I haven't seen any of this season's episodes yet. I got spoiled from seasons 1 & 2 where you had several opportunities to see all the episodes because they reaired them. Also, I was sick of all the BS from that Isaiah Washington mess.
I think I'm gonna try and catch up online.
I just read it. Veery nice. Sometimes it's great to pretend that they never broke up and a lot of the angst didn't happen.
By "schmaltzy" you mean sentimental and not chicken fat, right?:D
I thought you did dinner. Or was that darkness?
...His pants would suddenly disappear!...
Years ago Erica Jong used to call this phenomenon the Zipless F.... Well, never mind.
Wonderful story.
LOVE the new one, Laura. Happy Halloween!
That was the one good thing about being without internet access was knowing I'd have a stockpile of Laura stories when I could finally get back on!
I liked it veeery much! (And it's excruciating, so I'll keep my typo trap shut for at least a week. I was a good speller before they invented spell check.)
Okay, I know it's been nearly a week. (I've been without internet access for awhile). But did anyone notice that the first patient to allow the midwife to visit "Lady Town" was..............
Cafeteria Lady GOD???
:embarrassed::D
How is the new job going?
Beautiful, Laura. Brava!
Welcome, Dacota!
The actor who played Roger was on another of my favorite shows: "Ed". "Ed" was about a lawyer who owned a bowling alley.
So I've decided that, not only is Roger a creepy potential child molester, I'm also pretty sure he stole all those bowling shirts.:D
I think he's a pretty good actor, because I don't think I was supposed to like him. And I didn't.
I think it'll be airing at least 4 times over the next few days. I can a copy for anyone who wants one.
I got it! Very, very nice. Thanks so much, TeeJay. (Thanks for the fig leaf, too. It was the biggest laugh I had all day. And it was a pretty hilarious day.:D)
I'd definitely love to have the link, if it's not too much trouble. Thanks!
Nothing yet, but me email is sloooow. Thanks for trying. I'll let you know when it shows up.
Thanks, guys! I really appreciate it.
It sure did.
When they're on their honeymoon, Adam and Joan can send postcards that say, "Having a good time. Vishnu were here.":D
Edit: No. I just followed the link Laura posted and saved that.
Looks enough like them for my imagination. Just like that beautiful naked guy drawing I have that looks enough like Adam to fuel smut fic. I should send you that one Laura...
Aw, come on! Just paste a fig leaf on him and post it!
(A good-sized fig leaf, of course...)
Yeah. He just pulled off what "Fat Tony" wasn't ever able to do. Well done, Adam.
That was a good one! Grace thought something was wrong (with Joan, maybe?) because of Adam's expression. But he was only concerned about the name Tallulah. Too cute.
She sure is! I know it was about an hour that she hung around talking to us. Her attitude was that those people had come to see her and that she wasn't going to be anything but cordial and appreciative. I hadn't brought a camera (I always believe them when they say not to bring cameras or they'll be confiscated. Psych!), but we talked about Arkansas for a few minutes. (Both of my parents are from there.) We didn't know any of the same people, but we knew some of the same families. She is just as sweet and unaffected as she can be.
They're good pictures. The first one is kind of funny because there is someone behind TeeJay and it makes it look like her hair has grown a foot. Sorry about your cold. I'm glad you got home okay.
Yeah, you can see the resemblance between Charlie and his dad.
I didn't really meet her but once at a taping of Politically Incorrect, Mary Steenbergen was one of the panelists. After the taping she stayed and shook hands and posed for pictures with any audience who stayed around to see her. All the other panelists (including Bill Maher) high-tailed it right out of there. REALLY nice lady!
I've seen pictures of Lilly. She is beautiful! I wondered if a certain ex-nun character was named Lilly because it's Mary Steenbergen's daughter's name.
(I briefly wondered the same thing about Amber Tamblyn's mother, Bonnie. But then I shuddered and tried to think of something else, quickly!)
And speaking of shuddering: Caligula!
I could never get into Malcolm McDowell because the first movie of his I ever saw was Clockwork Orange. I've been a fan of her's since "Melvin and Howard" and I also loved Time After Time.
