Oy, it's the first.  *blushes*

The unofficial one has over 2,200 friends, and the official one has only 310?   :doh:

#27 Re: Chris On Screen » Fanboys » 17 Jul 08 :: 08:03

Honestly, no I haven't.   :embarrassed:   But it's due to my slow internet connection.  I don't watch a lot of video files online because it either takes for ever for them to download or there's always interruptions (buffering....buffering....buffering).  But I'm familiar with the movie, mostly thanks to you guys.   wink   And yes, I'm definitely a Star Wars fan.  So I look forward to this.  I hope it ends up coming out this year, and not postponed AGAIN.

#28 Re: Chris On Screen » Fanboys » 17 Jul 08 :: 07:06

Lo and behold, I log into MySpace today and I have a new friend request.  I wasn't too excited about it because lately all the requests I've gotten have been from random people just wanting to increase their friend list size.  Nah, I'm not game to those.  But today?  It was a request from the Fanboys official MySpace page!   yikes   How'd that happen??  How'd they know I was a Marquette fan??   lol

I'm guessing the creator(s) of the page was doing a random search for users who included Star Wars in their favorite movie list, and it was only coincidence it was also Chris movie.  I was delighted to get the request.   big_smile   Looked at the page of course and saw our boy.  I'm interested in seeing the movie myself whenever it comes out.

You know what I just noticed yesterday?  There's a little icon of Chris' face on the tap the sight is open on.  At least there is in Firefox, is it there in IE too?  It's there both when I'm logged in and when I'm not.  I never noticed that before, is it new?  I think it looks great either way!   wink

i have one question.    do marquette brothers smoke?

Aren't there pictures here somewhere of Chris with a cigarette?  Hmm...  I think Deb answered for Chris though.  As for Sean, no he doesn't.  Not to say he hasn't tried it, but people trying to maintain voice acting careers are encouraged not to smoke in order to keep their voices flexible for their voice roles.  And especially after just finishing a job doing the voice of a child, he most certainly didn't smoke.  On top of that, according to his old MySpace (last year) he said he didn't smoke.  Or drink for that matter.  I remember thinking "Good boy, Sean!" at the not smoking, and also the yet-to-turn-21.   big_smile   Although I suppose it's always a possibility he fibbed about those options.

As for Eric, according to his MySpace, yes he does smoke.  But again, who's to say how much or how often.  I have a feeling he doesn't very often.   wink   Last we heard he was majoring in Bio Med.

Waking up a sleeping thread.   big_smile

This happens to be a dream I had just last night.  I dreamed I was attending the rehearsal for a theatrical production of Remember the Daze.  I watched Chris on the stage rehearsing his part in the play with some of the other guys.  I remember he was wearing jeans with a white tee shirt and an untucked "sloppy" flannel shirt over it, unbuttoned.   tongue   Anyway, after the play ended, everyone got ready for the formal production by setting up more chairs and clearing the floor for the audience.  Chris helped, and in the back there were some unclaimed bicycles that needed to be moved.  I decided I wanted to ride one off the floor (much more fun than walking it off the floor), but they were all men's bicycles, and I'm short, so I had a hard time getting on it due to the high straddle bar.  Chris held the bike for me so I could get on, and for some bazaar reason told me "Quando quando quando", and I somehow understood that to mean "Careful".  I have no idea where "Quando" came from, as I have not heard that song in a while, and also know that it means "When" in Italian.  But that's what he said, and I understood it to be "Careful" for some reason.   lol   Anyway, we eventually got the bikes off the floor and set up more chairs, and that's where the dream ended.

I must repeat- Bazaar!!

Oh, and Sean wasn't in it at all.  Even more bazaar.   :doh:

Hello again my friends, just thought I'd give a little update on the Cartoon Network Upfront press conference that took place yesterday, and any news concerning the animated show Sean is involved in.  Actually the Upfront barely mentioned anything about it, so we (the fans) were still in the dark until this evening.  The creator and producer of the show Craig McCracken himself came onto the fan board and shared the news that the show is now in its last season.  Most fans were prepared for the worst, so although sad, they took it very well.  I'm still concerned about some of the show's biggest fans though, some of whom haven't even heard the news yet.   sad

The news is already spreading like wildfire through the Foster's Fandom.  I'm glad this news is official now though.  It had four great years of giving us laughs, heartwarmings, and shared adventures.  I'll miss hearing Sean's voice as an 8 year old.  But at least we'll still have the rest of the final season to look forward to, and then many years of reruns.  But still, I can feel something inside me crying.   :crying:

LOL at the last three posts.   lol

I didn't get near enough chocolate for Easter.  So I made up for it today.   :dancing:

Hi Lynnie.  Did you hear about Foster's?

Eh?   I've heard some "news" lately, but nothing that's really a big deal.  Did Chris mention it?  If you're allowed, PM/email me, as we may not want the info on a public board yet.  You've got me quite curious now.   :clueless:

Edit:  Deb emailed me and told me the news.  Thank you, Deb.   smile

A very happy Easter to everyone.  Have fun, hide eggs, eat chocolate!   big_smile

Aw, wow, love the new pics!  Also love the news updates.  Many kudos to our boy for keeping his fans informed.   :hug:

It's also super that some of you might be able to get together again and see him in person.  Sounds like a dream come true on so many levels.  There's no way I'd be able to go *sigh*, but for those of you who might get to make it, hope everything works out.  Oh yeah, and have fun.   big_smile

Is that R2D2 on the top of the van?   tongue   I like the expression on Chris' face in the second one best.  He almost looks sleepy.  Oh and in the last one, you can totally see that one guy's underwear, lol.   lol   You can even almost see the brand name.

#39 Re: All About Chris » The Brothers Marquette » 16 Mar 08 :: 06:14

I am highly amused.   I did an image search and my TV.com icon popped up with all three of them (is that how you found it, Deb?).  Why just my icon?  I find that funny.   lol   Don't know how that happened, though.  Someone must have tagged it or something.

While looking through Sean's pics, I found a few I haven't seen before, and don't even recall seeing here (although I could be wrong).  Thought I'd share.   smile

I only have s1 of Roswell on DVD, but I have the rest on VHS. I don't quite like s2 and s3 so much, but s1 was magical. Max was my favorite character on the show, so, yeah, of course I had to name my computer Maxwell after him. smile In fact, he still exists. I don't use him anymore, but he's standing in a quiet corner of my room. I should probably just get rid of him, he's a dinosaur.

And glad to have you as a registered member now, Lynnie. Hope you come back often.

Yeah, S1 was definitely the best season, I agree totally.  S2 was kind of strange- too much sci fi stuff, and it got confusing and too dramatic, I found it just kind of corny in spots.  S3 was much better.  I loved the thought of Max having a baby.  I always said "If it's Max's baby, it must be my baby too", lol!   :embarrassed:   And I absolutely loved the finale.  Other than separating Isabel and Jesse (they should have kept them together, dang it!), I thought it was a perfect series finale.  Ah, the thought of those aliens traveling the world using their powers for good to make up for all the mess they unintentionally made earlier on, it quite inspires me.  I wonder when they'll be coming to my neck of the woods.  Perhaps they're already here!   big_smile

Hey Lynnie,

I just sent you a Friend Invite on MySpace. Cool site. So you like Roswell too, huh? Did you hear that Chris and Jason Behr almost got to do a movie together? They were both gonna be in Oliver Stone's Pinkville. Until Hollywood started with the WGA strike and the movie got scrapped for now. Or maybe ever. We don't know.

Oh yes.  Big Roswell fan here.  I have the entire series on DVD and have watched it premier to finale multiple times.  I do remember reading a few places here that you were as well.  You once named your computer after Max?  How awesome is that!   big_smile   Man, I had the biggest crush on Jason for the longest time.  Still do, but I've calmed down some, haha.   :drool:      I'm not the biggest fan of horror flicks, but I did watch The Grudge for one reason, and one reason only-  Jason!

I'm more than happy to be your friend on MySpace TeeJay, thanks for the invite!   smile

Thanks to everyone else for the comments on my page too.  I love mermaids and other "mystical" creatures (fairies, unicorns, elves).  I also have a somewhat fetish with medieval times and the Victorian and Edwardian eras too.  You'll see/hear a lot about those from me, I'm sure.   wink

Yay, more pictures!   big_smile   Especially the "baby" pictures a few posts back.  Although he's not exactly a baby.  How old is he there, eleven?  Twelve?

Uh....  lol   Sorry, this had me doubled over in laughter, not really because it's funny, but ironic.

This just so happens to be my user icon/avatar at TV.com.   :embarrassed:   I'm the top contributer for Sean, and also Eric (not much to contribute for Eric, though), and I've made contributions for Chris, but haven't made his "top" list yet.  Frankly, I don't visit much any more because there are just too many trolls and gamers there.  Anyway, gotta clear this up-

Sean is the voice actor for the boy here, not Eric.  His character's name is Mac.  The little blue "thing" next to him is an imaginary friend named Bloo.  They're from the cartoon Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends which airs on Cartoon Network.  It's also an American cartoon, created and produced by Craig McCracken (he also created and produced The Powerpuff Girls for any who are familiar with that cartoon) in Burbank, California.  This picture is one of the first prototypes of Mac and Bloo drawn by Craig himself.  The original is just a pencil sketch.  The color was added by yours truly.  So this is a picture I uploaded from my own computer.  wink

You have some pictures in your gallery of Sean signing autographs at Comic-Con '06 for this show, borrowed from a fan sight I also happen to be a member of.  It's one of my favorite shows right now, and has a much bigger adult fandom than one might think.  And my favorite character?  Why, it's Mac, of course!  Yup, I like cartoons, and I'm proud of it.   big_smile   You can never be too old for cartoons.

Anyway, Sean does an excellent job doing Mac's voice.  He's suppose to be only 8 years old, and although he may not sound quite that young, he sounds like a kid.  It was amusing during the first season of the show back in '04 when we can very clearly hear Sean's voice changing.  Mac's voice got much deeper within a matter of episodes.  It's fun watching an early eppie and then one of the later ones and hearing the drastic difference.   lol

Alrighty, how's that for a post?  Heheh, I just couldn't let this picture slide.  It does have something to do with one of our boys, at least.  Oh, and the above pic of Eric and Sean is priceless.  Gotta love them boys.   :hug:
