That was my 4000th post
*raises hand*
New(ish) trailer. Anybody wanna take bets on how many we're gonna get before the actual movie comes out? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QDvQzwK5Ks8
Another one with an unknown I'm connecting to a big name. Gage Golightly looks kind of like a young Drew Barrymore.
Made a new music video. Hurry up and watch it before YouTube deletes it. It's "Two is Better than One" by Boys Like Girls and Taylor Swift. I recommended the song over on the J/A love song thread.
My favorite's Alice. I like most of the Cullens, actually. Pretty much everyone except Rose, who grew on me during Eclipse... then annoyed me (but so did everyone else) during Breaking Dawn. And I like Bella too. Because she's me.
Well, he thought about sprinkling green M&Ms on them, but Casey would have yelled at him.
But if he knew how to cook, he wouldn't be Jason
Posted a new J/C fic. Probably could have posted it a couple days ago, but Jason and Casey wouldn't stop talking (then changing their minds).
I got Bang Ditto today. I didn't get a chance to read many of the poems, but the first one seems to be (at least partly) inspired by The Unusuals.
I still have no idea when I'm gonna see New Moon. Me and my friend Dacota are trying to figure out when we can go, since we both work retail (and are in school full time) November's gonna be a tough month for us and my boss doesn't let anyone request off in November or December. So we have no idea what date it's gonna be, so we can't pre-order tickets, but we're gonna go ASAP.
Bought this today in Wal-Mart
I've been reading the Southern Vampire Book Series (the books the show's based on) and I love them. Wal-Mart had it on sale, so I got it.
I thought she had green eyes and light brown hair. Or am I thinking of another book?
I never got very far in the book, so I'm gonna start reading it soon again. But I did picture Sprague Graden as Wanda/Mel in what I read.
Kind of connected to Twilight but not really. Stephenie Meyer's other book, The Host, is being made into a movie. http://weblogs.variety.com/bfdealmemo/2 … ml?ref=ssp
I bought the New Moon soundtrack this morning. It's much more mellow than Twilight's, which is expected. Just listening to the songs, here's where I think they're gonna fall in the movie based on the feeling of the song and the lyrics. All just guesses.
"Meet Me on the Equinox" by Death Cab For Cutie. It's this installment's "Decode" and probably won't be in until the credits. It's an awesome song though.
"Friends" by Band of Skulls. It's definitely got a Jacob feel to it, probably when they're rebuilding the motorcycles.
"Hearing Damage" by Thom Yorke. Definitely gonna be in with one of Bella's delusions, either in Port Angeles or the motorcycle riding.
"Possibility" by Lykke Li. Cliff jump. There's really no other possible place for it to go.
"A White Demon Love Song" by The Killers. Even the name screams Edward. Lyrics are about hatred for the white demon, so Jacob and Edward. Probably when he's trying to talk her out of going to Italy.
"Satellite Heart" by Anya Marina. Probably as Bella's "falling" for Jacob.
"I Belong to You" by Muse. Race to Italy.
"Roslyn" by Bon Iver & St. Vincent. Italy.
"Done All Wrong" by Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. Italy again? I don't know about this one.
"Monsters" by Hurricane Bells. Bella discovering the werewolves, probably.
"The Violet Hour" by Sea Wolf. It would probably go best in the movie/date scenes. No idea, really.
"Shooting the Moon" by Ok Go. Italy? Another one I'm stumped on.
"Slow Life" by Grizzly Bear. Bella's "zombie" stage.
"No Sound but the Wind" by Editors. Bella's "awakening".
"The Meadow" by Alexandre Desplat. The "Bella's Lullaby" of NM. It's gonna be in the meadow scene.
"Solar Midnite" by Lupe Fiasco (bonus track). This one I really don't know.
"All I Believe In" by The Magic Numbers & Amadou & Mariam (bonus track). The proposal.
"Die Fledermaus - Duettino: Ach, Ich Darf Nicht Hin Zu Dir" by AMP Orchestra. The Volturi.
It's a little spark of an idea that multiplies into a story.
Well... not really, but that's the best way I can think to describe it.
The only reason the geography bugged me is because Andy told Miranda that it was the Mon, not the Allegheny. She was right, he was wrong.
I watched Three Rivers for the first time tonight, but I only caught about half the episode cause I was working. Anyway, my opinion of it kind of parallels TeeJay's. I might be a little biased, because I wanted to see more of Pittsburgh on the screen other than crappy computer generations of the skyline. As much as I loved the references to Primanti's, Iron City, and the Steelers, it just didn't mesh well.
Like TeeJay said, I found it really unrealistic. UPMC is one of the top transplant hospitals in the world, and I'm guessing that Three Rivers is loosely based on UPMC because of the layout of the hospital, but the technology just made everything unreal to me.
And the hill that Andy lives on, I'm guessing is supposed to be Mount Washington, in which case the geography is all wrong. He said it was right across the Monongahela River I won't go into street directions and everything, but if they were looking at Mt. Washington from a right-hand angle (judging by the camera angle) and the Mon Incline wasn't visible, they would be on the Allegheny River, not the Mon. Not to mention it would be physically impossible to have a hospital smack in the middle of all the rivers without getting a majority of the patients boated in.
And now I'm done whining.
Got this today at Target
I love this song for A/J. Two Is Better Than One by Boys Like Girls featuring Taylor Swift.

According to FFN, Butterflies (PG-13) is well over 200,000 words counting author notes.
I've been signing up for NaNoWriMo for the last few years, but I never get close to 50,000. I didn't sign up last year and probably won't this year either. I don't have any ideas.
I don't think Go Nads was ever posted here. Three Story High Club is on my journal, I think.
I saw Lake Placid when I was like ten, it was on TV once and my grandma wanted to watch it cause Betty White was in it. It's a horror/comedy, but the horror was funnier than the comedy.
Really, just the poster for Grizzly Rage is hilarious to look at.
The ultimate "Thrilla in Manila". I was rooting for the Octopus.
The best thing about Zyzzyx Road is that the name is impossible to say.
