I'm going to go see it this weekend!!!!!!  I asked if any of my friends wanted to go so well see.  If not I don't mind going alone (all the more Chris for me! cool)

I am so blind.  I had seen a trailer for this when I went to go see "Pursuit of Happyness" and at the time, I thought it was cool but the title didn't click.  Then yesterday I saw the trailer on tv and the title clicked!

Haven't seen the pics.  I'll be sure to check them out.  I have one more week for hibernation.  I think we go back on the 8th although I need to double check since I keep thinking we go back on the 4th.

I saw that movie but unfortunately I didn't like it.  I found myself falling asleep to it.

I'm back.  Hope everyone had a good New Years.  The camping trip was fun.  This was the first time we ever got snow out there!

Yeah, Heroes is a cool show (all though I'm much more of a 4400 fan).

Yeah, I know what you mean about being sad when Christmas was over.  I remember when I was a kid I used to wish it was Christmas everyday but now i'm glad those wishes never came true.  LOL!

Well I got some neat stuff this year.  I got 2 cds of Audio Adrenaline (including their Adios album).  And then somehow my mom managed to find an album that was recorded by my Youth Group mentor from 6 years ago!  Also got some great books and gift cards.

I hate waking up early.  Woke up at 6.  And my dad just got up at 7 right now.  Everyone else is still asleep.  When I woke up, didn't want to wake anyone else up.

I can't believe my parents: I asked for only one thing this Christmas and all ready they've got a lot more stuff for me and my sis under the tree.

I'm just going to see how this day goes:  We do our own little thing here at the house, then it's off to grandparents, and in the afternoon it's off to my aunts house.

Hope that you all have a very Merry Christmas.

And this is my own personal e-card from me to you all.  You all have been such great people here on the Chris boards.  It's no Chris E-card just something out of my personal collection from The 4400 (my #1 sci-fi show).

#86 Re: Joan of Arcadia » 2x15 Romancing The Joan » 25 Dec 06 :: 15:55

I liked this episode.  It was typical high school.  I've only had one boyfriend (who ended up being kind of a jerk since he cursed at me and lied a lot) but from what I've observed that's what some couples do; they test each other.  It's like they're unsure about their relationship so they need to add rocks in front of them like some kind of obsticle.

I really loved that tutor guy.  It was fun seeing him on this show since he had come out on Dawson's Creek years ago (which I used to enjoy watching.)

And loved the fantasy parts and how God would tell Joan about them and Joan would tell him to stay out of her fantasies since Joan felt like it was an invasion of privacy.  I thought that was very cool because it goes to show that no matter what we try to do to hide from God, God always knows where we are.  And he does know every single little thought even though sometimes it might feel as if no one is inside our minds other than us.

Can't really comment much on the music though as I was never introduced to the original stuff.

Enjoyed the table read!

I agree, watching Aaron do his parts was hilarious.  It seems the guy is funny both on and off screen.

I've added Chapter 5 today.  There are some Adam moments in it.

Where I live yes (it is warm)  but when we go camping; there's this place that's like an hr. and a half to two hour drive from where we live and it gets mighty chilly up there since it's in the mountains.  Looking forward to a cold New Years and then we'll probably head into the mountains where there's this small town and it's said to have tons of snow this year.

#91 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Season's Greetings! » 23 Dec 06 :: 16:09

Yeah, don't think I'll be around on Christmas either.  I'm kind of hoping to stop myself from using the computer that day.

Also to let you all know, I won't be around Dec. 28th- Jan 2nd.  It's that time of year again; we always go camping for New Years.  Been a tradition since I was like 10 I think or 11; can't remember which.

#92 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Season's Greetings! » 22 Dec 06 :: 01:10

I was so into Roswell that I just had to get all 3 seasons.  Season 1 I got for Christmas, Season 2 I got for my birthday, and then season 3 I bought on my own.

Well I got all of my Christmas shopping done for my fam.  I had gotten them something before and then I saw some stuff today so I figured why not.  I'm simply trying to make the best out of this holiday season because I dont' know how things will be next Christmas (senior year of high school ending and all.)

#93 Re: Chris On Screen » Fanboys » 22 Dec 06 :: 01:07

Yeah, I agree- this movie is meant to be seen on big screen.  Hopefully I'll be able to see it.

#94 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Season's Greetings! » 21 Dec 06 :: 16:26

We have our tree and stockings set up but that's about it.  Not believing takes some of the joy out of the myth of Christmas but so far things are okay I guess.

Sang Christmas songs at Youth Group yesterday which was fun.  Got to write out my cousins "reply from Santa" letter some time ago.  And on the 23rd I plan on watching my Roswell dvd with the Christmas episode from season two.  And on the 4th I plan on watching my Roswell dvd with the Christmas episode from season three.

#96 Re: Chris On Screen » Fanboys » 21 Dec 06 :: 16:20

Aug. 17th.  For some reason I think I might have to wait until the dvd too.  With college preparations and everything.

#97 Re: Introduce Yourself » Hey There » 20 Dec 06 :: 05:03

Sorry I hadn't been around for a while.  My life was kind of hectic these past couple of weeks with this being the last day of school and finals and what not.

But now I can sit back and relax for 3 weeks and not have school to worry about!  Looking forward to a soothing break.

#98 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Season's Greetings! » 20 Dec 06 :: 05:02

Most absolutely adore the card! roll (these are dreamy eyes not rolly eyes wink)

MERRY CHRISTMAS to you all as well.

And much thanks for this awesome site!

#99 Re: Joan of Arcadia » Adam & God Watch » 20 Dec 06 :: 04:59

This is just one p.o.v. (seriously; not the episode.)  Anyways, here are my two thoughts:

1.)
Do you think that the reason Adam has more interaction with the different appearances of God is because of what he said in season 1 about talking to angels?  I mean I know that he meant it figuratively and not literally; his way of talking to angels was through his art, but if you really think about it could it really be a plausible explaination?  I mean Adam does the art for his mom, so on some level in there he must believe that she is somewhere "Up There" watching over him: his mother, the angels he talks to, God.

2.)
And then the obvious fact that Adam started believing Joan about really seeing God and how it wasn't just in her head- that could've triggered something as well.  Adam believed so with that little spark he was able to start seeing God on a different level than he had in season 1 because he started to understand a little more

[Those were just my observations.]

I tried that site but for some reason I can't download them.
