And here's the story of how Amber got her nipples pierced. http://fkr.tv/this-one-time-amber-tamblyn/
There were a few different ones on Wireimage, which I've added to the gallery today, along with a few other miscellaneous pics I still had on the backburner: http://www.chris-marquette.com/gallery/ … t=0&page=1
Ravenswood started the other night. Still wondering if I should check it out if I haven't been really into Pretty Little Liars. isn't it in the same "universe"?
I watched the pilot. (Today, in fact.) Not because I was super interested in it, but because Brett Dier (from Bomb Girls) was in it. I've interacted a few times with him on Twitter and Facebook, he's funny. Kind of a clown, really. He does hilarious Vines. So watching it was more out of loyalty to him.
I don't know PLL at all, so I have no idea how they're connected, but I have to admit, I was super bored with Ravenswood. I can appreciate the occasional teenie show (after all, I liked Life Unexpected), but Ravenswood kinda felt like a teen soap that was trying hard to be scary but didn't quite succeed. I think I'm getting a little too fed up with those glossy American shows where they cast 25-year-olds to play high school kids, who all look perfectly styled and dressed. Ugh. So, yeah, I think I'm gonna give the rest of the season a wide berth, Brett or no Brett.
Chris was at the Austin premiere, I found two pics on Twitter:
And a number of pics on Getty: http://www.gettyimages.in/Search/Search … +marquette
I watched the first two episodes of The Tomorrow People, and I quite liked them, but I'm not crazy about the show. In fact, I don't really have any show I'm crazy about this fall. There are certain ones I look more forward to than others (i.e. the Canadian "Played"), but there's nothing where I need to rush home to watch it. Somehow both Nashville and Chicago Fire have lost their touch. Not too impressed with SHIELD, but I will probably keep watching. (And as for The Tomorrow People, I keep seeing Stephen Amell when I look at Robbie, which just confuses my brain.)
Funnily enough, I was really bored with Revolution last season, but am very happy with season 2 so far. Despite the criticism, I think Homeland has come back strong, and the last episode had a nice twist that I did not see coming.
Deb, I'm so sorry about Polly. It went really fast there in the end, it sounded like she would have another few weeks or months. I don't know if that's a good or a bad thing. I will keep you in my thoughts. Sending lots of hugs your way.
Watched "Gravity" in the theater last night. Very minimalistic in some ways, but grand in others. I liked it very much, and it's one of the films that shows you can create excellent entertainment without huge-ass explosions or crude slapstick comedy.
We're already seeing the first early casualties of bad ratings. ABC pulled "Lucky 7" off the air after just two episodes. What a shame, I really liked it. I didn't even really want to watch it, but then I saw that "Bomb Girls" actors Anastasia Phillips and Gabe Grey would be in it (the latter of whom I actually met in person in Toronto last month). The show positively surprised me. I hope they at least burn off the episodes already produced in a stupid Saturday time slot, like they did with "Do No Harm".
"The Glades" was also cancelled after season... uh... 4? I'm not too miffed, I was getting a little bored with that one. Except it kinda sucked that they ended on a huge cliffhanger.
I watched the first two episodes of "Hostages" and was too bored to want to continue watching it. I liked S.H.I.E.L.D., but I'm not crazy about it. Had to show my loyalty to Back Alley Productions and watch the new, Canadian "Played", which I liked enough to want to keep watching. I think that's all the new shows I've checked out so far. I will be watching "The Tomorrow People" as well, I think they start this or next week.
You never know Teejay! Maybe a work trip will pop up??
Probably not. We're big on cost-cutting right now, so overseas trips are very limited, and I don't see anything in our planning right now that could warrant a trip to Dallas next year. But then again, you never know. I've learned never to say never.
Love the photo Teejay!! Beautiful shot!! Where in my country was it taken?? Lol.
Sainte-Marie among the Hurons, near Georgian Bay in Ontario. Quite an interesting place! (And, thanks!)
Well, I'm pretty sure you can count me out.
Deb, you feel like going to Dallas in May next year? Chris is gonna be at the Texas Frightmare Weekend: http://www.texasfrightmareweekend.com/w … ss/guests/ Lindsey, I hope you're going!!!
Yep, I second that (with a photo from Canada)!
Yeah, well, I guess it's the kind of movie he was just doing for the sake of getting a paid job. There, I said it. And Anne? I'm sick too. Came down with my usual post-vacation cold, and, honestly, this movie is the perfect thing to watch when you're lying on the couch, feeling miserable. Hope you get well soon!
Deb, I'm so sorry to hear that. Wish there was something I could do. Sending virtual hugs your way.
I'm watching the movie right now, and, damn, it's BAD. Possibly the worst thing he's done yet, though the one good thing that came out of it is: It proves Chris is still great at comedy.
And why is everyone in this movie shirtless EXCEPT Chris?! Oh, hey, wait, I spoke too soon.
Back from Canada. Totally beat after a crappy overnight flight, but happy since the vacation was fantastic, and I met several really wonderful people. First and foremost, with the help of author Maureen Jennings, I landed the jackpot, cause.... I met with Peter Outerbridge! We basically just hung out at a very laid back café for two hours, and geeked out over ReGenesis, Sherlock and Star Trek. He's super nice and so much fun to talk to!
Of course I have photos, and I'm gonna write up something longer eventually, but I wanted to share this with you guys. That same day I also got to speak to the creator of ReGenesis and in the evening we had dinner with two (minor-ish) Bomb Girls actors (Gabe Grey and Carlyn Burchell) and one of the co-creators (Michael MacLennan). It was such a great trip, and of course the rest of Canada was fabulous too. I also got to visit some of the ReGenesis locations I had staked out before we went, including the building they used as the exterior for the lab. (Which is oddly also used as the police headquarters in Cracked.)
PS: I can't believe this actually all happened. Meeting Chris was already super cool and very special, and this was just as special, if maybe not a little more special cause it wasn't an official interview or anything. Just us talking over coffee. Every fangirl's dream.
Welcome, Graham, and thanks for posting. Maybe we should quickly explain for the people who weren't privy to our e-mail conversation: Graham is Graham Pressley. He's the one that Chris's character Keith Stratten was based on. I'm sure I can come up with a ton of questions for you, Graham, but I'm off on vacation on Sunday, and will be pretty much AWOL for two weeks.
Hopefully we can talk a bit more when I'm back in October, and hopefully I'll come back here and find lots of interesting conversations!
Thanks for posting all the links, I'll be sure to check them out when I get a breather. We have a Twitter account too, but I don't know if you're interested in following what goes on around Chris Marquette. If so, you can find us here: www.twitter.com/cmarquettefans.
You know your obsessed with Chris if......you considered naming your gerbils Adam and Rove (lol)
One of my older computers was named Rove.
I was gonna ask Larry.
It's worth a try, though I thought he only had a Wireimage account, and not Getty. But now that they're both merged, maybe he can get Getty stuff too.
... just to tide us over until we can get the high-res originals...
Does anyone know how to get those? Cause I don't...
The original link from the very first post in this thread still works, but only on a computer and not on mobile: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zAHiV9yCoUg
Can someone post links please?
www.twitter.com/cmarquettefans Just scroll through the tweets and click 'View photo' or click the instagram.com link where the tweets have that link.
Check out our Twitter account, I just retweeted a whole bunch of photos that people posted who had a shot taken with Chris at Horrorhound. Some are really cute, and there's a very funny one where he feigns exhaustion. Wish I had more time to ask for permission to repost, but I guess it'll have to wait until after my Canada trip.
Bad Country trailer: http://www.traileraddict.com/trailer/ba … ry/trailer Chris is in it, but not too much. He's not credited. Looks like he plays a cop, but I don't expect it to be a prominent role.
