Hahaha it really hasnt done itself any favours with that poster. YIKES. But but but being the good girl, I will wait to hear your opinion Deb before I dismiss this movie completely. I don't even see the demographic they are trying to appeal to with that poster....*sigh* sometimes I worry about the industry that pays so much money for things but drops the ball on something like that

#152 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 06 Jan 11 :: 19:54

Hahaha in the end it sounds like you had a HUGE day. I am glad things are working out though smile

If you have a bad knee then let them know straight away...things like that need to be looked after or else YIKES! My sister in law has had so many knee issues, used to be from playing basketball and she never looked after it and now her knees are terrible! I think I will need to join a gym when I eventually get back home. Traveling means you dont cook for yourself...so its ALWAYS too much fat and sugar and flavour, and then you want it right then and there and easy. *sigh* I have got some travel weight to lose when this is all over smile But I agree with you, smaller gyms are much nicer. That and I feel bad when they greet you by name...makes me go more often because they notice when I havent been. I am just happy to hear some good news from you. I am glad it all worked out with you coming out as bi-sexual. Thats AWESOME. smile Ok I am in a good and talkative mood, sorry.

P.S. If you ever get the chance to visit Vienna WOW do it! This city is soooooo pretty its ridiculous!

I fell asleep while watching the first one....hahaha don't know if I can be bothered watching that again to watch the second one or what not. But Sprague Grayden is rather cool. Haha it is mini reunions everywhere....but its good...means they are all working smile

Happy New Year friends!!!!

#155 Re: Square Eyes » Misc Stuff » 29 Dec 10 :: 15:56

Yeah I started getting into White Collar myself. Who could not fall for Neal Caffrey wink Its nice to hear that he is starting to do well for himself. He does that part perfectly

#156 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 28 Dec 10 :: 20:02

I hear spaniels often have problems with their ears, usually from them being so long and fluffy getting dirty and then infecting the inner ear....but I agree with Deb. And if you get them around January you usually can find many puppies (Santa didnt think it through when buying the family a puppy and so it gets dumped) Both are super cute and every spaniel I have met has been a very loyal and happy dog, but then alot does come down to the owner. I have met the sweetest Bulldogs and the most vicious Collie dogs....So breed doesnt always determine what a dog will be like.

This is a post titled "Was 2010 the Worst Year for Movies Ever?" I found this really interesting....it does seem to be VERY vague and dismissive, but I do agree with his general point of Hollywood has given up actually THINKING about the movies they are making and just doing the "safe" thing.

#159 Re: The Bullhorn » Merry Christmas! » 25 Dec 10 :: 17:16

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you are all enjoying your day even if you dont have much planned, I hope you enjoy the time off...

#160 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 24 Dec 10 :: 20:19

I am really enjoying it so far. Although sadly due to Christmas alot of places have so far been closed. But that is ok. I am here for a few more days anyway smile The tour today was pretty cool though. Went on a walking tour all about the third reich. I am glad I didnt go on that tour over Christmas though!

#161 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 24 Dec 10 :: 11:19

I have read the books but it was so long ago I will have to read them again.... I didnt even realise there was another Narnia movie out... Hahaha I guess you dont get to see ads while traveling. Anyway I just wanted to let everyone know that I have now made it to Berlin. YAY train was only half an hour delayed. Thats practically on time! And I had a seat for most of the journey too. I dont know what everyone is worried about. Anyway I hope you all get to where you need to be this Christmas safely. I could wish everyone a Merry Christmas now, but I would even be a day early in Australia, so gonna wait for the real thing smile Love you guys! xoxox

#162 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 16 Dec 10 :: 21:36

I agree with you TeeJay, however it has most definitely caused issues with going where I want to go. So I am already over it right now. Although a white christmas would be very nice to experience at least once

#163 Re: Square Eyes » Post your recent DVD purchases » 16 Dec 10 :: 21:33

Hahaha well I WOULD have given you a proper hug but you are rather far away from where I am right now, so mental hug will have to do. Its like a virtual hug

#164 Re: Square Eyes » Post your recent DVD purchases » 16 Dec 10 :: 01:15

That would be brilliant smile thanks Deb. Honestly my trip wouldnt be the same without knowing you! *mental hugs* I am sending you hugs from my brain!! I think I might need sleep instead of going through my London photos to upload hahaha

#165 Re: Square Eyes » Post your recent DVD purchases » 16 Dec 10 :: 00:39

I have 4 nights booked, but I wont get in until tomorrow around 4 in the afternoon so I wont get to do much for one of the days. I will be staying in Brussels but I am hoping to pull a day trip to Bruges. Where is your friend Joe?

#166 Re: Square Eyes » Post your recent DVD purchases » 16 Dec 10 :: 00:17

Hehehe well then looks like I may not see it after all. Although watching a movie with dubbing could be cool! Even if I didnt understand it. I think it would only be fun if I knew the movie well enough to not need to hear the English though. I am going to Belgium tomorrow on the train smile Should be awesome and amazing and all the rest of it. London is brilliant. I really do like this place, although it has got to be one of the more expensive places to live. YIKES!

#167 Re: Square Eyes » Post your recent DVD purchases » 15 Dec 10 :: 23:36

I hate people like that TeeJay....just me angry and worked up. But I am glad to see the twilight dvds are making the rounds. I havent bought them myself actually. I have watched the movies and liked them....but honestly dont think I liked them that much that I want to own them. There is still more movies to come!

I actually really wanna see the new Harry Potter in cinemas, but I may have to take a day off travelling to do it. I dont think it will still be in cinemas by the time I get home sad (completely random and off topic I know, but this is how my brain works haha)

#168 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 15 Dec 10 :: 15:18

So cute doggies!

I will also be spending my first Christmas and NYE on my lonesome. Should be interesting. I am used to a "small" christmas being carted around Melbourne to my mothers side of the family for lunch and my fathers side for dinner. If I see less than 20 family members its a small christmas. So I am just hoping I dont end up crying!

Deb, a little birdy told me that you should be watching your mailbox wink

Anyway I should be off, there is always more of London to see.

Oh and I got my new credit card in the mail today! YAY! Stupid people that steal money...I have also got most of it back. There is still $900 that the bank appears to have not paid me back for yet, but I think they will. Its just a matter of time, but I got close to $3000 back already. PHEW!

Anyway dorquettes, shall message again soon!

#169 Re: Introduce Yourself » Heyy! » 10 Dec 10 :: 14:39

Hey Ashley!! Always nice to meet a fellow fan. I am glad you found your way onto the board here smile Welcome welcome welcome

#170 Re: Chris On Screen » Fanboys » 10 Dec 10 :: 14:34

Wow, really Deb? That is most definitely something to be jealous about. Hahaha you better get working on meeting Jay though so you can say you have done it all!

#171 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Road Trippin' » 10 Dec 10 :: 14:32

Oh sorry to hear that TeeJay!! Mine is just feeling run down and sore throat, honestly I think I just enjoy complaining. I really hope you start feeling better smile

#172 Re: All About Chris » December is... » 09 Dec 10 :: 18:45

Nobody is cuter than Carl.....*sigh*

#173 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 08 Dec 10 :: 20:01

Haha I know what you mean. I have been without a mobile phone since the US and it is the most bizarre feeling. But I am not sure whether I should get one or not. I have coped without one so far, but there are a few people that I want to meet up with in London and it might get tricky without a phone for contact. At least I still have the internet. *sigh* what would I do without you!

#174 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Road Trippin' » 08 Dec 10 :: 19:58

Hahaha yup I am in Dublin! Tomorrow its a tour of the Guinness factory. But the day after and I am off to London! This is the most insane trip. And I think I mayyyy have tonsillitis. Which has made me wanna cry. Being sick and traveling is just terrible. At least at home you can curl up and drink hot tea until it all goes away. But I am just forcing my body through it which may not be the best plan but oh well. Dublin is not nearly as exciting as I was hoping for. All the Irish I have met back home have been amongst the best people I have ever met. I get here and honestly they are quite stand-off-ish....but then again it is rather cold right now. Hmmm we shall see what I think after the pub crawl tonight. Maybe it just takes a few drinks for everyone to warm up wink

#175 Re: Chris On Screen » Fanboys » 06 Dec 10 :: 18:36

The photos do look like you both had such a great time! smile
