It was great!  I enjoyed it! There are some definite Joss Whedon lines in there.  Great cast.

Interesting, wonder how that happened!

Good to know abt Dads, I won't bother watching it.

I loooved Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D  big_smile

American Horror Story creeped me out too, but it was too good not to watch.  I usually followed it with a comedy!  tongue

I'm so excited for the new season to start!  I haven't heard the best reviews on sleepy hollow or dads but I hear brooklyn nine-nine is hilarious!  Can't wait to watch.

Castle, Revenge and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. are all new this week!  smile

When am I going to have time for all this?

I decided on the paperwhite over the fire because I didn't want to be distracted by tv and everything else.  The paperwhite is a serious eReadeer.  I know that Barnes and Nobles quit making their nook books so that's why I chose to go with it.  Plus it was a great price.

Definitely agree Deb smile I share the same sentiment!  I have some friends that just moved to Atlanta, I'm thinking of visiting them soon, probably the summer.  When they moved I immediately thought of you!  I'll keep you posted!  wink

agreed.  I like the supernatural concept, hadn't thought of that but your completely right.  You'll like Like Crazy then, to me it was a 'real' romantic coming of age stories about too young couples that fall in love and make mistakes as a result.  Sometimes I think romance movies give people a fantastical experience.  Not often do they really show the difficult sides and how to overcome them, that's real love to me anyways.

Oh Maria, I just saw this!  Has your cat reappeared?

Elinor was my alarm clock yesterday. I set my alarm at 4:30 to get up by 5:15.  I was so tired that I slept through my second and third alarm and the next think I know she was on my stomach licking my face and it was 5:45.  Luckily I prepared my lunch and showered the night before so I wasn't late for work.  She was a good alarm clock  wink

aww.  We should all take a trip!  An excuse to travel and see each other!

I just pre-ordered the knew kindle paperwhite! I'm excited.  I decided not to get the fire because I don't want to be distracted by tv all the time.

I'd like to visit too, lets go!  lol My brother and sister in law are there now.  So jealous.

my students were off the walls this morning.  So hyper, talkative and just not listening.  Gave me a headache about 11:00 and I didn't think I was going to make it through the day.  My afternoon reading groups went well though, much calmer so I survived!  So glad its the weekend!  Bring it on smile  We all needed it to be here I think!

Loved hearing your stories and yes it definitely brought people together and changed lives!  Been lucky to meet Tina randomly on a Texas visit! maybe I'll meet some of you too! smile

I didn't realize the anniversary is coming up.  I'll have to watch a few episodes to celebrate! wink

I liked Like Crazy, coming of age romance but its a more serious one than romantic.   Great acting by both leads.  Lots of angst so be prepared smile

I pre-ordered Much Ado About Nothing with a gift card a friend gave me and I hope to get Grimm Season 2!

Have fun in Canada! My brother & sister-in-law will be there too smile  I've always wanted to go to Vancouver!

I could so use a four day weekend, a three day weekend is nice but a four day weekend would be complete bliss!

It's Elinor's birthday today! Grade Level night didn't stop us from celebrating! A little walk, a play date in the courtyard, a treat and new toy was just the way to celebrate turning one and ending the day smile  Even with all the trips to the vet and her insane amount of energy I'm glad to have this one...

#123 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 26 Aug 13 :: 01:32

Thank you everyone!  For my birthday my family and I saw 'Book of Mormon' it was AMAZING!  If it comes to your neighborhood definitely check it out!

#124 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 23 Aug 13 :: 05:21

Thank you guys! Such a great day with hugs, songs and notes from my wonderful students.  Wouldn't have had it any other way!

#125 Re: Square Eyes » TV Discussion Thread » 18 Aug 13 :: 23:55

^ Teejay, since its streaming on demand through netflix I'm not sure if it will go to dvd... Netflix's goal is to get more subscribers through these new tv series they are producing.  Fingers crossed though!

I'm looking forward to Grimm... I just saw a trailer for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, of course I'm excited about is as Joss Whedon participates in it! smile
