Out of Print 10th Ann. Edition
Another Out of Print DVD
$3 each for never opened DVDs is a great deal.
New Pretty Woman on Amazon.com $12.59
New Miracle on 34th Street on Amazon.com $5.92
I bought the Playmates Enterprise from the new movie. Paid $30 for it.
It's really cool.
The lights & sound effects are really neat. The sound is a little loud.
The ship itself is smaller than I expected.
As someone who grew up in the 70's and was a teen during the 80's I really remember Tom Baker as Doctor Who. Still is my favorite Dr.
I used to watch Dr. Who on Channel 11 (PBS) on the weekends back then.

Austin, TX Fans Given Surprise Showing of ENTIRE Star Trek Movie
Tonight Paramount pulled off one of the coolest stunts in fan history. Promoted as just a 10 minute preview of the new Star Trek to show along with The Wrath of Khan, tonight fans in Austin, TX were actually shown the entire new Star Trek movie (hours ahead of the gala world premiere in Sydney, Australia). The event included surprise guests, including the original Spock himself, Leonard Nimoy.
Surprise!
According to our man on the scene, the evening started off normally at the Fantastic Fest Star Trek event at the Alamo Draughthouse Theater in Austin, Texas on Monday night. Star Trek filmmakers Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman and Damon Lindelof kicked things off by telling the crowd of around 200, that they would be seeing the Star Trek preview after Wrath of Khan. Two minutes in to the showing of TWOK, the film appeared to have 'melted' and the guys came back out on the stage and appeared to be stalling for time while the film was fixed…and then, wearing a ball cap, Leonard Nimoy came out in front of the audience holding a film can.Nimoy noted to the crowd that it just didn't seem fair that people in Australia were the fist to see the film and asked them "wouldn't you rather see the new movie?" And apparently the crowd went wild. After that they showed the entire new Star Trek movie. Nimoy stayed for the entire event as did Orci, Kurtzman and Lindelof.
According to a friend who called in to TrekMovie after the event, the audience reaction was positive. There were "genuine laughs" at the jokes and "quiet moments" with the serious character stuff. And apparently the crowd applauded at the introduction to each character.
TrekMovie will update this article with images from the event, but it just ended a few mimutes ago. Here is a picture sent to TwitPic by Neil Miller of FilmSchoolRejects.com.

Guess what came back?
Snow.
Yup got snow overnight, about an inch or so. Nothing major. Nothing we can't deal with up here.
At least it's not the blizzard they got out west.
Winter really doesn't want to let go this year.
That even sounds worse to me.
To each their own I guess.
When I was a kid I used to eat Head Cheese lunchmeat. That was until I read what was in it and that was that. I haven't touched it since.
Latest weather forecast.
1 to 2 inches of snow tomorrow.
While it's not unheard of, it is unusual to have it so late.
We used to get snow back in the 70's in April. But for the past 2 decades or so we haven't really got much snow in April at all. Perhaps flurries at night, but that's about it.
Once in a while, you just get a bad franchise location. Corporate stores adhere to very specific guidelines, but franchise stores often cut corners. We have a bad Popeyes location here. They're always out of something, usually whatever's on special. Like wings, or butterfly shrimp. You can't go there with anything specific in mind because that'll be the thing they're out of. Once, they were out of ketchup. Ketchup! How can you run a fast food restaurant that serves fries and let the place run out of ketchup? It's ridiculous. That was the last time we went there. We've completely sworn that location off. I go to two other Popeyes locations occasionally and they're perfect.
You think that's bad??
Years ago I went to a KFC to buy a bucket of chicken. Long line and when I got up there I placed an order to only find out that they were out of chicken.
Not that they were cooking it and I would have to wait, no they were completely out of chicken.
I would have thought that the least the manager could have done was give people a coupon for the trouble. But nope, nothing at all.
Not to pick on you, but I can't stand ketchup on fries.
The strange thing is that when I was a kid I would put ketchup on eggs in the morning.
My brother dips his fries in a chocolate shake sometimes.
There must be a reason why Havoc 2 is on there??
New Line did put a Double Feature out, so they must be connected somehow.
The Burger King oil problem.
I had a coupon and went to another Burger King and had a combo meal. This time the fries tasted as usual.
So it must be that other BK's oil that is bad.
