Holy Cow!!! yikes
Thank God I didn't find it BEFORE I went to bed last night. LOL

On a sidenote, I just realized that I can understand Nick Cassavetes (spelling?) almost perfectly. He has a pretty clear voice, that's kinda cool, so I don't have to ask Tina constantly what he's saying. big_smile

#6706 Re: Joan of Arcadia » 2x19 Trial & Error » 05 Jan 07 :: 00:24

Haha. I so don't care about that show.

But ... they cancelled it -  That's friggin' cool!!! lol

#6707 Re: Chris On Screen » Alpha Dog (STRONG LANGUAGE & ADULT CONTENT) » 04 Jan 07 :: 20:18

Yeah, it's pretty funny. LOL
I am currently "staring" at the pictures, I think I need my drool towel. LOL

#6708 Re: Chris On Screen » The Invisible » 04 Jan 07 :: 20:13

You know what, I'll stop here. Two people against one, which is not even perfect at English, is unfair. And I still have my own opinion about being dead or not. You can't be in limbo without a being heart, because if your heart's not beating you are DEAD.

#6709 Re: Chris On Screen » Alpha Dog (STRONG LANGUAGE & ADULT CONTENT) » 04 Jan 07 :: 20:07

Okay, here are the three from Deb's mail ...

Chris_ADpremiere_24.jpg

This is kinda funny, it was about the same time last year (I guess January 2 or 3 when I found the New Year's Eve pics with the face fuzz. I was so shocked. Haha. But I have to say, today I like it. Deb's right, it makes him look grown-up (and sexy. <hides behind drool towel tongue).

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOW, those pics are FAAAAN-TASTIC!!!

Okay, that was my try to sound american. Haha. tongue
I'll post them soon but I have to read a few other emails and upload the pics first.

#6711 Re: Chris On Screen » The Invisible » 04 Jan 07 :: 19:41

I know what limbo is, I was just saying that for me someone can't be dead when his heart is still beating. Which Tina seems to see in another way. But I'm okay with that. Everybody deserves his own opinion.

Anne, it's a supernatural thriller.  Supernatural things are gonna happen.

I know that it's a supernatural thriller. I mean, I love watching supernatural stuff on TV, like Medium for example, but that doesn't stop me from having my own opinions about death. If someone can still come to life, invisible or not, he is not dead, at least for me. Accept it or not, it's your choice.

You don't need to tell me how frustrating it is that they are pushing back all the Chris movies. Look at my situation, I have to live with the crappy dubbing. If at all. roll

#6713 Re: Chris On Screen » The Invisible » 04 Jan 07 :: 01:01

Movie or not, I have my opinions. And I am not overanalyzing. Maybe you did overanalyze the photo.

I said "after Nick was killed". That's not the same as saying he's dead. Or is it? Hm. I don't know. You know what I meant. Someone kills him and after that he's somehow not alive but not really dead either. He can see everyone, but no one can see him. Kinda like in "Ghost", anyone remember that one?

What Chris said is: "You know, I play the main guy's best friend, so I play this guy for the first 45 minutes of the movie, I'm in it a bunch. And then, uh, you know, this character sort of goes off on his journey and I'm sort of included then in little bits and pieces."

Is that what you were looking for?

Or did you mean: "You know, it's this kid who dies and wakes up and finds that, you know, he's, like, dead. And it ends up that *beep* and *beep* killed him for *beeeeeeeeep*." (Important information omitted for spoiler avoiding reasons.)

The way I understood it is that Nick is killed one night, but he's not really dead, like I said. He's invisible to everyone around him, can't move objects or talk to anyone. It's like he doesn't exist. But there's this old guy who can see him and he tells him that he might be seen again if he can solve his own murder. And that's when he goes off on "his journey" to find out who killed him and hopefully bring him back to life (or at least that what he hopes it'll do). This is just speculation, but somehow I get the feeling he won't really come back to life.

-TeeJay

So if you have been "killed" by someone, you are still not really dead? Because for me I would be definitely "dead" if someone had killed me. And if he didn`t manage to kill me, I'd still be alive, visible or invisible, because I'm not a ghost because I'm not dead. Because when I am not really dead, it means that my heart is still beating, if I'd be invisible or not. And you can't be dead with a beating heart.
God, that was complicated to write in English. LOL
And yeah, I meant the second quote. I wasn't talking about how many scenes Chris had. I was talking about what his character does.

Didn't you just say the other day that you placed quality over quantity with regard to number of MB posts? wink I actually hadn't even realized I was already up to more than 900 posts. Wow. Not that I really care. I say something when I think I have something to share. Which is not to say that what I say is always relevant...

Yeah, but my life isn't as exiting as yours, so I don't have very much to post here, I guess. Nothing ever happens here ... how pathetic. roll
I tried to get Chibi back to the German section, I guess if she would post more there, I would post more, too. But well, like I said before, I rather have quality than quantity in my profile.

Yeah, me too.
Isn't Nick not dead yet when he's invisible? Because then he can't be killed, he's just invisible. Because I remember something that Chris told you in October and that was different. Ah well, I guess I'll find out when I watch the movie.

Oh, and Nick? Are you gettin' sick of people calling your movies gay? LOL! I'm sure you heard Chris's line in Just Friends, right? "Dude, The Notebook is soooooo gaaaaaay!" Which is bullstuffing, of course. It rocks!

Cool @Blow I have seen this movie some time ago. Two times, I think. And I really liked it, but I didn't know that Nick wrote it either. That's cool!

Yeah, I had some kind of "Double-Wow" Experience since I got an Email from our Irish friends too. They pay me €200 for a painting they want me to paint for them. This is so cool! big_smile

I watched a few of the clips, as far as I can see there is no new stuff there. Just the interviews (the one with Anton is pretty funny, I think) and some trailers we already know.
