal of fun. Especially if you've only had 6 hours of sleep. Thus I'm looking forward to the couch and Sam and Sam and Meaghan (i.e. Being Human), though I have a feeling that's gonna be interrupted by a couple of phone calls.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ANNE!

Maria, look here!!!!!
I have a new mobile phone, yay!
Yeah, I saw he was looking for a house to buy. John is coming back with him, right?

Well, I did, and my reaction was more 'meh' than I hoped. I mean, I liked it, but I think I just wasn't really in the mood. Will definitely keep watching, though. At least White Collar from last night, after a 5 months break, was really good.

Uh.... yeah. It says that.

Michael Welch to star in modern day Hänsel & Gretel horror remake: http://www.bloody-disgusting.com/news/27916/ Uhm... I'm honestly not sure what to think of that...

Just FYI: Being Human US (feat. Sam Huntington) started airing season 2 last night. Can't wait to watch it when I get home tonight.

Good movies I've lately watched on DVD/Blu-ray are:
Monsters (alien invasion post-apocalypse, but less action and more character focused)
The Road (very depressing post-apocalypse, but brilliantly acted)
The Town (Jeremy Renner ftw!)
Unstoppable (action all the way)
Leaves of Grass (very whacky drama/comedy mixture with Ed Norton playing identical twins)
X-Men: First Class is also worth seeing if you haven't already.

And whoever wants to see it, this is where you can find it: http://www.rlslog.net/the-double-2011-d … -warrlord/ (Expect some of those links to not work.) I myself will wait for the Blu-ray, though. Just 3 1/2 more weeks, I can wait that long.

The Alamo Drafthouse theater in Austin, TX will hold a special screening of Fanboys on Jan 18, 2012 to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The writer of the movie, Ernie Cline, will also be in attendance. Tickets and more information on the Alamo Drafthouse website.
From the theater's website:
Join screenwriter Ernie Cline and the 501st Legion (costumed Star Wars bad guys) for a special screening of FANBOYS to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Help us cheer on the onscreen fanboys as they attempt to break into George Lucas' Skywalker Ranch to steal an early copy of Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace and answer the ultimate question: "What if the movie sucks?" We're going full geek on this one. Expect a theater full of costumed Storm Troopers, droids, and all the Star Wars nerdiness you can handle. And yes, you can wear your Yoda ears.

I'm being way too distracted by shiny things on the internet these days. *sigh* I know it's not a big thing to do this once a month, so I'll try.

If you haven't seen Mission Impossible you must! IT's great fun - a good new years eve movie if you don't have any plans.
I was sold as soon as I saw Jeremy Renner in the trailer, but I think I'm gonna wait for the Blu-ray. It's only showing in English in that dinky little arthouse theater in Cologne that I don't like, and I don't think I want the cinematical experience badly enough to go there for it. It's also showing with German subtitles, which I always find distracting. I've only heard good things, though, so I'm looking forward to seeing it eventually.

And, you know, sadly it's not always about quality or fairness. I've been looking into Peter Outerbridge a little lately (okay, a lot -- don't ask), and he's been in a ton of stuff. He got a number of award nominations for stuff I thought was more or less mediocre. And then he did a guest spot in an episode of Sanctuary, which was fantastic. Possibly his best work after ReGenesis. Still, that one totally flew under the radar. One can only wonder why.

Work was very slow today. I went home at 4, go figure. Treating yourself for lunch sounds great. I had chicken with curry sauce from the cafeteria. Nothing great, but then it's not my birthday today...
-TeeJay
Deb, I've got something for ya!
I hope you're having a great day today with something a little special. I hope you don't (like me) have to work...

Oh, and I guess this is also worth looking at: http://www.tumblr.com/tagged/christopher+marquette

Anyone here used Tumblr? I only just recently looked into it, and there's someone named Kelly who appears to be a big Chris fan: http://chrismarquette.tumblr.com/ For posts tagged for Chris, see here: http://www.tumblr.com/tagged/chris+marquette (The tag page is nicer to look at if you actually have an account cause then the pics show up way bigger.)

You can go visit the Foglers! LOL!
In Copenhagen? (Just kidding.) I don't even know if the trip is gonna happen. And if it does, I kinda doubt Anja and Constanze would like to meet the Fogler family. I, however, would certainly not say no.
-TeeJay
TeeJay, are you taking any fabulous vacations over the holidays?
LOL. Nope. Just seeing my family. I'm actually working Dec 27 and 28. And then back to work on Jan 02. Not sure when my next vacation will be. Probably in spring some time, visiting Steffi in Copenhagen. Or maybe even flying to New York, if that works out.

It's been kind of a quiet year in 2011, but nonetheless have we had a lot of fun with the Chris-related things we've discovered over the last twelve months. Thanks, everyone, for sticking around on the Message Board, and a warm welcome to the new fans who have found their way here.
As the year comes to a close, we would like to wish everyone a wonderful Christmas time and a Happy New Year. May 2012 bring lots of new project for Chris and all the things that anyone can wish for!
