They dropped Showtime too.  They're going to feel the repercussions of this really quickly.  Those channels are hugely popular.  This stupid decision will be reversed shortly, I bet.

You never know when he might shoot something near you.  I mean, we first met him like 20 or so miles from where I live.  He just freakin' dropped out of the sky right into our laps the specific week TeeJay was here to visit me so we could launch this site together.  And if we hadn't met Sean East online before that and gotten handed thousands of super secret Fanboys pics, we would not have made the splash we did that day and gotten so entwined in the story of that movie's evolution.  Sometimes, it's just like fate simply hands you exactly what you need.  So weird how things work out.

I think most of us really love this one.  Such a tragic character.  It's almost completely unbearable to imagine what it would be like to be that kid.  How do you get over all of that loss?

#254 Re: Chris On Screen » Infestation (SPOILERS FOR THE MOVIE BEGIN ON PAGE 15) » 03 Aug 13 :: 03:34

I absolutely adore this movie.  I've probably watched it 8 times by now.  He's hilarious in it.  And very cute, I think.  I just about died hearing him speak Spanish for the first time.  I love Brooke Nevin and Ray Wise as well.  On the DVD commentary, Kyle Rankin explains that he shot this scene for the end where Leechee (the Asian woman) shows up with a bunch of survivors.  That's what the noise you hear is.  Big group hug, the end.  But he didn't like it when he saw it all cut together and decided to drop it and leave it open-ended, like the old monster movies he loved as a child.

The reason the movie does not suck is that Kyle is super talented.  He's got some really funny shorts out there.  The movie was NOT one of those horrible "SyFy Originals", despite their lie that it was.  It was made for Mel Gibson's production company, Icon Entertainment and intended for theatrical release.  They just couldn't find distribution and ended up selling it to SyFy.  The DVD is R rated.  There's boobs and f-bombs.  It's so much better uncut.

Most everyone who watches it is pleasantly surprised.  Even people who never heard of Chris.

Well, maybe someday, you can explain it to him.  tongue

She just glows in person.  She's a million times prettier in real life than we've ever seen her be on film.

I need to change me email address on here.  I'm not getting that mail right now because my old computer's down-ish.  It's really hard to deal with so I rarely boot it up.  I don't have Outlook on my new computer so I cant use that address right now.  Can you forward it to sisterdebmac@yahoo.com?  Use that address anytime you wanna reach me.

Maybe we collect and could send him some specific questions to get him talking.  We've done that before and gotten nice emails.

Did it say why?  We've been wondering if it was research for a role what.

Well, you know, the Friedman who lives in my head is working for NASA, happily married to Glynis and the proud father of twins, Isaac & Buzz.  So, yeah, he did grow up good.   tongue

I love Aaron.  I wish he was onscreen more.  He's terrific.  I don't know what we have to do to drag him out of his shell.

I live less than 5 miles from where I was born.  I'm gonna be no help at all on that one.  Sorry.

There you go.  That works.  Turns out you and Maria were trying to post the same pic.  wink

We didn't do anything for the birthday this year.  We've kind last touch with him lately, he's been so busy.  I've been thinking it's about time to reach out to him again now that he has a ton of stuff to talk about.  We kind of thought he wasn't communicating much for a while there because maybe it bummed him out to not be working.  I think things are about to pick back up for him and for us.
