Or they could do a "Beauty and the Beast" thing (I haven't read it, and I do plan on seeing the movie but haven't). Where it is loosely the same idea, but becomes a long form love story/scifi thing
Jamie Bell was Billy Elliott with Julie Walters
who was in Educating Rita with Micheal Caine
who was in The Quiet American with Brendon Frazier

I just saw the Virgin Spring a couple of weeks ago. It is actually very watchable (if you have no problem with subtitles) Most of bergman's films are less than 90 minutes long, so that helps. It is also interesting how much the 2 films have in common(considering one is a modern horror film and the other is an art film set in the Middle Ages). The biggest difference is that the Last House on the Left is just about horror. Where as The Virgin Spring is horrorfying and then beautiful. Give it a real chance, it is worth it.

Jeez what's going on
A quick note about Catcher in the Rye, Salinger has never sold the rights to the book for a film (and he has made it clear he never will). There was an adaptaion of one of his short stories in the 40s. He hated it, and has since refused all offers. My guess is that there will be no adaptaion until it goes into public domain.
For me Tarantino is an automatic. I'm not sure I have completely liked any of them since Pulp Fiction, but there has been something about them all that I have loved. His love of movies comes out in everything he does, and that is something I am very in tune with. And yes, I'm not sure about the scalping either, but I will definately see it.
Since I just had My Cousin Vinny in my last one I could do it that way but
Marissa Tomei was in Slums of Beverly Hills with Alan Arkin
who was in Little miss Sunshine with Paul Dano
who was in The Girl Next Door with...
Desi Arnez
You and Deb do have a lot in common
17, and I have been through several madden days now
Welcome to the board, and I hope you survived Madden Day (I would have been hearing about it if my son weren't visiting his grandparents right now). I know how crazy it gets on this day.
You're right, I guess I didn't remember it quite right. I just remembered the big hubbub. But he does go out, and in the end, he is probably more dangerous (I'm sure Jodie Foster thinks so). In the end, I would have a big problem if Manson or any of the killers were to be released, but Fromme has probably done enough time.
Well, she wasn't part of the killings (there were a lot of members of the "family" who weren't involved) and she didn't actually shoot President Ford. And considering Hickley who actually shot President Reagan and 3 other people has been out for at least 10 years, I guess it is legitimate to let her out. But then I wouldn't really want to be around her.

I know it's a TV show not a movie, but who thought this was a good idea?
The only thing I know him from is X-files so
William B. Davis was in the X-files with Gillian Anderson
who was in the Last King of Scotland with Forest Whitaker
who was in American Gun with...
John Mills
Great minds...
Syndication is when they sell reruns of a show to individual tv stations (and cable networks). It is highly profitable to the producers because there is no new expense and so all of the money it brings in is profit. The reason that it can affect dvd release is because the producers worry that if it is out on dvd people won't watch the show on TV as much, and so the tv stations and cable networks won't buy it anymore. In the long term, success in syndication shows a wide interest in the show, so that a dvd release is more likely (once they think they have made all the money they can out of syndication.)
But the good side is you'll get to see it on a big screen.
Looks good, as I said before I hope they didn't mess it up
So many new credits I thought it was worth bringing this up again, and I have never posted a list so here is mine. It is based on my opinion of the overall film (although no. 1 would qualify as both the best project and Chris's best work)
10. Kids 10 Commandments (personal reasons but I also think it is really good)
9. The Girl Next Door
8. Education of Charlie Banks
7. Race to Witch Mountain
6. Alpha Dog
5. Fanboys
4. Infestation
3. Graduation
2. The Tic Code
1. Joan of Arcadia
Kevin knew she talked to God, he just didn't know he knew, if that makes sense. Remember the talk (I can't remember which episode) where he reminds her about her imaginary friend. I have always been suspicious that if there had been more seasons, he would have become Joan's confidant about God.
And I think Deb is right that Rebecca left because the actress got another job. Too bad, I always like that relationship too.
I had to look up Belinda Montgomery...She is the sister of Lee "Ben" Montgomery cool
So needless to say, I couldn't get it
