We call them Steelbook's here. I have a few in my collection.
I really check to make sure they are perfect before buying a dvd that comes in one. Especially for dents.
I have only one film in a tin box and that's the special edition of Forbidden Planet. I paid over $30 for it, but it was well worth it.
Looks kind of interesting.
That cover looks so much better than the one I found while doing a google shopping search.
I did a search on dvdempire & amazon.com and it's not available in region 1.
Someone posted Daniel Radcliff before.
I found a pic that shows a little more then I ever wanted to see of him.
So for those that like his looks, here's the pic.
From Vogue magazine.
Justin Timberlake talks about Open Road and one of his co-stars from that film.
http://moviesblog.mtv.com/2008/08/15/ju … who-is-it/
The talent, the moves, the hot girlfriends: A generation of kids want to grow up to be Justin Timberlake. But who does Justin Timberlake emulate?
Would you believe The Dude? (Or el Duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing).
"I looked at him and said 'I want to be you when I grow up!'" the former N*Sync star (and future Oscar host?) told MTV News about his "Open Road" co-star Jeff Bridges. "Just to work with someone who's been [acting] that well for so long and still to be so collaborative and into it as much as I was [was impressive]. He is, without a doubt, my favorite actor I've ever worked with. He's the best."
Hear THAT Mike Myers?
(We kid, of course. Everyone knows that Mike Myers doesn't hear anything these days because the sound of failure is so loud.)
But back to Timberlake. We've seen the 27-year-old do drama ("Black Snake Moan" and "Southland Tales") We've seen him do comedy (or something approximating comedy, anyway, in "The Love Guru.") But "Open Road," which JT stars in alongside Bridges and Kate Mara, is really the first film he's ever done that fuses the two, Timberlake said.
"It's actually my first film that's really a dramedy," the actor insisted. "It really has both elements of comedy and drama. It's kind of a slice of life type film."
In the film, Timberlake plays an estranged son of a baseball legend (Bridges) who, together, embark on a road trip across America.

Studio boss Alan Horn cited "repercussions of the writers' strike, which impacted the readiness of scripts for other films -- changing the competitive landscape for 2009 and offering new windows of opportunity that we wanted to take advantage of. We agreed the best strategy was to move Half-Blood Prince to July, where it perfectly fills the gap for a major tentpole release for mid-summer."
I wonder how many people bought this product, thinking it was really needed.

I'll probably buy the The Complete Adventure Collection since I never got around to buying the re-releases that came out right before the new film hit theaters.
I hope that the 2-disc editions artwork is similar to the Blu-ray editions.
Got my shipment from Pepsistuff.com, so all this cost me is the cost of buying Pepsi 24-packs.
Bought the Speed Racer Hallmark Christmas Ornament today. $15 plus tax.

Anton is in bottom right hand corner.
I will say that Anton doesn't look anything like Chekov at all. So far the only one that even looks like the original character is the new Spock.
They are working on the trailer, but waiting for the fx to be done on it.
Bernie Mac dies at 50
Comedian Bernie Mac died this morning in a Chicago hospital
Comedian and Chicago native Bernie Mac died early Saturday morning from complications due to pneumonia, his publicist confirmed.
Mac, 50, had been hospitalized for about a week at Northwestern Hospital, according to his spokeswoman. A few years ago, Mac disclosed that he suffered from sarcoidosis, a rare autoimmune disease that causes inflammation in tissue, most often in the lungs.

50 is so young.
I looked up his filmography on IMDB and own the following movies with him.
Ocean's Eleven
Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle
Ocean's Twelve
Guess Who
Transformers
I only know of 3 Christian Slater films.
1. Star Trek VI cameo, obvious it's not that.
2. Mobsters
3. Pump Up the Volume
I was going to guess Pump up the Volume. But I don't think that's it.
Is that Slater in the screencap?
Just thought I would post a few of the stars who I think are good looking.
Doesn't mean they are good at acting, singing or even a good person. Just that I think they are good looking.

Did you guys hear about "mantyhose"?
Pantyhose for men.
What kind of gets me is that hardly anyone made fun of a 66 year old Harrison Ford being in Indy 4. When they were making the Star Trek films with the original cast they were always making fun of how old they were on such shows as In Living Color. But they were in their 50s & 60s and Kelley was the oldest at 71 when Star Trek 6 was released.
You know what I kind of hate is Lucas always tinkering with his films. Yeah they're his films, but can't he just stop updating the fx.
Perhaps Shia has some personal demons he needs to deal with first, perhaps he's an alcoholic. There are rumors that he may be going to rehab. It seems like he's a nice enough guy and all, just that he needs to work on some personal problems.
I read the MTV Movie Blog and it doesn't really say that Shia won't be in Indy 5 at all. So there is a possibility of him being in it. Perhaps they'll spin-off the character into it's own film.
