Let's see if I can watch this here. My dad's computer doesn't like videos very much.

So I come here after months of not being able to and I have to find out that Chris watches my most favorite show (next to JoA) for myself???? yikes Why didn't anyone TELL ME????

(OK yeah, I know I should come here more often, but it's just not possible because I am always so tired and the only thing I do online regularly at the moment is Facebook. *sigh* But I want to come back!)

Ok, I'll take you up on that. tongue

Oh, Pitch Perfect is one movie I'd like to see, too, but I am not sure if my OV theatre will get it. Maybe I'll wait for the DVD. I have a crush on Anna, too. wink

I am so finished with winter. I want summer again.

I knoooow! I am so excited for the Oscars now! big_smile

Originally I planned to see the movie tonight, but it turned out the theatre has been booked out and since I have to work tomorrow I didn't want to take the chance of "maybe getting a ticket because someone doesn't show up", so I'm going to try again next week. Also want to see Lincoln, which starts here on Thursday. Maybe I'll manage to see both movies on the same day.

#57 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Birthday Thread » 22 Jan 13 :: 20:48

Woooooh, thanks guys! I can't really believe I am supposed to be 30 already! I mean THIRTY? Me? Totally not! LOL

But the birthday graphic is really adorable, I love it! Thanks, TeeJay!  smile

Oh, and I just realized I missed Maria's birthday. I am so sorry about that, happy belated birthday to you, too!

#58 Re: Square Eyes » Amber Tamblyn » 13 Jan 13 :: 15:25

Waltz has been nominated for an Oscar again! Wouldn't that be great if he wins again? Then he would have won the first one before I met him and the second one after I met him in person. big_smile

#59 Re: Fan Fiction » Joan of Arcadia - Butterflies » 13 Jan 13 :: 15:22

Wow, I didn't even know about this flickr account! Looks like I know what to do next time I have more time for online stuff ...

#60 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 05 Jan 13 :: 17:55

I didn't really have any holidays, I kept working nearly every day. Really exhausting. But I was free Friday and Saturday, which was a nice treat. Have to go back on Monday. That is why I can't be online a lot lately, I have now rented a room near work because I am working the early shift now and I don't have internet in the room, only at home.

#61 Re: Square Eyes » Amber Tamblyn » 05 Jan 13 :: 17:51

Oh, thank God I'm also a Christoph Waltz and Leonardo DiCaprio fan, if I'd watch the movie just for Amber I wouldn't be satisfied, I guess. Anyway, I can't wait until the movie arrives here. It makes me remember what it was like to meet Christoph Waltz in person!

#62 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Birthday Thread » 05 Jan 13 :: 17:49

I realize this is very late, but I had hardly time for internet since Christmas. Happy VERY BELATED birthday, Deb!

#63 Re: Chris On Screen » Thule - New Short Film » 05 Jan 13 :: 17:46

I saw the movie yesterday finally! I really liked it! Chris was great, I wish it would have been longer!  wink

Oh, and BTW, something funny happened when I watched it. I kinda "recognized" the guy who played Jim Parker, but couldn't remember where I saw him until I read his name in the credits. It was Noel Fisher from the last Twilight movie. lol Looks like Twilight haunts me everywhere.  big_smile

#64 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 24 Dec 12 :: 15:57

3D is overrated anyway. Not only because I can't see it. Even if I could see it, I'd still think you don't need to make every movie you make in 3D just because you can. 2D movies are also great.

#66 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 23 Dec 12 :: 20:29

I haven't seen The Hobbit yet, but I'll see it on Wednesday. It's my last day off and probably my last chance. And I WANT to see it in the theatre at least once. The new job makes a "normal" life kinda impossible at the moment. *sigh* And I am going to see the normal version because I can't see 3D anyway.

#67 Re: Square Eyes » In Praise of Chris's Colleagues » 23 Dec 12 :: 20:28

I kinda want to start the tradition to wath Love Actually every year on Christmas, but it's no fun when you're alone every year. I mean, of course I'm not alone, I am with my family, but technically I would be, but I'd rather have a best friend to watch it with. Well, maybe next year.

#68 Re: Square Eyes » Misc Stuff » 23 Dec 12 :: 20:25

Wow, I have High Fidelity on DVD, I need to rewatch and watch for Aaron!  yikes
It's one of my favorite Cusack movies. Which reminds me, I need to expand my Cusack collection ...

#69 Re: Joan of Arcadia » Random JoA Stuff... » 23 Dec 12 :: 20:21

I miss her so much, and I didn't even know much of her work.

#70 Re: Square Eyes » Amber Tamblyn » 11 Dec 12 :: 23:42

Definitely! I love Amber on stage!

#72 Re: Square Eyes » All Things Michael Welch » 11 Dec 12 :: 17:54

I have to catch up on CSI NY, but seeing Mike is a nice treat! And I can't even remember if I have seen American Son already ... hmmmm ... maybe I'll contact my source about it.

#73 Re: Square Eyes » Amber Tamblyn » 11 Dec 12 :: 17:48

Amber on stage? I would go to every single show if I could! *sigh*

#74 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 11 Dec 12 :: 17:46

Hey guys, in case you noticed I was gone for two weeks, it's because I am currently working the late shift at my new job at this, uh, how am I going to say this ... "very well-known online mail-order-business company". I think you can guess where I work now. wink LOL Around Christmas it gets really busy because people order like crazy. It's a lot of fun, too, though and I am happy to have this job, although it means a lot of stress for me at the moment. I hope to be able to come back more often after christmas.

#75 Re: All About Chris » 12 moons of Chris? :D » 19 Nov 12 :: 11:18

Infestation is one movie I still have to buy on DVD.
