I would do it, but I won't have the time because our Irish friends are still here. They'll leave after lunch or something, I think. Maybe I can do it tonight then.
Oh yeah, I'm really busy with talking English right now, LOL.

I see, I don`t need to post my favorite scenes, because you already posted most of them. wink

The BMI "define first moment" definitely HAS to be on the Demo reel! LOL
From the Tic Code I would also add the scenes when Tyrone and Miles are sitting at the harbour (?) and talking. I love this scene.

We don't have this thread yet? Shame!

Here is something I noticed a while ago ... the English DVD version and the German DVD version have different covers. And I think this is the first time I love the German cover more than the original one. If there is a difference. I mean, it's a Chris movie and there isn't a picture of him. They didn't even put his name on the cover! This is one of the most remarkable performances of a brilliant actor at a very young age and they did not put his name on the cover? Hello? Who was the brain behind? roll

Okay, I think I am going to watch the movie again tomorrow and try to write something about it. I can't watch JoA at the moment but I want to do something for the website.

I actually pronounced it as "Yelkin". With a k. But I'm also ok with Yelssin. In fact, I don't really care. LOL

Yeah, I read about the Emmys on IMDB, too.

I think I am about to believe that you two have too much free time. big_smile Although I know that that can't be possible. LOL

They really don't say much that's interesting, except that JOA was trying to deal with teen sex in a very anti-OC way.  Which, or course, I loved.
And then they had to wreck that whole idea in S2.

You named it, girl! <sigh> roll

#7385 Re: Chris On Screen » Huff » 28 Aug 06 :: 14:27

Did she tell any reasons for the cancellation?

#7388 Re: Chris On Screen » Fanboys » 27 Aug 06 :: 17:19

Huuuh??? I remember watching that episode when it was on TV here ... but I don't remember seeing Sam! Shame on me! I have to watch that ep again.

#7390 Re: Chris On Screen » Fanboys » 26 Aug 06 :: 23:14

Of course! big_smile Did you ever doubt that? wink

That would be a cool birthday present ... if I'd live in the US. sad

Yeah, let's hope so.
I wanna see this movie! I wanna see the green hair! LOL

Hutch steals the show? Not from Chris! LOL

Yeah, I guess you're kinda right about the smoking pic. But I have to admit that I don't really wanna replace it. I love the slightly grungy, with-an-edge look he has on that pic. Sure, I don't like that he smokes, on or off camera, but it's not like we can change it, so I'm okay with that pic staying where it is. You think it's gonna promote smoking in any way? Don't think so... And I might want to wave the non-smoking flag every now and then, but I wouldn't go as far as banning everything that has to do with cigarettes or other smoking-related things from the site.

Same here. wink

I don`t like smoking either. I hate it when my brother and his girlfriend are here and smoke. But at least they go out to the balcony. If it was my apartment, I would not allow them to smoke in there. Well, I can't because of my illness. My best friend smokes a lot, too. He often talks about quitting but he never does. I wish he would! Smoking is not healthy for everyone, but for me it is twice dangerous because of my illness.

#7395 Re: Chris On Screen » The Education Of Charlie Banks » 26 Aug 06 :: 16:12

I just finished watching "The Emporer's Club". And why am I posting that here?
Because it has at least three guys in it who filmed already a movie with Chris. It has Emile Hirsch AND Paul Dano (yes, from GND) and Jesse Eisenberg from EOCB. And the best was: There was Patrick Dempsey from Greys's Anatomy and he played the older version of Jesse's character. That was funny. I didn't see any resemblance before. big_smile
Oh, and by the way, Rob Morrow from Numb3rs was also in the movie. Just wanted to mention that. So I had two characters of two of my favorite TV shows in one movie. Great. LOL

#7396 Re: All About Chris » The Brothers Marquette » 26 Aug 06 :: 00:24

Wow, this is so cool! I'm sure he has a lot of fun with his brothers. Why can't my brothers be like that? roll

#7397 Re: All About Chris » The Brothers Marquette » 25 Aug 06 :: 22:49

Amber was promoting Grudge 2, I knew that. Read about it on her own forum. Of course I don't believe that they were chatting. I was just joking.
And I wasn't referring to the last name of the father, I was referring to the full name. And I guess, George comes from Jorge, too.

#7398 Re: All About Chris » The Brothers Marquette » 25 Aug 06 :: 22:16

Look what I found:

Source

Yeah, it's Sean signing autographs at the Comic Con International in San Diego.
Hey, Amber was also there. They might have had a nice chat about  Chris! big_smile

Oh and by the way, in Sean's wikipedia entry it now says their parents' names:

Jorge Luis Rodriguez (father)
Patricia Helen Market (mother)

Don't know if that is true. Father's name sounds very hispanic. And who wants to have a surname like Market when your name can be Marquette? wink

Smoking also killed my mom's best friend. She got a tumor on her aorta, which could not be removed by an operation. She was a chain smoker for more than 20 years before she died.

Unbelievable how much tar you can accumulate in your lung. I also think it said that when you smoke ~20 cigarettes a day every day for a year, the amount of tar that accumulates in your lung can fill a coffee mug. Ewww.

Wow. That I have to tell my brother and his girlfriend. They are smokers and I hate it. She's not even 18 years old and smokes a lot already.
And ha, I'll print out the first of these pics. It's kind of funny, I think. wink
