You most be pretty good looking guy, Illinois. You are obviously dazzling those poor cashiers when they all keep making those mistakes with your purchases! ![]()
I hate it how cheap you get your gas.. It's been around 2euros per liter here for a long time.. so.. I'm too tired to count it down to gallons and dollars but I read an article a while back that we have just about the most expensive gas in all of World..
Huge taxes on it so people would get more invoromental or whatnot..
I too saved some money yesterday. I was buying some traintickets for me and my daughter. As singles they would have cost nearly 70 euros but we got a family ticket so it ended up less that 50.
I was pretty shocked by the price. I'll never get used to how much it costs to travel by train now (too). It isn't even a long trip and it costs the same as if I flew to Helsinki... Even flying can be cheaper now if one buys the ticket at an appropreate time. One time JTT flew to Helsinki (about 600-700 km) and it cost only 20 euros.
So... I got so embarrassed about bugging you with all my thoughts I started a new blog. Thanks, Anne, for mentioning Livejournal. I've been looking for a nice blogging place... So it's http://howlingfin.livejournal.com/ if you are actually interested in my rambling...
I'll try to keep my posts here more composed now. ![]()
Oh yay, the DVD is out.
Better check play.com sometime soon. ![]()
That wasn't even all that happened to me today.. But I'll spare you from ALL of it. I just wanted to mention one more thing. JTT had to leave for a work-related trip for two and a half days. He just might get back home before we leave in the train friday. So no kisses and stuff
for five days.. Miss him already. And the boys drive me nuts when JTT isn't at home at evenings. It's so weird so the boys get an extra energy burst. So even more reason for me to get just a tiny little brake from all they crazyness for the weekend...
Hope you don't think any less of me :embarrassed:
Well it still snowed today. And there was a really strong wind. So practically a snowstorm. I couldn't stay at home. I promised my friend Anne that I'll go out to lunch with her to our new shopping mall. So at first I drove the boys to JTT's mom and left the car there since Anne picked me up there. Then we were off. Maybe we should have taken our car. Her's was worse in the storm than mine. And she likes to smoke and talk in the phone while driving. So I was pretty terrified.
But we made it anyways. The food was edable but I wouldn't say five stars. It was a fast food place anyway. All you can eat. So I had some lasagna, pizza and sallad. Their chicken wings were so bad I couldn't eat them. creasy on the surface, dry in the inside, not enough spices. I wanted to taste the soup too but No more room. Now I know what to eat there next time I'll go. Leave the creasy stuff off, just sallad and soup for me. Maybe some pizza but the rest was really bad..
Then we were off and admired the mall a bit. It looks really great. The bathrooms were the most beautiful public restrooms I've ever seen.
Then I went and bought a birthday present for JTT's mom. She's been so wonderful lately. Lots of babysitting. I wanted to reward her. I love it how easy it is to buy presents for her. We have such similar taste.
Next we had to go back to the storm and drive to the train station so I could buy some tickets for the weekend. I'm leaving to visit my other friend with my daughter. So you probably get a cappugirl-free weekend. Hurray for that, right?
Aren't you just a little bit happy to get some freetime from all this mindless rambling? ![]()
One more sidenote. I dyed my hair this morning. Finally I got just the right kind of red hair I've always wanted. Nice, dark red. So when the wind blew really hard it was flying around my head. I had a funny thought maybe it looked like my head was on fire.
My hair smells good too since it was my favorite dye Loreal casting. The conditioner is great in those..
Err... Can you tell I stoped writing my blog? I'm blabbering here about my days as if anyone really cares.. :embarrassed: Sorry...
Yay, I found some more reading!
Do you already know this? Twilight fanficsite: http://twilighted.net
I've never tried but seems I can do it half way. I know a way I could manipulate my fingers to do it. After a while I wouldn't need the aid anymore, I think. I've got this other thing I can do with all my fingers that apparently not everyone can do. I saw some boys do it at school when I was on 8th grade. They were competing who can do it best. One of them was my on-off-crush so I went ahead and tried it and after few tries I could do it with all the fingers. The boys could do it with just one finger. ![]()
I saw a Start trek trailer today on FB's Flixter. Looks pretty good. I think I wanna see it. And not just because it has few of my favorite actors. ![]()
I think I'll watch this one if I ever happen to come across it. I haven't seen Shia in a lot of roles, but the little I have, I like him. And I did think he was a bit of a turn-on for me in the Transformer-movie.
:embarrassed:
I have to add, I love how Illinois always tells us about the DVD releases!
Thanks!
So yeah, I'm back from the store. How exciting to drive on the icy roads in the dark.
God, I hate the ruts on the road. One truck was trying to stay off them so hard he was hogging half of my side of the road when he came from the opposite direction. Once again I get to say: hurray for fast reflexses.
Everyday you learn something new. Today it was: I can totally fit Nissan Primera Wagon in the most narrow space I've ever seen.
I bought a lot of groceries. For the weekend too. I'm going to visit a friend few houdred kilometers south from here with just my daughter. First time ever JTT has to cope with the boys alone for two and a half day. I was thinking I'll make home baked pizza for lounch friday so they can eat that for day or two and then some easy foods JTT can cook. He rolled his eyes for me and moped: "you most think I'm totally helpless in the kitchen. I can cook you know?!"
Yeah I know he used to. Probably still can. He tought me a few things when we first started out. But I thought he might wanna be a bit lazy this weekend. Rough week at work for him. He's in the sauna now. I think I'm gonna rub his shoulders when he comes off. He looks so exhousted... Poor thing.. Lets see if I can keep my hands off his abs or am I gonna drive him nuts...
Seems like Anne and I are in the same page when it comes to november. I've always hated it. Too dark. And in this town, not even the northern lights to bright my evenings... This year I seem to be raising our electricity bill. I have too much lights on in the mornings and evenings and listen to a lot of music to cheer my self up. I've always suffered from polar night blues. Month from now it's only couple of hours of sun in a day around here. Just few hundred kilometers north and there's no sun at all for days. But they have the northern lights anyway, lucky bastards.
Snow, snow, snow.. It's been falling off the sky all day. Really big fluffy pieces, really slow. Like in a christmas movie. So even if it snowed all day there's just about an inch of new snow on the ground. No need to go remove it from the driveway just yet.. Looks really nice but the kids are all wet when they come inside. So wet, wet, wet everywhere. Blah.. Well, it makes the kids so happy I can't really mope. ![]()
How ever, I'm gonna be feeling pretty crappy an hour from now if JTT don't finally come off work soon. That means I'll have to take all the kids with me to buy groceries and that's just purgatory for me. Pure pain for the nerves... Oh yay, he came just in.
I'm off by my self. What a bliss. ![]()
Really? Five lines? And the others even less?
Dumb..
I'm way too anxious to see the film. I actually looked for torrents. I have to wait till january before it gets anywhere near enough. Crap. Even if I'll find a torrent I'm going to the theater in town when it comes so I don't really consider a bad crime now.. Just the mother of all spoilers to watch a crappy version that someone recorded in a theater with screaming girls spoiling all the lines and big dark shadows covering half the screen.
That's what it would probably look like, right?
I like MysteryTwilightVoice's Twilight-songs! ![]()
I was suprised about Esme's actress too.
I had this annoying little voice nagging in my head that she looks a bit formilliar but I couldn't place her anywhere. And I can honestly say I've never heard of Peter Faccinelli but I'm sure I most have seen some of his work in the past anyway.
I'm feeling very ashamed of my self lately going all teen-crushing over the actors in Twilight.. :embarrassed: One after another they take pieces of my heart.. Now I must say, I like all the males pretty damn cute and sexy..I keep falling for them all the more interviews I see.. How come I never before noticed these cuties that have the greatest smiles in the world? ![]()
And I can't help my self even if I know that Taylor is illegal for me to drool over!:embarrassed: Well, I can't help myself.. Twilight makes me feel like I'm 17!
Love his talents and smile.. His talents.. Have you seen the youtube videos of him doing martial arts?! Someone should cast him in the next Jet Li-movie!
And OMJ (yes: J!) these are the most patiente people I've ever seen!
I'd gone nuts standing middle of those screaming girls that ruin every damn interview...
Um, yeah. And here's a link to scifi.com's Twilight review. Pretty good. http://www.scifi.com/sfw/screen/sfw19837.html
Now excuse me, I'll have to go stare at some of Chris' pics to cure a little of this Twilight madness.. He's legal to drool over... ![]()
Jamie Bell was great in Jumper. I've gotta see that one again. ![]()
I have to admite, I stoped in the middle when I was watching Brokeback.. :embarrassed: I know it's supposed to be really great and all but it was just so damn slow I couldn't concentrate.. I'll try that again sometime...
I'm sure as kids most of liked the snow. Playing in it, making snow angels, having snow-ball fights, building forts and other things.
But as adults some of us hate it. I don't like driving in it, shoveling it or just being out in it. But I like looking at it and how it makes everything look so beautiful.
Couldn't agree with you more. I'm just that kind of adult.
And my kids are just that kind of kids.
They love snow. They could play for hours in it and then they eat it like it's icecream no matter how many millions of times I've told them not to. For few years now I've been telling them I won't be buying any icecream if they eat the snow but apparently snow tastes better than icecream!
LOL, about those 'snowdays' you have over there.. Every freaking year when there's news like that - I mean "american kids get the day off thanks to snow"; "traffic has gone nuts because of snow" - everybody I know (fins) are laughing and saying "geez a little bit of snow and people forget how to drive and go to school". Sorry.. :embarrassed:
Needless to say, I never got the day of because of snow and I'll bet we've had it worse than you. Especially where I grew up. And the cold was worse too. I remember one winter when I was 14 it was -50 degrees celsius (-58 Fahrenheit) in some days. And that was the winter I (dumbass) decided to make a fashion statement out of not wearing a hat everytime I went out... :applause: :embarrassed: And also wear shoes where I couldn't fit on more than one pair of socks and kept getting my gloves lost. So yay, thanks to that I've got these troubles with my fingers and toes... :witsend: Oh, if I could go back in time just once.... I'd slap the 14 year old me in the face.. and tell her not to go with certain boys "in the future". :silly:
Oh, I was a bit too hasty when I post my earlier post. I hadn't look outside yet.
Well, it actually snowed some more last night and looks kinda like that TeeJay's picture now. Pretty but wetty..
And I actually had to drive in it all. The roads were icy and snow was still just sitting there. There were these ruts in the road and all. So basicly all the challenges winter can offer us while driving a car. And I had no trouble what so ever to stay on road!
:D Can I just say I'm really really proud of my self?!!! :dancing: I even had to take the most difficult route there is to go from place A to B to C and back to B and A.
I really don't care if you slapped me in the face right now for beeing so selfish and gloding. I have so little things I can be proud of my self now days, I wouldn't care if you through a snowball at me!
And so I started revamping Twilight last night... First five chapters and then it hit midnight and I had to stop. And right away it made an effect on my insomnia making it worse. I was seriously thinking of waking up JTT so he'd do things to me that would relax me... ![]()
In Facebook there was this one Twilight group that had a video someone recorded in a movie theater. It was the baseball-scene. Funny thing it showed it ok on that page but when I clicked the video to go to youtube for it (so I could link you the video), it said there it was taken off. Just as well. I hate when people record in theater. The movie looked so good I can't wait to see it. I still haven't. They're not showing it in the nearest city in Sweden yet. I'd have to take a roadtrip to see it and I don't have the time or money for a roadtrip now...
I already have little trip planned next weekend and I'm going to the opposite direction to visit a friend. And then it's the partyseason (see randomness-thread)...
Whoa! Even Germany has more snow than our little town! Tornio is beeing a weirdo this year. I feel like I live in Forks
It's been mostly cloudy and rainy all year up till now. And still is. We had a little snow a week ago or so but most of it melt off. Now there's just this see-thru-layer of snow on the ground that looks dirty. It's weird since there's lots of snow north from us and south from us. Even Helsinki has more snow than us and it rarely snows in Helsinki. Well, I don't mind. I'm not a big fan of snow. It just makes a huge mess and melts in your socks...
Time sure flies!
It's almost december again... I'm starting to get the stress-sores on my belly.. Soon it will be the partyseason for us.
I've gotta through a party every freaking weekend for over a month! I wish one of the kids would had been born some other time of year... and then there's the Christmas and new year between S and R's bds...
Mike is so cute, I'd probably smile like an idiot next to him... :embarrassed:
Time sure flies. ![]()
Whoa!
Am I seeing things or did it look like he had a crush on her?
I picked up that vibe earlier when he was asked about Marbles in another interview. Now in those videos I felt the vibe stronger. Mike looked like he wanted to know her better and really comfortable talking with her. He was a little shy at some moments. It was cute.
Sorry, of course we are supposed to be polite enough not to talk about anyone's personal life and raise rumours.... :embarrassed: Deb, TJ, Anne.. feel free to delete this if you think I'm crossing any borders here...
Oh, so sad.
Poor kid. Poor you. I feel horrible for all of you. *hug*
I always cry when I see in the news that a child is dead or has lost his/her parent... Well, just one of the things that makes me cry when no-one is around to see.. Up 'till now I've only lost some old people taht were expected to go soon. It was pretty tough to lose JTT's dad couple of years back. He was just 50. First time ever I sobbed openly in his funeral. Sweetest grandpa ever to my kids. I got lycky with the in-laws. Great people.. Miss him so bad... JTT fell to pieces infront of me when he got the call that he had passed unecpected. All I could do was to hold him.. Then I was terrified he was gonna drive off the road when he left to his parent's place just after he had cried for a while..Sad memories..
Ryan Seacrest is a twiguy!
