I found three not-that-nice German reviews on the internet about the movie the other day. One said Chris "overestimated his acting talent". WTF??? 
I mean ... okay, you don't need to be that great at acting for a role like that, but ... overestimating his talent? Hello???

I watched it last night. Which means I watched at least Chris's scenes, since the rest of the show didn't really make sense to me.
Well, I loved seeing him back on screen and it was fun to see him playing a "secret husband", but I can't say this is going to be one of my favorite performances.
Will there be more with his storyline?

I returned home from the theatre an hour ago! 
Yeah, I did it again. Saw the movie before it actually opens here. LOL I love doing that!
And I was NOT disappointed! It was great seeing the people I've met last month in person on big screen again. The Phelps Twins caused the biggest laugh at the theatre, but I won't spoil that for you, in case you're planning to see the movie. I cannot wait for Part 2!!!

Read that on Twitter. I was surprised actually. I somehow expected it to be Leonardo DiCaprio. But hey, Ryan is also great, of course.

I didn't know Freaky Friday was a remake. The movie's kind of fun to watch once in a while, though I'd never buy it on DVD.

I would have been like "I know this guy, I know this guy ..." and then I'd try to think of who it is but would never figure it out and then, later, when I would have stopped thinking about it, I'd be like "Oh my GOOOD, it's Joan's Dad!"

Oh, don't get me started on this "exclusive" stuff! I hated that "several retailer's versions" stuff! I'm actually glad they won't do that with the Eclipse one, but this time they're having "exclusive" stuff only for BluRay, which also sucks for me because I don't have a BluRay player and since I hate German Twistuff I'll only buy American Twilight DVDs but you can't play American BluRays on German BluRay Players and THAT SUCKS ASS!!! :angry:
I want to see all the extras, too! That is so unfair, I kind of wish they never came up with that BluRay idea. DVDs are good enough.

To be honest, I haven't even watched to commentary yet. LOL I was too disappointed that there would be no Kristen/Rob/Taylor commentary. That was the part of the extras I was looking forward to the most ... they did a lot of mistakes with the New Moon DVD, if you ask me ....

I'd say 95% of the remakes out there is crap anyway. And there's stuff you're just not allowed to remake, but some people just don't get that.
I remember watching some episodes of 21 Jump Street while I was visiting my grandma when I was a kid. She always allowed me to stay up late and watch all those crime shows and stuff I wasn't allowed to watch at home. But of course I had no idea who Johnny Depp is back then nor could I imagine what he would be today. LOL
