Although i do like the symbol of Taurus... even considered a tattoo of it. But im too much of a sook to get a tattoo and its not so much that it means alot to me, more just that i think its pretty which i dont think is a valid reason for a tattoo. If i were to ever get a tattoo it would have to have huge meaning to me. I have a scorpio friend that has the scorpio symbol and a scorpion on her hip. It looks awesome....but again, im a sook.

Yeah I would like to think i am a flexible person, but i know i am someone that completely struggles with change. There are times i wish i were a prettier sign though. Hahaha its not really all that pleasant to think of myself as a cow.

#504 Re: Introduce Yourself » Our little questionnaire ::: Come on in and answer it » 03 Sep 09 :: 06:14

Haha well with the time difference, it is the afternoon for me! And yeah, I really am the steretypical bull. Stubborn, tends to be lazy, loyal, grounded, gluttonous and all the other traits. It is really fascinating how much you can relate yourself to your star sign.

#506 Re: Introduce Yourself » Our little questionnaire ::: Come on in and answer it » 03 Sep 09 :: 06:01

Actually my temper is amazingly patient most of the time. I have only ever gone off three times in my life. But I have read that its like that with most Taurus. They are normally quite patient but once the temper is blown its completely gone. I once scared my older brother so much that he locked himself in his room and wouldnt come out until my mum came home the first time i blew my temper at him. This while he was 5 years older than i was and had done training in martial arts. While its not something i am very proud of i do have to giggle to myself thinking about how insane i must have seemed.

Hahaha no no no im not stubburn, just determined...hahaha nah i know very well that i am a stubborn cow. I adore star sign stuff too. Not the daily horoscope stuff so much. That i just read for giggles, but the stuff about you as a person in general i find fascinating. Everything i have heard about Taurus has me nodding my head in agreement. I did have to laugh though when i read something like "after a night out of good food, good wine and good music the Taurus would be anybody's" I was like HEYyyyyyyyyyyyy! Umm but probably true. Damn.

#511 Re: Chris On Screen » Chris-Watch: Where and when to catch him on-screen » 03 Sep 09 :: 03:49

Well I just absolutely adore Carl. That character is my favourite! I had seen a few things with Chris in it before but it was that movie that lead me to this site. Cant help it. He is SO beautiful in that movie that it turned me from a fan into a massive fan. Started chasing up movies just because he was in them, join fansites wink that kinda thing. I dont know whether I am anything like Carl, but i would love to be!

Heading up to Sydney for a meeting with work. Im just a little excited about the prospect of flying. I love it, just dont get to do it nearly enough.

Swine flu wasnt all that bad...I live in Melbourne which was labelled the second largest outbreak or something like that. I had it from Friday night and didnt take any time off work even though i probably should have. I just struggled through the next week. Honestly it was horrible but i have had worse flu before. I think the big scare about it was just because of the lack of immunity and such wide spread of the disease. Though i do think that we (as in Australia) had a mild strain of it. The only people here to die of the disease had underlying medical problems first.

#519 Re: Square Eyes » Amber Tamblyn » 25 Aug 09 :: 02:40

I got all 4 taken out at once too! Only 2 were playing up but they decided it would be easier to just take them all out. Couple of grand to end up with no cool pain meds, and a face so swollen it blocked your eyesight for 2 days hmmm...i think it was a bad plan. But it was only really 3 days that i had issues for. I was still kinda swollen and bruised for like a week later, but it was easy enough to cover up. My brother looked completely fine after 2 days. Couldnt even see any swelling or anything. But he kept complaining for like 2 weeks. Hahaha

I used to have a big gap between my teeth (i actually loved it) used to push a 50cent coin through for laughs from people. But my wisdoms pushed them together. I didnt even notice that i lost most of my gap. Its now only a little bit there. I have been told for the longest time that i should get braces, but i actually like my smile and i dont wanna risk paying thousands just to end up with something im not happy with. That and i was also told the easiest way for me to get it done would be to break my jaw and reset it. NO THANKS.

Generally a whole lotta pain and a fat face and a forced week and a half off work when you cant even enjoy the time off.....trust me. Not much to miss out on wink

#523 Re: Square Eyes » Amber Tamblyn » 24 Aug 09 :: 01:59

Maybe you were just never meant to be wise Deb??

#524 Re: Square Eyes » Amber Tamblyn » 24 Aug 09 :: 01:25

Haha i only had mine pulled a few months ago. Same day as my brother actually. My mum thought it was the funniest thing to watch us both just zoned out on the couch in front of the TV with our ice packs and bandages wrapped around our faces. Mine face was SOOO swollen but at least i didnt have any bruising.
