Wow, that would suck if there weren't deleted scenes! I mean, what are you buying DVDs for? roll

#6227 Re: Introduce Yourself » Hello everyone! » 23 Feb 07 :: 14:24

I'm glad you're back but sorry that you have these problems with your back. (What a weird sentence. LOL) I hope you feel better soon.

#6228 Re: Square Eyes » Grey's Anatomy » 23 Feb 07 :: 12:33

I hope that was the last episode with that big spoiler. I can`t wait to see this. Spoiling myself on the imdb.com boards is no fun. roll

#6229 Re: Chris On Screen » The Education Of Charlie Banks » 22 Feb 07 :: 21:04

Single posts, really? Wow. Then she needs to explain this to me, because when I looked at the Administration, I couldn't find a Move single posts feature.

#6230 Re: Chris On Screen » The Education Of Charlie Banks » 22 Feb 07 :: 18:39

Well, I don't think there's a possibility to move single posts. But well, I'll aks Tina what we should do.

Definitely looking forward to seeing TBO big_smile

Me too. I just doubt that the movie will ever make it to Germany, so I guess I have to wait until the DVD comes out ...

I don't know how to move single posts but if you would like to have the pic in the TBO thread I could delete the posts here and post it there instead. And maybe we should ask the webmasters if we could add the pic to our gallery. It definitely belongs there. LOL wink

#6232 Re: Chris On Screen » The Education Of Charlie Banks » 22 Feb 07 :: 00:49

WOW! Where did you find THAT? yikes
I was digging deep into Google the night before yesterday and I didn't found anything but that humble link in my other post. roll
Thanks for posting!

#6233 Re: Chris On Screen » American Gun » 22 Feb 07 :: 00:47

This is kinda hard for me, because I want both Amber Tamblyn and Marcia Gay Harden to win. sad
Then again, I haven't seen Amber's film yet, so I tend to support Marcia in the first place. And why didn't they nominate Chris for Best Supporting Male? He certainly would have deserved that. (Then again, Paul Dano's also nominated - that would have been a conflict for me too ...) roll
I just hope whoever wins the Award, deserves it.

#6234 Re: Chris On Screen » Freddy vs. Jason (alternative title: Crap On A Stick) » 21 Feb 07 :: 22:54

Yeah, I know the timeslot problem. I used to tape a lot of shows, but since my VCR broke I can't do that anymore. I think I'll try to make my Dad buy a DVD recorder. LOL There's currently the second season of Numb3rs here on TV on Thursdays and I hate it because my mom's show ends at 10.15pm and Numb3rs starts at 10.05pm to 10.10pm (I don't get that damn channel, it ruins everything!), so we always argue about what to watch. Thank God I already know it, but I still like watching it on TV.

#6235 Re: All About Chris » Funny screencaps » 21 Feb 07 :: 22:49

I didn't doubt that the earring was real. I mean, I remember times at school when piercings started to be "cool". It was like every boy in my class wanted to have such an earring. Even my brother had one, but nowadays he doesn't wear it anymore and I think the hole is gone now, so even if he wanted to wear it again, he would need to get a new piercing. I was just curious if it was the same ring actually, but it's not that important.

#6236 Re: All About Chris » Funny screencaps » 21 Feb 07 :: 22:05

The only thing I knew was that he did a commercial about those Oreo bisquits/thingies/whatever back in 2000 or 2001, which was about the time I learned about them and got obsessed with them. LOL But I didn't know him back then, so it was kind of funny to find it out later. Don't remember where I found it, probably imdb or some other website.

Yeah, I was wondering about that earring too.

#6237 Re: Chris On Screen » Freddy vs. Jason (alternative title: Crap On A Stick) » 21 Feb 07 :: 22:01

I watched 11 episodes of Miracles in a row, so be sure that I do know the meaning of too much TV. I mean, I even watch some shows dubbed into German. I'm currently watching Grey's Anatomy, Numb3rs, Medium, Lost (just started), Jericho (at least the clips on youtube) and Life On Mars (a british cop show, started a few weeks ago here). I sometimes catch The Simpsons, King Of Queens and the reruns of Home Improvement. I admit it, I watch Ghost Whisperer, but only to improve my English. LOL
And here`s the thing. I recently made a list with all the shows I want to watch/have on DVD. I honestly came up with 66 shows. Can you say TV addict? LOL

#6238 Re: The Bullhorn » Updates » 21 Feb 07 :: 21:53

I just added the six Fruit By The Foot commerial Screencaps to our gallery. (They're posted in the Funny Screencaps Thread.) Thanks again for donating them, OhGnarly! big_smile

#6239 Re: All About Chris » Funny screencaps » 21 Feb 07 :: 21:39

Cool! Thank you so much again. I'll add them right now!

#6240 Re: All About Chris » Funny screencaps » 21 Feb 07 :: 19:51

Haha. The last three ones are SO FUNNY!
Thank you so much for posting them. I didn't even know about that commercial. (Well, the reason COULD be that I live in Germany. LOL)

Maybe you wanna donate them to our gallery? wink

#6241 Re: All About Chris » Your Chrissues of the Day » 21 Feb 07 :: 19:49

Wooow, thanks, that just made my day. I knew there was a reason for me staring at the autograph so long today. LOL

Hahaha, I love finding those connections!

Yeah, me too. This is kinda like seeing Sprague Grayden (Judith from JoA) on Jericho with Skeet Ulrich, who played Paul Callan on Miracles, where Chris was a guest star in one episode. And even Fred Kohler, who played Ramsey on Joan, appeared on Miracles. I certainly watch too much TV. LOL

#6243 Re: All About Chris » Funny screencaps » 21 Feb 07 :: 15:08

Didn't Tina post that one already? Ah well, I don't mind a double-post with that one, it's too funny. LOL

Sean, yeah, I agree, there is a little alikeness, but I noticed that on a few other pictures too. Do we have a similar pic of Sean in our gallery?

#6244 Re: Introduce Yourself » Hello everyone! » 21 Feb 07 :: 15:04

Yeah, he gets John Cusack the most. Didn't someone call him "a teenage-mopey John Cusack" in one of the American Gun reviews? I remember something. But since I am also a big John Cusack fan I don't mind the comparison. They should definitely play< together one day. wink
And he also gets Bob Dylan sometimes. At least with that my mom was right. LOL She said something when we were listening to some Bob Dylan songs a while ago.

A PWSNM about James and Mike, yeah, that should be interesting. Or how about James and Eli? I bet Eli and Mike would be best friends, that should also be funny. LOL

#6246 Re: Chris On Screen » Freddy vs. Jason (alternative title: Crap On A Stick) » 21 Feb 07 :: 00:52

At least the 15 seconds interview from the specials is kinda funny because he talks so fast. Too much coffee, dude! LOL

#6247 Re: Introduce Yourself » Hello everyone! » 21 Feb 07 :: 00:49

Yeah, you're right, I'm Anne in real life. With an e. wink
On the internet I usually go with Samsy-Marie or just Samsy, you can choose one of those names. LOL

You wanna visit Germany? Are you sure? This place is soooo boring! roll Nothing is going on here.

Your mom watched JoA? Cool. My mom didn't like the show very much. I wonder what she would think about Huff, but I never showed it to her. And I don't think I ever will.
Well, she doesn't get Chris. She keeps saying he reminds her of somebody but she can't figure out who it is. Once I had a wallpaper from JoA as background on my comp and she asked me if that's Eminem there. I was like Mom, what did you just say? LOL This is not Eminem. Well, I have to say, he was wearing a hoodie and she doesn't know Eminem very well either and she knows from TV that he wears hoddies too, so I guess she just mixed them up. LOL But she's my mom and she should at least know that I'm not a fan of Eminem. Well, that's the thing with parents. LOL

#6248 Re: Square Eyes » Lost » 20 Feb 07 :: 17:16

Okay, I got the sound problem fixed so far. It still does not work on the DVD player, but I figured out that I just have to disconnect the (newly-installed) microphone and then it's at least working when I turn the speakers to the fullest. But at least it works, so it's fine with me. I'm currently watching Ep 4.

#6249 Re: All About Chris » Funny screencaps » 20 Feb 07 :: 14:29

There used to be a screencaps which capped him when he was running and it gave me a good laugh when I saw it for the first time because of his weird hairstyle. That must be one of the old joan-adam.org caps. Bummer I can't post it here.

#6250 Re: Introduce Yourself » Hello everyone! » 20 Feb 07 :: 14:16

Hi Brenna! A warm welcome from Germany! (I speak for Tina and me here, because Tina's currently on a business trip in Sweden.)

Thank God Alpha Dog's coming to our theaters on March 22, I can't wait to see it! (That's one thing I don't like about Germany. We have to wait aaaaaaages for the good movies. roll)
So your mom is also a big fan of Chris? Wow, cool. My mom doesn't get him. sad
