Hey guys, I've finished the caps of both the SNL skit and the Even Stevens episode. How would you like me to get them to you? I can upload them to Photobucket, send you a zipped folder through email, whatever you'd like. big_smile

Hahaha! Anna Faris is absolutely hilarious. I can sort of see the "eww" factor, though, lol.

Haha, although I rarely take notice in another person's eyebrows, you're right - Chris's are fantastic. tongue

Thanks for the picture! He's got such an adorable smile *sigh*

#405 Re: Chris On Screen » Alpha Dog (STRONG LANGUAGE & ADULT CONTENT) » 27 Feb 07 :: 23:12

I'm with you guys - it's really annoying when a special edition releases after you already own the original DVD. It's a marketing ploy that I've fallen victim to far too often. Sometimes I'm reluctant to buy certain DVDs because I know that a new edition will come along at one point. And if it's true that they're including more special features on HD DVDs, it seems as though that is another tactic to sucker people into purchasing new equipment.

I also hate it when there are little to no special features on a DVD, which, at this point, seems to be happening with Alpha Dog. I'm one to watch every single feature that a disc offers, just because I'm fascinated with all that happens on movie sets. I would love to see some of the scenes that were edited from AD, especially the one Deb mentioned. But with the number of sources that list only those two features, it looks like that's all we'll be getting. sad

Welcome allatraka! I've just joined the board recently myself. Always awesome to see the Chris community grow smile

I actually haven't checked out the fan fiction section of the site yet. It's on my list of things to do, so maybe when Spring Break rolls around I'll have time to read.

#409 Re: Chris On Screen » The Girl Next Door (ADULT LANGUAGE!!!) » 25 Feb 07 :: 09:58

Weird how there was no thread for this. I didn't even notice.

I actually love this movie, which is strange because I've never been a big fan of teen comedies. I've seen it twice in the past month or so, and many times before, but I still laugh each time I watch it.

I'm not sure! I only noticed Chris, and it's lucky I even caught him because he's off in the distance just standing in line. Hahaha. No lines or anything. I'll look as soon as I can start getting the caps, though.

Have I also mentioned that I love your avatar? It's Chris as Adam in the shed in that sad, sad scene at the end of Spring Cleaning, right?

Haha, okay awesome. I'll be home on Wednesday of next week, so I'll try to grab it then smile. I've got some pretty good quality captures from his Even Stevens episode I should send your way too.

And yep, that's exactly what my cap is from. You're good, haha big_smile

#413 Re: All About Chris » Chris on Conan O'Brien? » 24 Feb 07 :: 17:26

Oh man, I would have loved to see Chris on Conan!

I actually found the episode of Saturday Night Live he did while watching the Christmas special DVD. It's from a Chris Farley skit where he's playing a mall store Santa Claus who also lives in a van down by the river. Too funny. Chris is one of the kids waiting to sit on Santa's lap. I could probably grab some screen captures and a clip from it if you're at all interested. I just have to wait until I'm back home.

Hey TeeJay!

Good to finally "meet" you, haha! I'm happy to see that you got home safe, but I hope your back feels better!

I don't know if I would be able to handle the weather you were in (although, I'll have to soon!). Since I'm from Phoenix, the coldest our winters get is around 40 degrees Fahrenheit (4 degrees Celcius). Although, at the moment I'm visiting Massachusetts and preparing to move here, and it's a bit colder. It will definitely be a change though, I'm so used to the heat!

Thanks for the welcome, and again, I hope you feel better big_smile

Awesome find Tasha!

I'm pretty sure the earring is real, as I've seen him wearing it in several places. You've actually got a few pictures of him with it in your gallery:

At the Dream Halloween thing: http://chris-marquette.com/gallery/albu … een_01.jpg

And again at a movie premiere: http://chris-marquette.com/gallery/albu … ere_02.jpg

He doesn't seem to wear it much anymore, though. I didn't even notice it in the Graduation pictures, I'll have to go back and look.

Yeah, I kind of suck at watching live TV. I've got Tivo (which is always full) and tons of TV on DVD. I have a weird schedule, so watching a TV show during its correct timeslot has never really worked for me, haha.

Yeah, me too. This is kinda like seeing Sprague Grayden (Judith from JoA) on Jericho with Skeet Ulrich, who played Paul Callan on Miracles, where Chris was a guest star in one episode. And even Fred Kohler, who played Ramsey on Joan, appeared on Miracles. I certainly watch too much TV. LOL

Haha, I'm the same way. I've been a TV junkie ever since I was really young. I actually just got my hands on Miracles, but I haven't started watching yet. I'm trying to catch up on Heroes at the moment and I'll probably start Miracles afterwards.

Definitely. They're not my caps and I have no idea where I originally found them, but I seriously doubt it would be a problem to post them in your gallery. big_smile

I'm not sure if you all have seen these before, but I just found them saved on an old CD of mine. I must have found them around the time JoA Season 1 was airing. They're from his Fruit by the Foot commercial. Too cute. And pretty funny, too.

Oh, there is one interesting coincidence in it though.  The stoner kid was played Kyle Labine, brother of Tyler Labine, who played Dave on Invasion, uncle of the character played by Alexis Dziena, who was of course, Bonnie on JoA.

Haha, I definitely want to visit Germany. Actually, I'd go anywhere outside of North America. And I'd probably go to Canada again, I like it a lot up there.

My dad actually watched JoA more than my mom did. Mom's only seen Season One on DVD, but Dad was the one who got me into the show while it was airing. I lent my JoA DVD set to my mom after she saw Huff and Just Friends, she was curious to see him in different roles since James and Mike were such polar opposites.

Eminem! Haha! That's great, although I can't blame her for associating hoodies with Eminem. I bet Chris doesn't get that a lot though, LOL.

#425 Re: Chris On Screen » Freddy vs. Jason (alternative title: Crap On A Stick) » 20 Feb 07 :: 23:35

I actually rented this movie for the first time the other night, just to see Chris' performance. I had to endure this long lecture about how Freddy vs. Jason was the first movie to have two monsters face each other since Frankenstein Meets The Wolf Man...or something... before I was actually able to leave the store. I seriously wanted to scream "I'm just watching it for Chris Marquette, okay?!"

Every once in awhile I'll enjoy these slasher movies, but this one was a pile of crap. I was multitasking while watching it, which I do a lot, and I would only look up from my calculus homework when Chris was in the scene. Still, the girly scream was classic and I was sad when Linderman died. Also, it was kind of cool to see Chris and Jason Ritter together in something other than JoA. I had no idea he was in it when I rented the movie.

I'm sure the only reason I'd ever have for buying this movie is if it were in one of those 2 for $10 bins. And I guess there's chance of that happening, so maybe someday...:)
