I was born deaf in my right ear and my ear didn't fully form - had plastic surgery when I was 4 to make it appear more "normal" and other reasons. I was insanely self-conscious of it for yers and would not wear a ponytail around most people. Now I dont care and most people dont even notice my ears are different sizes unless I point it out to them. That's kind neat that you have something similar too :-)

#53 Re: Square Eyes » Amber Tamblyn » 11 Aug 13 :: 05:54

I agree Deb - Chuck Lorre has done way better shows, like Big Bang Theory (wich I love!!!) and I don't know how two and a half men has lasted as long as it has. Honestly though I never liked the show myself, and I am a John Cryer fan as well.

Unchallenged is a cool idea. I chose mine because I love that line of the quote and I put it behind my deaf ear as well because even though that is a flaw I have (on some people's minds) I am unique with it and with its shape and everything. I honestly love that I did it and I'm really glad I didn't wait to do it and talk myself out of it.

Found this awesome short that Aaron did. It was honestly amazing!! It's called Dig and I wasn't sure if it had been posted on here or not so I linked to the YouTube video.

Commented on Facebook but had to here as well. Kind of disappointed in her for doing this stupid show!!

#57 Re: Square Eyes » TV Discussion Thread » 03 Aug 13 :: 06:18

What does that mean for all the CBS shows like NCIS and whatnot?

#58 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Moving - Visa's, apt (roomate share), jobs - HELP!! » 03 Aug 13 :: 06:15

Thanks! I have thought of trying to apply for next fall to a school in the states. I never thought about talking to the Canadian Embassy though.

#59 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 03 Aug 13 :: 06:13

That's true, in Canada though things are mostly shot in Toronto, Vancouver or other big cities. Nothing would be shot where I live lol.

#60 Re: Chris On Screen » Infestation (SPOILERS FOR THE MOVIE BEGIN ON PAGE 15) » 02 Aug 13 :: 07:10

Finally watched this today - on the never ending 16 hour drive home - and I gotta say it wasn't as cheesy as I thought it would be. Chris was the best actor (outside of the one playing his father) in my opinion. I really enjoyed it and actually want to watch it again right now. It was weird seeing his ex in it just because her part was kind of strange and because I knew they had dated, I always find that weird in movies. Overall it was a great little movie but I want to know what they see at the end, that bugged me, lol.

*I was also so happy Chris had a lead role - great for him and great seeing more of him on screen. I hope he gets more leads soon and I hope they make the sequel :-)*

#61 Re: Chris On Screen » American Gun » 02 Aug 13 :: 07:02

Okay - I watched this in the car on my 16 hour drive home (I wasn't driving, don't worry) and I can honestly say I think it was Amazing!!! Chris gave a fantastic performance - I think him and Marcia should work together all the time!! I felt they did a really good job blending all the stories. The ending for Chris storyline was really sad though. Ill have to watch it again when I can hear all the dialogue better but I am so glad I found this and was able to see it. Now I just need to find Thule and I think I will have seen all of his movies (so far).

#62 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 02 Aug 13 :: 03:33

Yeah if I get to LA next year and randomly bump into him, lol. Or if I tag along on one of your guys epic trips sometime :-)

#63 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 01 Aug 13 :: 05:30

Thanks! It was a complete spur of the moment tattoo and I had honestly thought about getting that as a tattoo literally an hour before getting it. I love it and I'm kind of glad that everyone won't get it, lol. I doubt even Chris would get the reference right away, lol.

#64 Re: Chris On Screen » American Gun » 01 Aug 13 :: 04:32

Finally found the whole movie to watch!!!! Going to watch tonight or tomorrow and will come back - and rave about it I bet :-)

#65 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 01 Aug 13 :: 03:29

I got a Chris related tattoo tonight :-) I did it more because the words mean something to me but it is due to Chris that I thought to put it on myself permanently, lol. Here is a pic!

Thanks so much guys! Ill definitely do that once I'm on my computer since my phone Facebook won't update for some reason *grrrrr*

*sent a friend request but couldn't send a message to him to explain who I am and how I would know him lol. Would one of you be able to send him a message for me?*

#67 Re: Chris On Screen » Thule - New Short Film » 31 Jul 13 :: 00:44

After finally watching the trailer on youtube - I had only watched Chris clips before - I really, really want to watch this!!! It looks sooooo good and seems really interesting. If anyone has it to share or even knows where I could watch it I would sooooo appreciate it :-)

#68 Re: All About Chris » How tall is Chris? » 27 Jul 13 :: 17:43

Holy Cow!! Read through this tread and I am honestly a giant compared to everyone here, lol. I am used to that though , and no you don't always accept your height, I still wish I had never grown after 5'5. I'm the second shortest in my family and I am 6'1 / 6'2  yikes

Of course all the guys I like are shorter than me. I need to work on getting over my height complex so that I can deal with seeing someone shorter. I guess I just like the idea of looking eye to eye or up at someone and being "small" to someone else.

Chris is only 28, he has time to grow taller right?!?! Lol!

#69 Re: Chris On Screen » Chris, the stand-up comedian » 26 Jul 13 :: 06:51

Okay I sent it to that one :-) *it won't send*

#70 Re: Chris On Screen » Chris, the stand-up comedian » 26 Jul 13 :: 03:04

Off topic: Deb I sent you an email through the link under your username. Hopefully it goes through.

#71 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Moving - Visa's, apt (roomate share), jobs - HELP!! » 25 Jul 13 :: 02:39

I see your point Teejay. I agree Canada is awesome :-P I really want to try and get into the behind the scenes aspect of film though so I am trying to find a way there in the next year. I'm seriously considering taking the Nanny route and going from there. Maybe I can meet some people once I'm there who would be able to help me find an internship or something.

#72 Re: Fanart » Avatars » 25 Jul 13 :: 02:35

Thanks Teejay. Ill probably end up sending them to you but not till this weekend as I'm travelling to my brothers all day tomorrow.

#73 Re: Chris On Screen » Chris, the stand-up comedian » 25 Jul 13 :: 02:33

No it didn't mention why or anything. I can't find where I read it I just remembered reading somewhere that it was just the relationship bit. I hope I'm wrong.

#74 Re: Chris On Screen » Chris, the stand-up comedian » 24 Jul 13 :: 01:46

I think I just read something where that might be the only bit he did, therefor there wouldn't be any other clips (wich sucks).

#75 Re: Chris On Screen » The Napkin (a short film by Aaron Himelstein) » 24 Jul 13 :: 01:45

I love him in the No Big Deal trailer - I think he made me laugh the most, esp the scenes at the end.
