I first loved her in Back to the Future 3  big_smile it was my favorite movie saga growing up. My favorite role of hers must be Helen but I always love getting surprised when she gets on screen in movies. she sure gets around! big_smile

#406 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 07 Dec 11 :: 21:44

whoopsie! big_smile I guess it's been stormy or at least windy for you lately. here, we've FINALLY got snow! big_smile and proper negative celsius for a change. can't believe I'm actually happy about winter starting, but snow does make this dark world a bit brighter. this looooong fall has sucked all the energy out of me.I do actually like it when it's mildly freezing, like -5 to 0, or on a good weather I might even like -10 or -15. the air feels so fresh! and really, it does refresh big_smile

what else is new.. hmm. my school is going well. got an A from last... uh... section would be the word to word translation. the school year is cut in five sections. last one was mechanical drawing and Autocad. now it's all about renovation building. been writing 6 full dys into our notebooks about all the materials, and now my notebook is full. just in time. teacher says we're done writing. now we're doing. well, tomorrow we're seeing, as in we'll go visit one house factory. heh. we get too see the materials and a bit of the building process. maybe some designing assistents at work. I've got a little grudge to this firm, since they so bluntly turned me down last fall when I asked to be a padawan there. but i do like their work. and smell of freshly cut wood and other construction scents have always made me kinda happy and inspired. a bit of a high actually. yup, weirdo here big_smile

#407 Re: Chris On Screen » The Double » 07 Dec 11 :: 17:37

where did you check Sweden? big_smile I figured, maybe cdon.com but I couldn't find it there.

#408 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 03 Dec 11 :: 23:45

yeah I figured the real Kris Lemche probably wouldn't put all those actors as his brothers and sisters. childish things. but I accidentally clicked "friend" button and now can't find the unfriend button. wtf? I imagine some attention seeking fangirl could set up dozens of actor profiles and friend them all together, etc. how boring must one's life be to do all that?

#409 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 02 Dec 11 :: 19:00

http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id= … 49&sk=info

hmm? probably another fangirl gone crazy? Where's the Jersey from? big_smile stumbled upon this one when FB told me to friend this Kristopher Lemche character because we had Aaron HImelstein and Sean Marquette in common. is even this Kris real? in his info was listed his work experience, amongst which "JOA with Jersey Marquette and 3 others"

*lifts this thread on her shoulders, puts all her muscles at work and pushes it to the top of the "new"*

Just because I had to go by the Index to find this thread so I could update my background, it doesn't mean everyone else should too. New pages on your calendars ladies! big_smile

I liked Home improvement too. not religiously or anything but if I happened to catch it on TV, I had to see it to the end. of course I also had crushes on the boys. that one guy in particular. can't remember his name now... Jonathan Taylor Thomas? I was a teenager then... how's he now days? big_smile *lurks to IMDB*

#412 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 30 Nov 11 :: 18:52

the weather has been crappy here lately. very windy and rainy. where's the snow? yesterday it was -6c already but today it was over the 0 again, which meant...*drum roll*... raining sideways! again, instead of yesterday's few flakes. there's a big probability of black Christmas. In Finnish F*ing Lapland??!! not again. there were couple of black Christmases 5 years ago that we didn't get snow until dec 26th. damn... it really looked dark outside at 1pm because of the thick cloud. snow would make the cloudy seem more lit.

hello. big_smile welcome! tell us about yourself!

#414 Re: Square Eyes » Twilight (contains spoilers for all books and the movies) » 30 Nov 11 :: 18:44

I saw a bootleg of BD the other day. it was a very murky cam version, barely watchable, but it inspired me to go and see it in theater last night. only about 10 people there. it was pretty good. followed the book well enough and I think the acting has been getting better from most of the actors. some of them just seem to go worse because they don't get enough lines. like  the humans. and the Cullens even. I'm always just very sick of Volturi and thought that end scene was pointless. they were in the other set of actors that seem to devolve in my eyes.

yes, the wigs were terrible. The wolves talking were a little "eh" at first but then I realized it was pretty close to the book too. even the Alpha's voice distorted, loaded with power. anyone else ever notice that on every movie, when ever the Cullens and wolves fight, it's Emmett vs Paul? big_smile there was barely enough Alex in the movie. Booboo attempts to take over A's throne in my eyes, on who makes the best wolf.  Booboo IS Seth, right? big_smile on another note: I've totally fallen in love with Kristen and didn't even realize. I absolutely didn't like Bella in the books but Kristen's interpretion of her is very likeable with only a little bit of dislike. PS: She's so damn sexy. I might have to admit that the reason I wanted to see it in theater, were the teasing scenes on the honeymoon. I mean: WOW! :drool: I think I might see it a couple more times to catch all the little details start to finish, but I'll wait for the DVD.

Happy Thanksgiving, americans! big_smile have some turkey on my behalve too.

#416 Re: Square Eyes » In Praise of Chris's Colleagues » 25 Nov 11 :: 14:46

tomorrow afternoon in Finnish TV there'll be shown Papa Joe's 'A very married christmas'-movie. Just checked it on IMDB and wow, maybe they should air it a little later than 4pm. maybe the TV people didn't do their work properly and think it's for kids because it's been labelled Family movie.

#417 Re: Square Eyes » In Praise of Chris's Colleagues » 24 Nov 11 :: 17:52

I loved Russell girl. so well done and heartbreaking.

#418 Re: Square Eyes » New Shows 2011 » 24 Nov 11 :: 17:50

just watched pilot for The Exes. there's bit of "3rd rock from the sun" reunion in the air big_smile I wish JGL guest stars.

#420 Re: Square Eyes » Twilight (contains spoilers for all books and the movies) » 23 Nov 11 :: 22:41

The humans don't have BD2 listed on their IMDB creds. also I think I read it in someone's interview sometime. I have to disagree with you about splitting it in two. It was a great idea. I think it was split in just the right point. reading the book, I always felt like I just read two books. It does seem like there's two full stories in it.

#422 Re: Square Eyes » Twilight (contains spoilers for all books and the movies) » 22 Nov 11 :: 22:17

I don't know if or when I'll get to see the movie. the theater in my town quit in may and I don't really have a ride to go to the next town. busses don't come back from there after the movie ends. shucks. so far everyone I know has liked it big_smile

#423 Re: Square Eyes » In Praise of Chris's Colleagues » 19 Nov 11 :: 15:43

I bet I could on my 23" screen at school big_smile grrrr, somebody sure grew up very manly and sexy. now I wanna see him have a werewolf role.

#424 Re: Square Eyes » True Blood » 19 Nov 11 :: 15:40

actors must  spend more time touring on these fan-gatherings than actually acting now days. they start to remind more and more of rock stars.
