I wish they would have had the chance to be happy together longer, without people like Roger, Bonnie, Stevie, etc to create problems or help make their problems worse. Oh well, for that there's Butterflies.
I do too even though I find myself going "Aww, poor Adam" throughout that entire episode.
I watched Recreation and State of Grace today. Adam's "I have metal studs on my boxers" kills me everytime. ![]()
Picking a favorite part is near impossible, really. The wedding, the honeymoon, the reunion, the housewarming party, "exposed", and "these things" all come to mind as stand out favorites.
I'm looking forward to more Butterflies. I have some JoA rewatching to do until then.
Chris is the coolest celeb to me. Most of the other fan websites of guy celebs have rude and obnoxious girls on them. Fangirls who just like the actor or singer just because they think their "hot". It's soo different on this board though. Everyone is really nice and intelligent.
I completely agree. I've encountered far many stupid fangirls who get angry when the star that they like dates some one, for instance. Do they expect the person to not live their life to make a few random preteens happy?
And on IMDB people try to stur up trouble just for their own entertainment, but it's not that on this board. Thank goodness. It's nice to have a place to escape from the trolls. ![]()
I once started making a list of movies or shows that I've watched that had an overabundance of Buffy or Angel characters, and let me just say, it's pure insanity. I don't recommend anyone trying it because it's never ends.
Oh and I finished reading Butterflies again (I've lost count of how many times I've been through it now). And may I just say...
I'll have to take your word on Dawson's Creek, but I noticed that there were a lot of people from Buffy. Amber Tamblyn, Armin Shimerman (He was in Trial and Error), Mageina Tovah, Kathryn Joosten, Jack Plotnick (JoA's Sammy #2), David Grammer (JoA's Carl Rove), and Wentworth Miller, just to name a few. Amber Tamblyn, Kathryn Joosten, and Wentworth Miller were all one episode major players in Buffy. David Grammer and Mageina Tovah both played minor characters. Jack Plotnick was the Deputy Mayor and Armin Shimerman was Principal Snyder.
But then again I could probably make any show look like a Buffy fest with minimal effort with the amount of time I spend on IMDB (but avoiding the message boards there).:P Okay I admit it - I'm obsessed with both shows.
I like the group one too. I can't think of a logical reason not to pick that one. :clueless: But then again, a lot of their other moves don't resemble Earth logic either.
I second the ":puke:". This poster sucks.
So, just a funny coincidence, just as my internet pulled up Probation Part 1: With A Little Help From My Friends of Butterflies, a commercial with the song came on tv. Okay, back to the rereading now. ![]()
Wow. I just realized how old school most of my favorite shows are. Reruns aren't even shown for the first three anymore.:(
Joan of Arcadia: Adam, Grace, and Joan. Adam/Joan.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Oz. Willow. Tara. Anya. Willow/Oz. Willow/Tara. Xander/Anya.
Boy Meets World: Cory, Topanga, Shawn, Eric, Mr. Feeny. Cory/Topanga.
Angel: Fred, Gunn. Fred/Gunn. Fred/Wesley.
Grey's Anatomy: Derek, Christina, Meredith.
Roseanne: David, Darlene, Roseanne. David/Darlene
Gilmore Girls: I can't pick just a few here. Lorelai/Luke, Lane/Zach, Sookie/Jackson.
Don't worry, you're not the only one. ![]()
It was just a blink and you'll miss it part in a Season 7 episode - Empty Places (as 'Crazy Citizen'). At the beginning where everyone is leaving town.
From transcript of the episode:
While Willow and Giles are talking to the officer, two other officers escort a crazy man into the police station.
CRAZY CITIZEN
(rambling to himself) A single step!
OFFICER 3
(to pedestrians) Stay on the sidewalk, folks.
CRAZY CITIZEN
A single step, and it is upon us. It is nigh! From beneath you it—
OFFICER 2
Freakin' nutcase.
The two officers take the crazy man inside the police station.
Just for fun. ![]()
From Buffy:
From Angel:

Yeah that was her. She was also in the one where Angel makes the deal and Angel stares in through the window at Connor in his new life (assuming I'm remembering the scene correctly). ![]()
By the way, apparently Connor's fake mother (after Angel's deal) was played by the same woman who played Elizabeth Rove. And the actor who played Carl was in Buffy. ![]()
I'll admit Kennedy had her good moments but I think she's more likeable in the comics. I liked Connor but I never liked Cordelia/Connor.
Supposedly Best Buy is selling a DVD of the Buffy Reunion at Paley Fest, in case anyone's interested.
I know, I know, how can I be a fan of Willow & Oz and Willow & Tara? Easy. Alyson Hannigan was my favorite person on the show and she pulled off both relationships beautifully. Big Spike fan too, but not so much a fan of Spuffy. And I liked Angel much better on his own show.
I'm with you on this. However, I'm more of a shipper for Willow/Oz than Willow/Tara just because Seth Green was great in that part. But how could anyone not like Tara? And Willow/Tara? I don't know how anyone could watch them and not root for them.
Can't say I'm a big Kennedy fan, though.
I really didn't like Spuffy in the slightest until 7th season and even after I wouldn't consider myself a Spuffy fan. And Angel really was better on his own show.
I don't think that I've read that one. How'd that happen? :oI'm going to have to read that one.
I really must agree with you about Seth Green. He and Chris are both really talented and somehow I end up loving everything I've ever seen either of them in.
More than that? Wow.
I can't wait to read how it all goes! And I don't think I have to tell to you to have fun because I'm sure you will!
I really agree. IMDB has some of the rudest people and don't get me started on the Buffy MB. You get flamed whenever you mention anything that isn't an argument of who Buffy loves more; Angel or Spike. ![]()
I agree. I just couldn't find a non-slicked back James Marsters picture for some reason and forgot to look for Nicholas.
And order to get my mind off Eric Balfour (:embarrassed:) I'll go on to some of my picks. I think this makes it obvious what show I watch far too much.
Marc Blucas.
Seth Green.
David Boreanaz.
The fanfic that I mentioned in JoA: Sci-Fi thread. It's an extremely short drabble featuring a rewritten scene from Independence Day.
I have one on fanfiction.net. If you want the link, I'll send you it.
I have a bad habit of not finishing fanfiction so I don't really post them often (ever, really).
Sure have. I wouldn't miss out on the A/J goodness.
