Anybody have any good father's day gift ideas? I thought about a hammock.

yup. Its been intense and dramatic but really good too.  Taught me a lot of things and i really do love my new sister-in-laws.  After this experience if and when I ever get married I just want to go to the courthouse or something.  Its too much work and drama.

So two weddings down. One more to go at the end of the month.  I do have to say my brothers lucked out big time.  I have two new great sister - in - laws. Both brothers decided to have weddings in June along with my best friend from college who just had hers today. Glad to participate in them, but I will definately be happy not to be a bridesmaid any time soon. Three in one month is fine by me!

Yeah. We were talking about how MTV is less music now and more crazy reality shows.  I remember my brothers watching it in the late 80s, non-stop. 

I actually did record Teen Wolf and watched it.  It wasn't bad actually, good fun entertainment. I'm looking forward to watching 'Falling Skies' on TNT with Noah Wylie.  Looks really good.

wedding #1 this summer went great.  My brother was the happiest I've seen him in a while.  Fiji was beautiful  I made it without getting sick or sundburned!  Hope everyone will have a good week!

GLad you liked it too Deb.  I didn't recognize that as Dave Matthews!  He was perfect for that part. All the characters were great and true to the book.  I love Kate Dicamillo, always has good messages in her books.

Now, I have the Duchess, haven't watched it yet. But looking forward to it.  Debating on what tv series to put on there next...

Yes. Ends next friday!  My first complete year teaching done.  I was hired in February of last year but I didn't really count it since it was just for 5 months of that particular school year.

I just watched Because of Winn Dixie with my students today (we read the book).  It's a really sweet story and reads pretty close to the book.  We read that and Tiger Rising (by the same author) and did a text to text comparison.  They enjoyed it.   I rated it high on netflix since they liked it so much.  If you have kids it would be a good one to watch.  Good moral themes.
