I have to agree with Tina. On everything she just said. KInda ruined the movie that one...

#1227 Re: Square Eyes » And yet another remake. Disney remaking 3 Men and a Baby » 03 Apr 09 :: 12:56

Haha! lol Good one. I'd love to see a remake of this with Chris, Aaron and Mike! wink

Oh, I want that book! :drool:

Wait, what? His character in Huff was James CULLEN? lol

#1229 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 31 Mar 09 :: 07:54

Your avatar is so cute! ♥

Here all is... well not fine but getting there... I ran out of my GERD (Yeah I got a diagnosis of some kind.. it's not dangerous, it just feels worse  than it is.. If you google it with capital letters, you'll see what it is.. shortly: heartburn form hell..it's made some short of infection on my gullet too..) med last thursday so I'm feeling kinda crappy again.. Should get some more today... Just had to push away half a bowl of cerial, cause I really feel like I can't eat anything more... Not only do I feel like I might hurl; my wisdom teeth on the right are acting up... One of them grew out more just a while ago and it's a bit croocked so it's hurting my gums... hard to chew on top of it too.. Nice..... Who's poking pins on a Cappu-shaped voodoo-doll? roll Damn it, I might have to call a dentist soon and get that ripped off... More money down the drain then... ugh..

To take my mind off these crappy things I've been watching loads of SPN... On forth season now.. again. And I've got some shorta project going on but I can't tell you about that. tongue My kids are just as nuts as always. lol I've got my usual ups and downs with the hubs.. The spring is here! big_smile Some roads are dry already. Or was. It snowed a bit the other day and got really cold so some of the roads are pretty icy and crappy now.. Since the snow on them was all mushy and wet when people drove in it and then it suddenly got really cold and it froze; so now it's full of ruts. Huges holes and tire marks. It feels like driving on a field. But I don't mind. It just means that the summer is that much closer. big_smile

#1230 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Your Top 5 » 31 Mar 09 :: 07:37

This is a nice thread. I was just thinking the other day on FB, when there was an application where I could choose my top 5 actors. They didn't have Chris listed there so I didn't do it. Duh! Wouldn't have been a very truthful list when my number one wasn't there! wink I don't know who to put on places 2-5.. Maybe some TwiMen.. That new actor for Paul is sooooo... making me howl... :embarrassed: I guess he's over 18 so I shouldn't feel like a cougar... If based on talent and not looks, I'd say Rob would fall to place number 4 or 5... Maybe this is how that list would go (sorry for lack of pics)..

1. Chris (talents and hots in the same package!) :drool:
2. Jet Li
3. Michael Angarano
4. Rob Pattinson
5. Seth Green (gotta have my favorite red head on this list!)

OK, pretty wacked up list.. pretty young most of them.. I just woke up and my head isn't working right yet so that's what I come up with... I can't even remember the name of that one actor I wanted to put in the top 3...

#1231 Re: Chris On Screen » Life During Wartime (STRONG LANGUAGE - ADULT CONTENT) » 27 Mar 09 :: 12:28

I had that Forgiveness song playing on my head too every freaking time I saw Forgiveness mentioned in Chris' credits! lol

This movie seems good. I wonder when I can see it... hmm

#1232 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 27 Mar 09 :: 12:25

I'm loving these goofy animal pics lol The one with squirrels looks like some people taking a group picture. Hilarious!

Nothing new with me. Same old, same old. Well, a bit healthier I guess. big_smile I hang out in FB way too much and I'm having a Supernatural marathon from the start. I'm half way thru now. big_smile I'm drooling over Jensen Ackles. I even suffered thru Devour to drool over him. The movie had a crappy script but Jensen's acting was great in it! big_smile

See, I told you I was gonna get tired of my eye and dig up some Chris-sig I've managed to doodle...

Interview with Mike; about Twilight and his career. big_smile

#1235 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 20 Mar 09 :: 22:40

Hey, Simon. big_smile Um.. I had many names coming to my mind, but they were too m uch alike, I think.. Like.. Darren and Darryll.. Gil and Will.. Chaz and Chad.. Um.. Maybe I'm just too tired.. lol Or maybe I'm just hogging all the good names for my own stories... MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAA (Dr. Evil laughter)

I hope you guys don't mind my new sig... it's my eye. My eyes are the only thing beautiful in me so I like to show them of! wink Um... That one just turned out so good.. Kinda Twilightish....?? I made it as an Avi for TwiLex but I wanted to show it for you guys too... Now I feel like I'm begging for attention and feel ashamed of myself.. I'm sure, I'll regret soon and use another Chris-sig instead. big_smile

#1236 Re: Chris On Screen » Fanboys » 20 Mar 09 :: 22:28

I liked that video. Is there any other new Chris clips I might have missed in the past month or so...?

#1237 Re: Square Eyes » Natasha » 20 Mar 09 :: 22:10

This might be the first I know of her, but it's always sad when people die; especially one with young kids. I checked her movies on IMDB too, but I don't think I've seen any of them but Nell ages ago. She does look a bit familliar...

My heart aches for her family.

#1238 Re: Square Eyes » Post your recent DVD purchases » 08 Mar 09 :: 14:12

I've bought a lot of DVD's in these past few months.. Latest was a bunch of asian films. A box by the Pong brothers with four horror movies. Then two Ekin Cheng movies. I like him big_smile Jackie Chan had a small role in one of them: The Twins effect. The other one was The Duel. I literally rolledd with laughter watching The Twins effect. Funniest vampire movie ever! :rofl:

#1239 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 26 Feb 09 :: 10:51

That was some seriously bad driving... lol

I've got the flu too.. Ever since sunday. Now I'm thinking maybe I don't have the flu, maybe it's just a cold. It's a bit better now that I've stayed in for two days. I must have got my legs wet sunday and again on monday.. Snow storm both days.. And I've got crappy shoes but I always forget to buy new ones.. And I'm a bit reluctant to let go of my crappy shoes because I find it easier to drive the car with them.. Thehehe.. lol

Busy day today. Shopping, cleaning, a birthday to go to, hubs friend coming over tonight for few days.. I slept pretty bad last night thanks to my youngest kid, so I'm very tired. I wonder how much my weary eyes are going to hurt when I go driving in all that sunlight. Such beautiful day again, third one on the row. Makes my smile wide. big_smile

#1240 Re: Square Eyes » Twilight (contains spoilers for all books and the movies) » 23 Feb 09 :: 11:29

I finally saw Twilight in theater yesterday. It was almost like having my own private showing since there was only six other people there. And I had the best seat. big_smile I still like the movie the same as before: first half was stiff and made me think it was badly done; second half I loved. I'm starting to see the movies and the books as separate things; don't compare them so much anymore. Of course it was expected that the movie wouldn't be as good as the books. The movie didn't look that much different that my torrent, but I noticed there was 10-20 seconds in the kissing scene that was missing from the torrent; and the final credits of course. It was a nice experience. Two hours just for me to relax... big_smile

The weather was horrid when I drove back home. Icy and a small snow storm. Our car is really crappy in situations when I have to stop on icy crossroads and start going again... I guess I've got my reflexes to thank again for getting back home in one piece..

#1241 Re: Joan of Arcadia » Random JoA Stuff... » 21 Feb 09 :: 10:52

It is a great show. And I agree about having to see it from the start. Before the third season started I couldn't remember properly the first two so I had a fun week watching it all the way from the start. After that I've pretty much aced all the questions in FB's Heroes-quiz. lol

#1243 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 21 Feb 09 :: 10:36

Oh I'm sorry about your cat too. She's had quite a long life. You're lucky to have had her around that long. *hugsie*
What's up with everybody's cats getting sick lately..

#1244 Re: Joan of Arcadia » Random JoA Stuff... » 20 Feb 09 :: 13:10

OK, lets start spamming the Heroes-makers with "We want Chris"-mail. lol

Actually he looks enough like Mark Parkman and his dad to play his brother. wink Mindcontrol runs in that family!

#1245 Re: Joan of Arcadia » Random JoA Stuff... » 18 Feb 09 :: 18:36

Yeah, he really does! big_smile Chris with superpowers.. grrr... :drool:
What superpower would suit him the best? wink
Actually he should have Dan's role, because Dan's superpower is SMOKIN' HOT.  :silly: Seriously, he can make things boil or explode by pointing his hand in that direction. Kinda what Chris does for all Dorquettes, huh? lol

#1246 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 18 Feb 09 :: 18:32

I think Finnish healh care sucks these days. They're trying to save money in everything. The doctor even made a small speech about how this is a small, harmless and usually painless procedure that doesn't need sedatives... roll:angry: I'm now pretty sure if I ever have to have another thing like that done; I'll go to a private practice... which is pretty unusual in Finland; atleast in Lapland. They've only just last year opened two private practices in this town.. I guess they sensed an opening business chance here. People getting a bit anxious about the way things roll now..

#1247 Re: Joan of Arcadia » Random JoA Stuff... » 18 Feb 09 :: 14:32

Dan Byrd (stuttering boy from JOA episode where she says "dying to be an elegant moroon") is in new episodes of Heroes. He's got superpowers! lol Episodes 3x15 and 16. big_smile

#1248 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 18 Feb 09 :: 13:36

Yeah.. I meant to tell you guys this too.. I hope it isn't too gross on some parts.. I don't mean to whine and I don't expect any responses.. I just thought to give you an update since I told you I was having this..

I just got home a while ago from my gastroscopia.. Jeez, that was the most horrid experience of my life; including three labors! yikes I puked everytime they moved the tube.. So I guess I was a bad patient.. :embarrassed: But for my excuse: the only thing they gave to help the preceeder was a too small doze of something to numb my throat.. My throat kept cramping around the tube.. It has a sore spot and I feel like vommiting everytime I swallow. I'm hungry as a wolf.. Last time I ate something solid was about 15 hours ago. Just got down some tomatosoup..

The doctor said my insides look beautiful! big_smile There was four polyps (presumably harmless) that they took samples of and some other samples too. The doc said my stomach looks pretty ok, but there can still be something that they couldn't see; thus the tests on the samples.. And a sonogram. The very thing I asked for when I saw the doctor in December.. So now I'm in another line... for the songram I mean... The Scopia-doctor was very worried about me and my easy vommiting.. She gave me some medication for (serious case of) acid dyspepsia as a test medication. If it works, there's some answers right there. I hope it really is something that easy...
