Irina -- I completely agree with the idea that with art there is no best. But i think everyone has their own personal top 100. This is just a tradition and i love it. Because the list is usually AWESOME regardless if i agree with the order or not. This list got me loving the foo fighters again. Never really stopped, but yeah Dave Grohl is SO amazing! That and Powderfinger too. Bernard Fanning is .....wow. Is he just an Australian thing or is Powderfinger known by other countries?

#580 Re: Square Eyes » In Praise of Chris's Colleagues » 29 Jul 09 :: 01:13

Hahaha i do believe this to be true of Deb, dont think she is that dark. However seeing as this happens to him in the movie perhaps you wont mind seeing it, Deb?? Seriously if you miss that movie just because he is in it then i am buying a plane ticket to come visit and slap you silly. This movie, regardless of what it is about, purely based on the amount of talent in it, gotta be a must see in my opinion! Plus i generally love a bits and pieces type film, i am curious though. Cos usually in this type of film there are a handful of standouts amongst the huge level of talent. I will most definitely be watching this movie ASAP.

#584 Re: Off Topic Stuff » What Your Birth Month Says About You » 28 Jul 09 :: 02:54

My turn....

APRIL

Active and dynamic -- I always think of myself as lazy
Decisive and hasteful but tends to regret -- Nah i very rarely regret
Attractive and affectionate to oneself -- someone's gotta do it
Strong mentality -- *shrug* i guess so
Loves attention -- too right!
Diplomatic -- i do try to be
Consoling -- Hahahahahaha nope i am useless at this
Friendly and solves people's problems -- friendly yes...problems see above
Brave and fearless -- I have a definite fear of heights and a slight fear of confined spaces, so doubt it. Though i do like to push the boundaries
Adventurous -- when im not being lazy
Loving and caring -- depends who you are talking about smile
Suave and generous -- ALWAYS (hahaha, modest too)
Emotional -- Not usually
Revengeful -- Nah im pretty good at burying the hatchet
Agressive -- I have been told this before
Hasty -- Nah im usually slow
Good memory -- ummm i forget (bad, bad BAAAAAD joke)
Moving -- As aposed to??? I would like to think that i have the ability to move
Motivate oneself and the others -- Come on guys. You should do this too!
Sickness usually of the head and chest -- Well i would say the most common sickness would be cold or flu and yes, those are both affected during this. So i would say that applies to everyone
Easily get too jealous -- Ummm yes and no, depends on the person. I think i am generally more envious than jealous. Plus if this is talking about romantically then i would go with nope.

*ahem* i must apologise for my silliness, I am functioning on very little sleep and coffee smile

Did you ever hear back from Aaron, Deb??

#590 Re: Chris On Screen » The Education Of Charlie Banks » 23 Jul 09 :: 06:29

Well i was raised as the middle child and only girl. Plus up until this year the furthest any of my Aunts, Uncles, Cousins or Grandparents lived was only about and hour and a half driving. So any birthday or christmas usually had about 30 people show up and that was the norm. Plus i am actually considered quiet and reserved within my family. I find it amusing to have such contrasting opinions. Cos in average public i am loud and carefree but within my family i am normal to quiet. I love watching peoples reactions to my family. I love and respect them all so much

#592 Re: Chris On Screen » The Education Of Charlie Banks » 23 Jul 09 :: 06:07

I guess that is true. I am actually quite extroverted both online and in person. With or without liquid courage. Actually my most insane and fun and silly nights out have been while i was completely sober and i got "cut off" from friends. Or they bring you a glass of water. Hahahaha nothing better. I am a Taurus. (No idea if that changes anything or not) but I actually enjoy being foolish. So long as its not hurting anyone its fun to push your limits of embarrassment.

#593 Re: Chris On Screen » The Education Of Charlie Banks » 23 Jul 09 :: 05:55

lol:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol: Deb you are too shy???? I cant imagine you shy in ANY shape or form

#594 Re: Chris On Screen » The Education Of Charlie Banks » 23 Jul 09 :: 05:45

Hahahahahaha i love to dance. Doesnt mean i am any good at it. Far from it. I would say that i am quite the terrible dancer actually. But i enjoy it alot smile So thats all that matters.

#595 Re: Square Eyes » Twilight (contains spoilers for all books and the movies) » 23 Jul 09 :: 05:44

Agreed...they can just stand around not doing anything and i think i would enjoy this movie. HAhahahaha

#596 Re: Chris On Screen » The Education Of Charlie Banks » 23 Jul 09 :: 05:36

So beautiful....i wish all my dance partners looked like that!

#597 Re: Square Eyes » Sequels, Prequels, Reboots, Adapatations » 23 Jul 09 :: 02:44

Yeah i always just think of him from Freaks and Geeks when i am watching him on Bones. I cant help it. I am sure he does an amazing job but i just cant buy his character because all i see is "Sam"

#598 Re: Square Eyes » Sequels, Prequels, Reboots, Adapatations » 23 Jul 09 :: 02:41

Freaks and Geeks was always one of my favourite TV shows!

#599 Re: Square Eyes » Sequels, Prequels, Reboots, Adapatations » 23 Jul 09 :: 02:25

*shrug* I think he can pull it off. I do think they will go for a more over-the-top show for comedy rather than action. But you are right Deb. I do think it will rest on who they cast as Kato

#600 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 22 Jul 09 :: 02:24

Why do so many people argue and disagree? What causes the conflict that we keep encountering? Are we all, really, fundamentally incompatible? Or do we just secretly enjoy the experience of dramatic tension. If you want a battle now, you can have one. You may even be able to win it, too. But if it is more important to you to live in harmony and strengthen the team that you are a part of, it may be wiser to step away from a contentious topic of conversation. Is it really worth standing your ground?

So apparently my horoscope is telling me to just take whatever comes at me and dont argue.....STUFF THAT! hahaha
