I have a new Chrissue of th day. It's one of my weird thoughts, but this time I'll not talk about it in public. wink

Oh yeah, quite right. big_smile

Yeah, I hope this movie will make its way to Germany, although I'm not goint to watch it in the theaters ... DUBBING! roll Or I have to find a theater that shows it English with subtitles near my home. Which I doubt, thouh. sad Ah, well, i'll wait for the DVD.

#7303 Re: Chris On Screen » Kyle Newman's Revenge of the Nerds (Remake) - CANCELED » 22 Sep 06 :: 21:06

Oh, obviously this is going to be Chris's next R-rated movie. Interesting, interesting.
And what did they say about Fanboys? Upcoming geekfest? Upcoming??? Hello, where's the trailer then??? big_smile

As for who will be in the movie, Newman says he'd like to cast some of the actors from his new movie, "Fanboys", as well as some "totally new faces".

And we know who he had in mind. big_smile

There's a little more detail.  Basically, it's a movie about a bunch of college nerds who get sick of being put-upon by the jocks and plot revenge.  The original was a huge hit and is considered a classic.  I'm not into remakes, as we all know by now.  So Chris has to possibly appear in two of them?  This and My Tutor?  That's just great.  Not.  But whatever.  If Chris is in it, I'll see it.

Ah, so it's not going to be the Star Wars persiflage. Thank God. LOL
I'm not much into remakes either, but if Chris is in it, I'll watch it. I don't know the original movie, so it's going to be classic for me.

And yeah, that Max thing sounded weird to me, too. I checked the imdb page of the original for the character names and I was like "Wow, it's Doc Green from ER!" LOL

#7306 Re: Chris On Screen » Kyle Newman's Revenge of the Nerds (Remake) - CANCELED » 22 Sep 06 :: 19:20

HUH? Since when is that there? I was on his imdb page this morning and there was no new movie listed.
I have a question: Is this some persiflage of that Star Wars movie "Revenge of the Sith"?

#7307 Re: Chris On Screen » American Gun » 22 Sep 06 :: 15:56

And please know that you'll certainly suffer from DAVIDNEEDSAHUG-Syndrome when you're finished with watching! wink

#7308 Re: Chris On Screen » American Gun » 22 Sep 06 :: 11:59

Interesting website. Some people there said, it's a Crash ripoff. I haven seen Crash yet, but I don't think so. Crash has a totally different storyline if you ask me.
You should definitely watch it, Susanna. Ok, the movie is not a masterpiece, it's the debut feature of the director, but it's still worth to watch, at least because of Chris's performance. wink

#7309 Re: All About Chris » Your Chrissues of the Day » 21 Sep 06 :: 21:43

No, of course not as Denny. I just took Denny as an example. But now that you said it ... that is a pretty good idea! big_smile
But well, Denny's dead now. sad But I still think Chris would be a VERY NICE patient on GA. big_smile

My Chrissue of the day is that I'm totally out of the (Chris) loop these days. I'm just waaaay too busy with real life stuff, and I wish it were different somehow. I mean, real life is good, but too much real life and too little obsession can't be good either, right? I wish I could just sit back and delve into Chris land for a while, but it ain't happening before middle of next week. See a very jet-laggy me and a bladder infection aftermath-riddled Deb going crazy in Atlanta. tongue

I think this is the first time that I am happy that I can't come with you. LOL Otherwise I would have had to play your nurse. Oh my god. big_smile
But then again, I am very jealous because you'll be the first who can watch American Gun in good quality ... and I have to wait until Tina has sent me my copy ... yikes

TeeJay wrote:

And I like the word "chrissifected". I think the Chrissifection is slowly being flushed out of my system. I need to catch the bug again and hope it'll last for a long time. And dare I say that I don't ever want them to develop a cure for Chrissifection?

Another Chrissue: Road Trip has been posted since last Friday and no one's left a review yet. NO ONE! Not even the trusty reviewers. I don't know if that means no one really liked it? I mean, I totally did. You too, Anne, right? I can't believe they didn't like the chapter. It was so good! I hope we're gonna get some reviews in soon. Maybe when we post the next chapter, we need to add a little comment in the author's note about there being no reviews for RT and what's up with that...

Oh God, that just made me laugh. Thanks for this, I needed it so much today. LOL

And for the record: I also want Chris in a recurring role on a TV show for more than three episode. He doesn't have to be in every episode, yeah, I could live with that. I would love something like Denny from GA. But he's not supposed to die of course. LOL
Yeah, Chris, please do that for us. smile

#7311 Re: All About Chris » Your Chrissues of the Day » 20 Sep 06 :: 13:04

I think telling them that you're very anglophil was the better solution than telling them you're ... how can I say that ... chrissifected? LOL big_smile

#7312 Re: All About Chris » If Chris Could Play Any Role... » 18 Sep 06 :: 23:49

I definitely have to check out LOTR in English. LOL I have planned this already, but did not have the time yet ...

Some Irish accent would be cool, so I could tell Matt that Chris can speak Irish English. LOL I do not exactly know what Yorkshire English sounds like, but I know some Oxford English, that would be cool too.

Tina, don't forget the toque! wink

#7313 Re: All About Chris » If Chris Could Play Any Role... » 18 Sep 06 :: 21:11

Yeah, the fact with the toque is really funny. LOL big_smile

Also, Ihr wollt wissen, wer diese Seite betreibt?

Chris as a hobbit? With his hair long, he wouldn't have needed a wig at least. LOL But I do believe he'd make a better elf, actually. He's got the pale skin thing going. But can you imagine him with straight, long (maybe blond) hair? I somehow can't. Which would make it even more interesting.

LOL That just made me laugh. No, he wouldn't have needed a wig. Definitely not. LOL
But an elf doesn't have to have blond hair. Remember Arwen? She had dark hair. But no, I can't imagine Chris with straight long hair either. That's why I would go for the hobbit. wink

#7316 Re: All About Chris » If Chris Could Play Any Role... » 18 Sep 06 :: 14:17

How about Chris as Frodo in the LOTR series? I'd totally buy him as a hobbit. big_smile Or maybe one of the elbs. Because of the ears. LOL

#7317 Re: All About Chris » If Chris Could Play Any Role... » 18 Sep 06 :: 08:58

I know that it doesn't have to be a remake, I just couldn't find a role of a recent or umpcoming movie, so I took the John Cusack remakes. Have to think about more.

#7318 Re: All About Chris » If Chris Could Play Any Role... » 17 Sep 06 :: 22:07

We had the TV show thing once on the old board, right? big_smile
So here is my list:

TV shows: Grey's Anatomy, Medium, Numb3rs, eventually Lost (I still haven't started watching it ...), and maybe one of those CSI series. Did I forget something?
Movies: Well, I'm not a big fan of remakes, but I could see him playing in remakes of some John Cusack movies, especially Serendipity and Must Love Dogs. big_smile

#7319 Re: All About Chris » Your Chrissues of the Day » 17 Sep 06 :: 20:53

Well, everything is possible. There are people who have bought their last names. LOL Ok, I don't assume that the Rodriguezes/Marquettes did this.
Or maybe they have people from Spain in their heritage.
Maybe the name Rodriguez is located somewhere else too. I don't know, I'm not a name expert, but I've already heard a few strange stories about last names and where they come from.

#7320 Re: All About Chris » Your Chrissues of the Day » 17 Sep 06 :: 17:27

Looks cool! And I just realized that it it only 16 days to his birthday ... yikes
Okay, his mom might be of polish decent, you're right, we don't know it. But I never read that anyehere, so it could also be NOT true. At least we know now that his dad is really hispanic. If we can trust wikipedia. But I don`t believe anything that is posted on an imdb board, sorry. Too many jerks there.

#7321 Re: Chris On Screen » Fanboys » 17 Sep 06 :: 17:22

But it looks cool for a T-Shirt or a sticker. I'd definitely buy it as a T-Shirt or even on a sticker.

#7322 Re: Chris On Screen » Fanboys » 17 Sep 06 :: 13:52

Wow, they really posted your collage. I just remembered that you made it, Tina. LOL

Yeah, well, I find it both a little annoying and a little amusing. But most of all, I find it embarrassing. Not for us, but mostly because this girl, however old she is (probably not even 16)

My words. Maybe that girl came over this post on imdb which said that Chris was of Polish decent. Which is, of course, a lie. But maybe she assumed he can speak Polish because of that. We should put a "We`re not official" note on the countdown page to avoid more mails like this.
Of course this is better than that trolls that diss him but we don`t know how much truth is in these mails.

#7324 Re: All About Chris » Your Chrissues of the Day » 16 Sep 06 :: 22:32

Just read the mail. I hope it helps.
I mean, it's cool to know that there are some other fans out there but does it have to be an "I love you" message? Hello people, wake up! roll

#7325 Re: Chris On Screen » Fanboys » 16 Sep 06 :: 22:28

Yeah, where is the trailer? I want it ... NOW!!! big_smile
