I'll have to look into Much Ado About Nothing.  I hadn't heard about this one.  I had been following a scary movie he wrote that looked fun: Cabin in the Woods, that has lots of Whedonverse alumnus as well!

Joss Whedon Producing Supernatural Romance In Your Eyes:

Deadline reports that Joss has already announced the next Bellwether film, a supernatural romance called In Your Eyes (with apologies to Peter Gabriel).

In Your Eyes will tell the story of two "polar opposites" who prove to be connected in strange, and no doubt romantic, ways. Whedon himself wrote the script, but directorial duties will fall to Brin Hill. Whedon's statement says that he wrote In Your Eyes a while ago but didn't have the apparatus to get it made without a studio involved. Now he has Bellwether Pictures to fill that gap, as well as a noted increase in "moxie." Here's what he had to say:
“When I wrote In Your Eyes, I didn’t have the wherewithal (or the moxie) to make it without an established production house ... I believe, as I did then, that it’s a pretty timeless romance, and now, with the creation of Bellwether Pictures (and Brin Hill’s elegant, passionate take on the piece), I have the opportunity to prove it. (I also have a 37% increase in moxie.)"

Between Much Ado and In Your Eyes we can begin to get a feel for what sort of pictures Bellwethers will be producing: small, intimate, unusual. The sort of stuff that might normally travel the festival or art-house circuit, but which will now get the attention that having Whedon's name attached will provide. And who knows, maybe they'll eventually broaden their mandate and lure Joss back to the small screen for a new show...

So I have 'Frozen River' from netflix.  Has anyone watched it?  I haven't yet.  I hear its really good but for some odd reason I can't get motivated to watch it because I hear it is a little slow.

Completely random, but got excited when a friend mentioned she was watching 'The Rite' on Facebook as part of her scary movie theme night.  What a great idea!;)  Excited to see the comment on Facebook to get some publicity maybe for Chris, even if they aren't watching it specifically for him!

How fun!  It's nice he remembered your name.  Where is RinCon held?  It would be cool to meet Tom Felton (loved him actually in Rise of the Planet of the Apes too!) and of course anyone from Lord of the Rings!  What an exciting experience!

I don't know about you guys but I'm soooo ready for Friday!

I started reading The Passage.  Its good.  However I have a hard time retaining really fast reads like that so i've had to go back through the first chapter a couple of times honestly to figure out what's been going on! I've enjoyed what I've read so far though!

Nice to see some roswell stars stepping out these days.  Especially Nick Wechsler, who played Kyle, on 'Revenge.'  That is actually a good guilty pleasure new show.

Hi-larious! I saw that one smile  I love barney!

So my sister, who's never seen Fanboys or heard of Chris.  Told me about the author Barry Lyga, who wrote Fanboys and Gothgirl, the book.  She and her boyfriend are reading another book of his called Geektastic that she said was so much fun to read.  That's three people now in my family asking me about Chris and other stuff he's been in smile  Kind of neat!  I'll definitely read the book, just started 'The Passage' so it will be after that.  This book kind of sounds like the Scott Pilgrim comics that I read last year that were hi-larious to read too.

Here is Barry Lyga's amazon website:

#600 Re: Square Eyes » James Franco Appreciation Thread » 09 Oct 11 :: 06:19

Reading entertainment news tonight I came across this news article about UK Halloween All Night movie festival.  A move with James Franco's little brother - Dave, and Mark Pellegrino called 'Bad Meat.'

A Boot Camp for troubled teens becomes a nightmarish charnel house when spoiled meat transforms the staff from sadistic fascists into something much, much worse… Get ready for spilt blood, vomit, faeces and bile – and not only on screen – in the strangest, weirdest destined-for-cult-dom gross-out in ages.
90 mins. Canada 2011 Cast: Elizabeth Harnois, Dave Franco, Mark Pellegrino, Tahj Mowry & Jessica Parker Kennedy

Sounds gruesome!

Fun to attend if I were in the UK smile
