I'll be at the 1:50 pm Superbad showing over here, and I'll definitely be early.
Haha, Kristen Bell is totally adorable.
Aw, bummer. I'll keep my eye out for ya
LOL, I was so pissed when the Chosen Collection came out. We had spent so much more than $150 on all the seasons we already had. And plus, it's pretty.
And yeah Deb, you might want to check all of the music/movie stores that do trades, I've found a lot of good TV shows in places like that for much less than what they go for at the popular stores.
It was really hard for me to warm up to Tara, being such a huge Oz fan. I was in sixth grade when Wild at Heart and New Moon Rising aired, I remember it pretty vividly. I think I still have a Willow & Oz shirt somewhere in storage, along with their action figures. Buffy was the first thing I got really geeky about, lol.
I missed this one in theaters, so I'm glad it's finally out on DVD. I'll have to pick it up next time I go out DVD shopping
Seth Green is a Midget God! He needs to do something with Chris. And Seth Rogen.
Gah! I would *love* that.
I've been through the entire series only twice, once when they aired and once on DVD. Joe and I just started, but we've been watching 4-6 episodes a day. Some of my favorites off the top of my head would have to be "Phases", "Earshot", "Hush", "The Body", "Once More With Feeling", "Tabula Rasa"....the list goes on...
I actually "got" the show really early on. I still remember watching the first episode with my Dad and everything. It was probably the first television show that I kept up with each week whether anyone was watching it with me or not. Prior to that I'd just flip the channels until I found something good. Having said that, it was probably around the episodes "Surprise" and "Innocence" (where Angel goes bad) that I really, really got into it and started understanding and loving the characters. I totally remember sobbing at the end of the second season.
Gah, yeah, the cast of Buffy is so great. And the fact that you think Oz is yummy just makes me realize exactly how much we'd get along in real life, lol.
Arrested Development had an amazing cast as well, they all brought the funny in a big way.
My brother and I are doing a huge Buffy marathon at the moment actually. I started watching the show when it first aired, making me around 8 years old, and it took me this long to convince him to start watching it with me. And of course, he loves it. We just finished "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered".
These are in no order...
1. Edward Norton
2. Joseph Gordon-Levitt
3. Chris Marquette
4. Michael Cera
5. Shia LaBeouf
Welcome to the board Noah!
LOL Deb, I'm going to laugh if Chris and Shia are cast in the same movie one day and you're forced to watch Shia in something
But I appreciate the offer, Brenna.
No problem.
Oh, THAT one. I thought we were talking about a different one. Yeah, that was a pretty amazing ep. I taped it. It wasn't regular L&O. Wasn't it CI, Brenna? Geez, I can't even remember anymore.
I believe it was SVU.
That goes for anyone else who wants it as well
I think I've still got that episode on my computer TeeJay. Deb posted about it while it was airing, it has the girl who played Iris on JoA in it as well. If you want to see it, let me know. I'll find a way to get it to you
Nice! Superbad is going to be amazing, I've had friends who saw screenings and absolutely loved it. Now there's yet another reason for me to anticipate Friday!
Hahaha! That's weird, I wouldn't imagine Michael to be a hairy guy.
Hahaha, good question Deb. He did look a bit ragged at the panel, but cute nonetheless.
Wow, Michael is really working these days. I wonder where he finds the time to do all of the guest spots he does since he's taking parts in so many films these days.
Anyways, I'll definitely be watching that episode.
Ah yeah! A friend introduced me to Porcupine Tree about a year and a half ago and I've slowly been collecting all of their albums. They're awesome.
I can't wait to see this one. I love both of those boys and from what I heard, I think the movie will really entertain me. I expect some great things to come from Michael, what will all of his upcoming projects and his superb abilities in front of the camera.
I'm with you TeeJay, the epilogue just didn't work for me. Far too corny. I loved the rest of the book though, it was definitely one of my favorites from the entire series. I can't decide whether I liked Order of the Phoenix or this last one more, though. I was pretty sad by the end of Deathly Hallows, I've been reading since I was around ten or so, and now there's no new HP book to anticipate . I would have been worse off a few years ago though, back when I had Gryffindor bedsheets.
