That's one I really want to see.  Would've gone last weekend, but decided to stay home and focus on Polly.  The movie will still be there this coming weekend.  It's kicking ass at the box office.

Thanks Lindsey.  Looks like we might be saying good bye tomorrow.  She's really bad.

We had a nice day Saturday.  She ate a little and we went and lounged in the setting sun on a blanket in her favorite park.

Bates Motel is an A&E summer show.  It might be on Netflix by now.

I loved the first season of Bates Motel.  It's brilliant.

#155 Re: Square Eyes » Amber Tamblyn » 05 Oct 13 :: 06:10

I think that's because everyone on the show puts him down constantly.  You kinda start believing the hype that he's a worthless clod.  Maybe it helps to be a Duckie Dale fan?  I dunno.

I wonder how many Dorquettes you can fit in one hotel room.  Wow.  Wouldn't it wig him our if a bunch of fangirls showed up to cheer him on at the con?

Last night's ep was really cute.  But I couldn't help having Kelso flashbacks when Walden was stoned.   lol    ]:D

#158 Re: All About Chris » Miscellaneous Stuff » 05 Oct 13 :: 04:31

Maybe, Leah.  I used to have family there.  Wish they still loved there so I could crash with them and save some dough.  Maybe Lindsey will put us all up at her place.  tongue

Awesome graphic!  Thanks for making that and sharing it.

#160 Re: All About Chris » Miscellaneous Stuff » 04 Oct 13 :: 04:40

I would totally go if I could afford it.  I'm pretty sure I'm about to have all of my emergency cash wiped out by Polly's final expenses.  The donations are gone as of yesterday.  Over $1200 to learn that there is nothing they can do.  In just a few short months, my heart's completely ripped out and any my already ridiculously meager finances are about to be shot.  Sorry, didn't mean to harsh the buzz.  It'd be a riot.  I'd love to go, but I won't see how.

#161 Re: Chris On Screen » The Odd Way Home » 04 Oct 13 :: 00:48

Shoot, I would totally do that if I could!

#162 Re: Chris On Screen » 10 Rules for Sleeping Around » 03 Oct 13 :: 02:40

I think the difference is that it's not an ambitious failure, like say The Double.  It's very low rent and amateurish.  Not even film school, first feature, zero budget indie kind of amateur.  Those movies are MILES ahead of this thing.  It's more like they had a little dough from investors that know nothing about movies and just slapped something together.  Like those really bad straight to video cheesefests of the late 80's and early 90's.  Sad.  But he is pretty adorable in it.  So there's that.

Thanks, Anne.  We got confirmation today that it is carcinoma and it's everywhere.   There's nothing they can do but give her meds to keep her comfortable until it's time.  As you imagine, I'm pretty much destroyed.

Guys, Polly is very, very sick.  She's been diagnosed with an inoperable mass.  We're going to see a specialist tomorrow.  Please send thoughts, prayers, energy, whatever you believe in.  She's only been with me for 13 months.  I'm not ready to let her go!   8.(

TVLINE: | You’re making your Two and a Half Men debut on the 10th anniversary of Joan of Arcadia’s premiere. Kismet?
AMBER: Oh my God, is that true?! Wow….

TVLINE: | In 10 years, you’ve gone from channeling gods to raising hell — is that one way to put it?
AMBER: I think you just found the title of your article.

I thought it was really good too.  And Chris's scenes kick ass.

#169 Re: Chris On Screen » Kilimanjaro » 01 Oct 13 :: 02:46

Wow, wouldn't that be cool?  We'll track him down if he ever does, Mel.  You in?

Damn, that's fantastic!  I know you're completely over the moon and will be riding that high for a while!  I look forward to reading more of the details in whatever you write up.   big_smile

I know she hates it because of the way it was cut. but her performance is AMAZING.  It's worth seeing just for that.  Personally, I really liked the movie.  It's very different and the kids are all very good in their roles.

This is really cool.  This guy blogs about "Beautiful Stills from Beautiful Films".  He just posted LDW.

Closest is Wendy in Normal Adolescent Behavior, actually.  But yeah, she's great.  I'm so surprised.  And she looks great too.

#174 Re: Chris On Screen » Kilimanjaro » 28 Sep 13 :: 18:46

He did and I wish we'd known.  Someone needs to teach him to proactively use Twitter & Facebook to rally his troops.

Stunningly, Amber on Two & A Half Men is not bad at all.  With all he horrible people gone, the new core cast is pretty damn good together.  And they have got her all tarted up, with her boobs popping out of her top.  So I ain't complainin'.   tongue
