Don't know anything about this, looks interesting though.  Good to see Night back though.  what program is this based on?  Is it a book series too?

#1053 Re: Square Eyes » Lost » 27 Apr 10 :: 22:50

Anyone keeping up with lost this season?  What do you think?  Haven't been too impressed but I do like having Desmond back.  It was nice to see Charlie again too.

This is a longer version of an interview we've already seen.

Great interview Deb.  Sean seems really intelligent, really passionat and excited about the movie.

Loved the teaser - adrien brody looks awesome.

I would agree with that.  It's still interesting & entertaining to watch and I think a good performance put in by Justin Chatwin.  Chris always seems to always have good chemistry with his co-stars.

#1056 Re: Chris On Screen » The Invisible » 20 Apr 10 :: 02:41

This movie is playing on FX on April 21st at 9am.  Always enjoyed this one.  I like the soundtrack & enjoyed both performances by Chris & Justin Chatwin.

Read Swan Thieves by Elizabeth Kostova who wrote the Historian, one of my favorites.  Swan Thieves was just okay, not as good as her first one.  Now finishing reading Jude the Obscure and a book called Work Hard.Be Nice about the Knowledge is Power Charter schools started in texas.

Glad you are okay Samsy.  Sorry to hear about internet. Amazing how much we depend on it now isn't it?
It was a good Monday I hope that bodes well for the week.

I've been kind of disappointed with this last season so far but absolutely loved this past episode with Desmond.  He's always been such an interesting character and I love the relationship with Penny.  Anyone else watching?

lol  I've always been a big fan of Mark Wahlberg to be honest!

Great screen caps though. Wish I could've seen it!

I get that you don't like him. But the movie is really worth the money. It's definitely not just an RPattz movie. It's a beautiful story. But I won't force you to watch it. roll

Well said Samsy.  I actually prefer RPatz in this than his Twilight role!

I was trying to hide the 9/11 thing for me because I wasn't expecting it until I saw the teacher write the date on the board at the end.  Sometimes though its good for other people to know so that they realize its not just an average romance movie.  I think thats why my parents enjoyed it more than they thought they would.

I find it funny that they didn't translate the title to spanish!  Definately a great cover.

IFC has had a deal with Comcast for about 5 years now.  I don't know why they chose them either.  I'm on Charter myself.  sad

I was just recording a movie on IFC the other night.  I don't know if its a special promotion or if its permanent but I will definately record Life During War Time if it comes up there at the end of the month.

I hope someone has Comcast. I wish I had it. I want to see this movie.

Interesting that comcast would have it on demand and not one of the bigger servers like AT&T.  I use to have comcast right out of college but my area switched to only serving AT&T for contracting purposese.  Grr.  Thank you for the screencap this movie looks very interesting!.

#1073 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 23 Mar 10 :: 02:02

Good to hear about Alice, Tim Burton can be hit or miss for me these days.  I'm kind of over the burton/Depp duo.  The previews look interesting though.  IT was always one of my favorite disneys.

First day back from break = a long day.  A good one, just long.

#1074 Re: Square Eyes » Welcome to the Whedonverse (Buffy/Angel/Etc Appreciation) » 21 Mar 10 :: 22:37

Really crazy.  Didn't realize about Medium and especially forgot the episode about the Lone Gunmen.  How weird is that?

#1075 Re: Square Eyes » "Remember Me" - New Movie » 21 Mar 10 :: 22:36

I don't see this movie as a chick flick at all, but I can see how people do only for the fact that it has Robert Pattinson in it and they want to appeal to the Twilight fans so they will come see the movie.  The previews do make it seem like a bit of a romantic drama.
