Looks really great! I remember when this happened.  Do you know if  it's based on Aron Rolston?  The one that was trapped in a crevace in Utah?  Here is his book from amzon: http://www.amazon.com/Between-Rock-Hard … 0743492811.  I haven't read the book, but seen him on some interviews, his story is truly amazing. gives you chills.

So is Saturday schoo like a regular school day? That really sucks.

CappuGirl: what's the worst winter you've ever seen in Finland?  Here, we get an inch of ice on the roads and they close down the city!:lol:
How long do your winters last?

Deb: Saturday school is half a day. Its not too bad, but in May its every saturday for TAKS practice.  Its mainly for 3rd-12th grade.  Its kind of nice because I get to tutor fourth grade, which is a nice change of pace from kinder.  It just makes the work week hard not having two days off. Especially dealing with kindergartners. It can be draining, but I like it!  I'd rather be working hard than not working at all.

Hope everyone had a good weekend!

An adam rove bobble head would be awesome! I love Joe's though! I enjoyed seeing the three of them together again. I wish there were more scenes with them all together though.

#1006 Re: Chris On Screen » The Girl Next Door (ADULT LANGUAGE!!!) » 11 Oct 10 :: 19:17

I loved watching this again over the weekend! So great smile  I watched it twice! Those three should do another movie together!  The movie on demand is the unrated version.

#1007 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 10 Oct 10 :: 17:57

If it helps  We have saturday school next week so even having monday off its still a five day work week.  Better than a six day work week, those kill me.

#1008 Re: Square Eyes » Supernatural » 10 Oct 10 :: 17:53

Supernatural is a great show.  been a fan since season 1! I love the amber benson episode. I also love the episode "roadkill' with Tricia Helfer from Battleestar Galactica.  I think my favorite seasons are 2 & 3.  I think Chris would make a great sidekick angel to Castiel.  smile

Very cool sig indeed icclenomi.  What software do you use? I've been wanting to learn how to do signatures and stuff for a while if anyone has any tips.

Three day weekend and no plans.  What is everyone up to? Any suggestions?

#1010 Re: Chris On Screen » The Girl Next Door (ADULT LANGUAGE!!!) » 10 Oct 10 :: 02:23

This movie is on video on demand on at&t if you have it:) I think it was $2.00 to rent.  Pretty cool smile

Looks really great.  Love the images.  Excited to see it!

#1012 Re: Square Eyes » The Social Network » 09 Oct 10 :: 20:26

Samsy: I would  honestly see the Social Network in theaters over Eat, Pray, Love.  Visually Social Network is more exciting to watch on the big screen than Eat Pray Love.   Eat Pray Love was good, but you could wait for it on dvd and I enjoyed the book more than the movie.  I hope your foot gets better soon!

#1013 Re: Square Eyes » The Social Network » 03 Oct 10 :: 02:32

Definately a great movie!  Recommend it for anyone interested! Combination of Aaron Sorkin's writing and David Fincher directing plus a great ensemble cast, made out to be a really entertaining and interesting movie.

#1014 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Road Trippin' » 01 Oct 10 :: 06:44

Anyone have recommendations for road trips in Texas during November?  We are trying to think outside the box, not go to the usual hot spots.

#1015 Re: Square Eyes » The Social Network » 01 Oct 10 :: 06:42

Yes, the two are quite similar.  It's a tough call on who I like more, but I think as far as movies go - Jesse has been in more movies that I like.  I like Cera too, but I prefer the comedies and movies that Eisenberg does.  Although loved Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.  Think its Cera's best one yet besieds Arrested Development.

I'm excited to see this tomorrow. Lets hope expectations are met - I feel like I've seen previews and interviews so much that almost makes me concerned you know?  It does have a 98% though on rottentomatoes.com which is pretty awesome!

I'm definitely down.  It's a Trigger Street movie, too.  Just like Fanboys.  This movie is so Chris-adjacent it kind of pisses me off that he's not in it.  But I still wanna see it.  Mainly because Mark Zuckerberg doesn't want us to.

:lol:I hear ya Deb!  It's kind of rediculous. Plus the fact that Zuckerberg just gave $3million to the charter school program in New Jersey that's in the New "Waiting for Superman" documentary about the SEED schools.  Both this movie and "Waiting for Superman" come out this weekend.

I didn't think about the Trigger Street connections but your soo right. It is kind of frusterating.

Starring Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield, Justin Timberlake, Rashida Jones, directed by David Fincher and written by Aaron Sorkin.  It's about the founders of facebook - but not really a true story.  http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1285016/

Still seems interesting. I love David Fincher and Jesse Eisenberg so I'm definately interested in this movie.  It's gotten alot of press so I wasn't sure how others were feeling about it! Any takers?

Love it! Just added this to my backdrop lol like the short hair.

#1020 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 23 Sep 10 :: 01:18

Sorry to hear about that Samsy!  Like  you said, at least you got an extra day!   I love England, spent a semester in Lancaster, where are you going?

First year teaching is like walking through a dark tunnell.  I love what I do every day but besides that I feel like a fish out of water even though I took 23 hours of teaching classes, a semester of student teaching, and over six years tutoring/teaching experience.  The end of the quarter is comming up I have no clue how to record my grades! Its kind of funny when you think about it!

the pilot's already started! ? Can't believe I missed it!  Will definately look into it.

#1022 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 22 Sep 10 :: 01:05

It's already felt like a week! Still have a lot left to do plus teaching saturday school. sad  But today did go alot easier than yesterday.  Lets hope the trend continues!

Hope everyone's week gets better!

#1024 Re: Square Eyes » Amber Tamblyn » 20 Sep 10 :: 04:12

Kind of related to Amber and her co-star Jeremy Renner from the Unusuals.  Saw him in "the Town." its really great and his performance I thought was awesome.  Actually liked him better in this than the Hurt Locker personally!  Definately recommend it for those that liked the Unusuals! wink
