lol HAAA hahaahahaha. But yes he is verrrrrrrry sexy! There is just something about a troubled young man on screen that is so hot that would be repulsive in real life.

I think casting is amazing in this show. They can all actually act and all are so hot without appearing fake. I am so glad i checked this show out Deb. Most definitely one of my favourites EVER and i havent even finished the first season. I think its brilliant. I just hope that they keep it so good. Just watched the episode last night about the racism. I really like how well that was done, but also loved "Look i know we have been going out for awhile now but we never made it official, will you be my girlfriend?" OHHHHHH so puppy dog as he says this! Love it. Also i seriously think the whole state of Texas would be in trouble if i was to ever visit. That drawl. OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH smile I think everyone should get into this show now.... Pity it doesnt have Chris on it. But i cant see him playing any of the roles they already have on the show. But there is enough eye candy to satisfy, and real acting ability. Far too many shows these days will have one or the other.

#704 Re: Square Eyes » Friday Night Lights » 14 Jun 09 :: 05:47

Yeah but im not too fussy. Street is so gorgeous too. Tim is a stunner. Love the cast. Great to watch wink Also there is something just so perfect about the opening credits. It just has a different feel to the show but it suits it so well. I dunno im just rambling

#705 Re: Square Eyes » Friday Night Lights » 14 Jun 09 :: 03:58

Im actually really loving the accent too :drool: its not quite as strong as in the movie but its just so damn sexy

#706 Re: Square Eyes » Friday Night Lights » 14 Jun 09 :: 03:50

#707 Re: Square Eyes » Friday Night Lights » 14 Jun 09 :: 03:31

#708 Re: Square Eyes » Post "stars" who you think look alike. » 14 Jun 09 :: 03:22

Ok so i guess this one is more for Deb, but i started watching the Friday Night Lights tv series and couldnt help thinking how much Coach Taylor (Kyle Chandler) looks like Ron Livingston

Wow, thanks TeeJay. This looks like it will be amazing and i think Michael Welch will really shine in this. Also cant wait for New Moon to be out either!

#710 Re: Square Eyes » Twilight (contains spoilers for all books and the movies) » 11 Jun 09 :: 08:18

Hahaha yesterday a popular radio announcer was making fun of how obsessed his girlfriend was with Twilight and then was just rambling. He hadnt read or seen twilight himself though and he starts talking about the baby on air, not realising what a HUGE spoiler that was. He got SOOO much hate mail, it was hilarious. Having read the books ages ago, I already knew but for those that had only gotten into Twilight through the movies, they were out for blood. I swear this guy is so lovable and it was so amusing just how large the response was to it. I found it amusing anyway...

Well i cheated and checked IMDB, but maybe if you posted a picture....that way its not cheating but someone might recognise his face better than his name?????? Its an option cos i could have sworn i had no idea who he was but seeing the picture i did recognise him.

#712 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 06 Jun 09 :: 04:17

Yup, obviously man made....but still thats AWESOME!!

#713 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 04 Jun 09 :: 07:40

Curious how you define yourself when people ask what religion you are though. Cos i have the same problem. I believe in God. I believe it is something that we will never be able to understand in our lifetime and something we cant relate to, cos its like trying to relate to a tree. God is not human but is so often thought of in such a way. Anyway long story short i believe in God but dont believe in religion. But the closest definition of this tends to be agnostic. But generally the reaction i get from that is "oh you havent made up your mind yet"

So noone has seen "A guide to recognising your saints"??? I actually thought that was a decent movie. Dont really have a strong opinion of LeBouf one way or another. Though i was really dissapointed with Indy 4 but it was kinda to be expected

#715 Re: Introduce Yourself » Kate's Spoiler-Free JoA Discussion Thread » 01 Jun 09 :: 14:09

Gah! I have to choose just one?? Ummm Ummm ok well i love any of the episodes with Rocky. I really enjoyed those, and the one where they grow the garden too. Love all those episodes. Well honestly i love most of them but those are the first ones to stick in my head

#716 Re: Introduce Yourself » Kate's Spoiler-Free JoA Discussion Thread » 01 Jun 09 :: 07:14

I hated/hate the OC. It was just so over the top and silly and BLEGH! And i know. Im really looking forward to being able to allow myself access to the different threads and interviews that i wasnt going to let myself see till the series was over smile

#717 Re: Square Eyes » Friday Night Lights » 01 Jun 09 :: 07:02

Well at this point in time its mostly saving up money and day dreaming, but getting closer to May 2010 (when i plan to be getting on the plane) i will have better plans of what i am doing. Will have to let you know once i have made my choice smile

#718 Re: Introduce Yourself » Kate's Spoiler-Free JoA Discussion Thread » 01 Jun 09 :: 06:57

Thats true. I dont think it was well thought out by the writers. They seemed to be looking to add some controversy and chose this an idea but it didnt really work within the characters that we had already seen. Another thing i was dissapointed in was never seeing Freidman in a proper relationship. Speaking of...did you end up sending off those interveiw questions to Aaron, Deb??

#719 Re: Square Eyes » Friday Night Lights » 01 Jun 09 :: 06:39

Well so far the plan is to be in the area somewhere between August - October 2010. Still trying to work it out abit more, but thats the plan so far. I will definitely come visit you.....you know if you let me!

#720 Re: Introduce Yourself » Kate's Spoiler-Free JoA Discussion Thread » 01 Jun 09 :: 06:22

Oh i can understand EXACTLY what you mean by the slapping of Adam and hugging of Chris. Yeah i totally agree. Both actors were so very amazing

#721 Re: Square Eyes » Friday Night Lights » 01 Jun 09 :: 06:13

Hehehe yeah it does help with a stunning cast. And cos its a sport movie, the athletic bodies too....mmmmmm....:drool:
But i totally agree. I am definitely a fan of a good sport movie. I actually really wanna go see a baseball game, football game, and ice hockey game during my travels next year. May not be able to see them all at professional level (end up costing too much) but i love the atmosphere and experience you get. And these sports just arent highly appreciated in Oz

#722 Re: Introduce Yourself » Kate's Spoiler-Free JoA Discussion Thread » 01 Jun 09 :: 05:59

I just think the whole addition of Wentworth Miller's character was handled badly for a show that was ending. It may have worked out ok if there was more episodes to follow. But i didnt like the whole good vs evil feel they were trying to do at all. I think that would have changed the whole idea of the show. As much as it was a shock that Adam cheated on Joan and it wasnt expected i still think the show handled it well. As far as i know i havent been cheated on but i know those that have and yes it usually is a shock and seems out of character. It still doesnt really make sense other than as an attempt at ratings knowing Adam's character but still i actually liked it. *DUCKS* please dont hurt me. Im just glad that they didnt have Joan going back to him after that. I cant stand when they do that. I actually think the best thing about it all was Luke and Grace's reaction to it by feeling insecure. But i actually really hated the way they had Grace act through it all. I have been in that situation where i have been friends with both sides of a relationship, this was before they were even going out. And yeah cheating was an issue, and as much as i choose to not take sides i still think she was too harsh to Joan. Thats just my opinion anyway

#723 Re: Square Eyes » Friday Night Lights » 01 Jun 09 :: 05:26

I'm sold...pity Australia doesnt seem to know it exists. Might see if i can download it. But i cant see it ever being known in Oz. We dont follow American football. Especially in Victoria, its more or less just Aussie Rules footy. But the most of the movie wasnt centrally focused around the actual sport as such...well it was but the point i am trying to make is that the attitude can be similiar to Aussie Rules for Australians. I am not from a country town, but a fairly close knit suburb anyway. My dad was coach of the local footy team for probably over 15 years. Both my brothers played too. Its been a couple of years ago now, and while the pressure and tha star status was never really there the way it was in the movie i can see where it would come from. So it interests me. I will definitely have to look into whether i can download this series....no other way for me to access it sadly

Ok my favourite photo, hands down is the Media shot. For me he was at his hottest during Graduation....ohhhh LOVED that movie!

#725 Re: Introduce Yourself » Kate's Spoiler-Free JoA Discussion Thread » 01 Jun 09 :: 04:55

I knew i would end up doing it this way. Just spent my weekend finishing off the series. I have now officially watched ALL episodes of JoA. So feel free to discuss spoilers all you want now. I really really didnt like how they ended it though. I guess from the way it was done they werent expecting to finish on that note, but still kinda frustrating to see the beginning of a storyline and have it not lead anywhere. I was surprised when they had Adam cheat on Joan. It seemed to come out of nowhere but then its kinda like that in life too. I actually think they handled it really well and it was portrayed well. Dont think they would have been able to get back to just chatting and friends as easily as they seemed to, but they kinda had to for Grace's sake. But over-all i am a fan smile I just adored the Luke character and after reading everyones list of favourite characters im actually surprised that Kevin wasnt mentioned more. Just the characters were so likeable and easy to relate to. I really enjoyed this show and im so glad you guys put me onto it. Now i get to rewatch the show.
