Finally found a list of winners!  So happy for Friday Night Lites: best writer to Jason Katims!  Loved him since 'Roswell.' Am happy for Melissa McCarthy too, for "Mike & Molly."  always liked her in Gilmore Girls and hear this show is pretty good too.  I need to see "Mildred Pierce."  That was always one of my favorite movies.

Here is a list of winners:

So glad FNL won!!! So great for both Kyle and the show!  I didn't get a chance to catch it.  I haven't even had a chance to sit down to read who won yet.  sad  Busy day!  but so glad to hear of FNL.  Who else won?

Fun stuff Mel!  Great deals smile

I guess those 12 hours of sleep I got Saturday night only lasted me through Sunday.  Still so tired.  Going to bed soon!  Hope this tired spell goes away.

I've been on a Jason Segel trip recently.  I watched 'I Love You,Man' with Paul Rudd.  It was pretty good.  I liked the plot of the story actually but seemed to end rather quickly.

Anybody gonna watch tonight?  To be honest, it feels like the same emmys that were on last year, just a different host!  I will probably read the blogs tomorrow.  I like to watch for the fashion though too.  I did find this on cnn.com.  They predict 'Mad Men' will win again.  It's a good show, but I'm tired of the same shows always dominating the awards! lol!

i did actually watch Ringer.  Two things I have to say about it.  They need to fix the backdrop - really fake background, very noticeable green screen.  There were too many plots for the first episode.  It felt like two or three different shows in one episode.  But I am intrigued and will probably watch a couple more to see if the show settles down a little bit.  I was glad to see another familiar Buffy alumni and a Lost alumni too.  We'll see what happens though.  Glad to see SMG back in her element, she did do well with the characters.  That's just my opinion of what I saw!  Will keep watching...

How fun Mel! Love the name!

Saturday school wasn't too bad.  I always complain and then when I get there I usually get a lot done and have fun with the kids.  I did sleep 12 hours last night!! smile

Cats are good apartment pets.  Unfortunately my sister is deathly allergic to their fur. I can't even be around them or she will break out.

First time in 10 days I feel relaxed and there is a saturday school.  Ugh, I was there last saturday too.  I can't wait for next weekend when I have nothing on my plate.  I always complain, but then I usually get a lot of work done when I'm there on Saturdays. It's only half a day, its just hard to get motivated to go when it is your day off; technically.

very nice!

Pilot to ringer on tonight.  will probably watch both this week's episode and next week's episode next weekend.  Too many things going on to focus on a new show!  I'm excited to see SMG on air again, but a little anxious about the show to be honest!

that 10 year high school reunion was the most surreal experience ever.  It literally felt like something out of the movies.  Took a lot of courage for me to go.  Glad I went.  No one recognized me until I put my name tag on.

#640 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 10 Sep 11 :: 06:00

It was sad to see the borders 500 feet from me close too.  I bought a lot of children's books for my school library.

Didn't go to the reunion as my car wouldn't start again as I just picked it up Monday from the last time it wouldn't start.  They obviously didn't fix it right so I get to deal with that asap tomorrow morning.  There seems to be no rest for the weary.

Does sound good. He's doing soo many projects now.  Anybody catch him on general hospital?  I'm curious...

#642 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 10 Sep 11 :: 01:10

high school reunion this weekend! 10 years! Can't believe it.

#643 Re: Square Eyes » Misc Stuff » 08 Sep 11 :: 02:05

I haven't watched all of it yet.  I was reluctant too until my DVR said it was too full and was going to start erasing the episodes.  I just got through like episode 5 or something.  It's thoroughly entertaining.  I always put everything up, computer everything and just watch her!  It's hilarious.  I love the episode when they are trying to make her angry and pissed off.  I'm now watching the one where she tries to purchase medical marijuana.

everyone ready for some 'Ringer' with Sarah Michelle Gellar.  Glad she is back on tv, but anxious about the show.  They are showing the trailer way too much it seems.  That always worries me.... I'll still watch the first few episodes to see what it's like though...

is anyone witching Roseanne's Nuts on Lifetime.  It's quite hi-llarious.  I really actually admire what she is trying to do as far as her health goes.  She looks great! actually!  http://www.mylifetime.com/shows/roseannes-nuts

#646 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 07 Sep 11 :: 01:55

glad you two got to veg.  I wish I could have done more of that.  My car issues continue to exist.  It is not fun.  The dealership and AT&T customer service have to be the worst people to deal with! smile

#647 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 05 Sep 11 :: 19:10

Glad the wedding went well!!! After experiencing both siblings getting married in one month this past summer I know how dramatized weddings can be!

why is there so much stuff going on all the time.  Feel like there is never any down time.  one extreme to the other.  Either too busy, or nothing to do.

#648 Re: Chris On Screen » The Double » 05 Sep 11 :: 17:14

looking forward to this.  Finally caught the trailer!  Chris has such a good voice.  He really needs to go into the audio book industry or something!  I love martin sheen too, couldn't stop thinking about him as President Bartlett!

#649 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 04 Sep 11 :: 18:28

we have a nice cold front of about 95 degrees! ha ha.  newscasters are indeed calling it a cold front.
I took my car to the shop friday to get the lower lights fixed and Saturday my car wouldn't start.  I spent an hour and a half in 110 degree heat waiting for a tow truck.  It was not a fun day.  Nice way to start the weekend  I wasn't so much upset about the car as I was wasting two hours of my weekend waiting that could have been spent relaxing.
