#251 Re: Square Eyes » Post your recent DVD purchases » 11 Jan 08 :: 08:10

I didn't purchase this, but my friend (guy, mind you) got me a late Christmas gift and it was the Suite Life of Zack and Cody DVD (still wrapped). I felt a little odd 'cuz though I watch it occasionally, I'm not a huge fan. If anything, he should have gotten me a Hannah Montana DVD! Haha. I dislike Hannah/Miley Cyrus so much, but Lily/Emily Osment, Jackson/Jason Earles, and Oliver/Mitchel Musso make the show so much better and fun ;D

I bet iPhones will go down since technology constantly changes. I cannot wait! It'll be a lot better than what I have right now (though it beats the Zack Morris phone and this old school, fat phone I had 'till I was a graduating senior):

I just need a phone that have a camera, allow me to have audios as my ring tones (without costing anything) and the internet- the perfect phone ever!

#253 Re: Joan of Arcadia » best JoA moments » 11 Jan 08 :: 07:53

But I want you to get started, Deb!

And that's cool, Deedee! If it started playing here, I'd for sure never get anything done. I have the tendency to watch movies/shows/vids all over again when I have it on DVD/tape.

#254 Re: All About Chris » How tall is Chris? » 11 Jan 08 :: 07:49

I guess we all like to pretend we're 5', haha. I for sure put that on my driver's license! Aww, your friend is so awesome. Shorties UNITE!

#255 Re: All About Chris » Chris & Kyle Newman Interviewed On Internet Radio This Weekend! » 11 Jan 08 :: 07:47

Thanks for the heads up, Deb! I will DEFINITELY cross my fingers and hope they do start filming come summer time (I found out that my mom wants to visit Cambodia and Thailand ;P) Ohh, I hope! I hope!

#256 Re: Joan of Arcadia » best JoA moments » 10 Jan 08 :: 23:48

I put all my favorite moments on my iPOD, but I am so saddened no one have my other favorite clip where Joan put her injured foot on Adam's thigh!

I also put some fan vids and one had that scene, so that made up for it.

Just wanted to share.

It's lovely hearing Adam/Chris speak with headphones on. Oh, so deep and sexy.

#257 Re: All About Chris » How tall is Chris? » 10 Jan 08 :: 23:45

Really, shoothoop? I just saw that you're a '90s kid, so yeh, you do have time to grow!

I'm 20 and I'm 4'11 sad I say that I'm 5'0, so we'll stick with that ;P High heels should be my friend, but we don't get along.

So how tall are you, Laura? If you don't mind posting.

#258 Re: All About Chris » Chris & Kyle Newman Interviewed On Internet Radio This Weekend! » 10 Jan 08 :: 23:41

Aw, HELLO CHRIS! Teejay, did you get a chance to ask him what happened with Pinkville since Deb's latest news on the [lack of] production?

*crossfingersthateverythingwillworkoutandshootingstartsthissummer*

EDIT: Thanks for passing the message along ;P

The internet is great. I've seen people with PDAs/iPhones/whatever and I really want one- and I don't even like and care for phones! I just like being connected all the time. I hope there's going to be virtual cafes some day.

#260 Re: Square Eyes » Great Movies I Saw This Year » 08 Jan 08 :: 07:08

DEB!! It's playing When A Stranger Calls today on erm.. Cinemax? I've never seen it, but that was the movie I was thinking about in regards to your dream. And thanks for that little fact; I did not know it was a Canadian TV movie. It was playing a lot on Starz or so.

#262 Re: Square Eyes » Superbad » 08 Jan 08 :: 07:01

Cera and Apatow are decent actors big_smile And yes, Melody, you should!! If anything, I'm sure you'll enjoy the extras.

#263 Re: Square Eyes » Great Movies I Saw This Year » 08 Jan 08 :: 06:58

Yeah, I think so. The one with Justin Chambers was ehhhh (I didn't even get to finish it), but the one with Jake was soo good!

#264 Re: Square Eyes » 55 Must See movies of 2008 » 08 Jan 08 :: 06:54

Ohyeah, I know. Listening to both her and Joe on the Joan commentary surprised me. They're so chill and cool! I think she said she even introduced the film to everyone.. Not too sure.

#265 Re: Chris On Screen » Oliver Stone's Pinkville » 08 Jan 08 :: 06:52

WHAT!!! NO!! I guess they aren't even going to bother finding another actor to take his place? C'mon nowwwwww. Bleepin' A.

#267 Re: Square Eyes » 55 Must See movies of 2008 » 07 Jan 08 :: 21:16

YEAH, DEB! That was a great way of putting it. That movie surely surprised me too! Except Epic Movie. I knew it was going to be stupid and it was. At least I saw it on TV.

Napoleon Dynamite was a film I had way high expectations for and was let down. I can't believe Mary Steenburgen seen the film 4x or so. But then, we all have different tastes; the beauty of the world.

i would make a lousy journalist. i have no questions. i would just like to talk to him to see how he thinks.

I guess we both would like to get inside.. his mind ;P

#269 Re: Square Eyes » Great Movies I Saw This Year » 07 Jan 08 :: 21:00

Hahaha, yeah, maybe that's it, Deb. I stretch interpretations too far sometimes.

Irina, which Zodiac are you talking about? The one with Jake Gyllenhaal or the older one with Justin Chambers?

#270 Re: Square Eyes » 55 Must See movies of 2008 » 07 Jan 08 :: 20:56

I think H&K2 can actually be stupid funny (since the trailer was). I was so against the first one initially, but it was quite hilarious and I actually got something out of it. Plus, Kal Penn was really sweet and nice when I met him, soooooooooo that's a major bonus. Yeah, yeah, that doesn't really pertain to the film and why I want to see it, but if someone's nice to me, I try to do a little good deed for them as well. I'm giving him my ~10$ ;P He's actually a fine actor; he just needs to stop being in such dumb, teen movies- like The Namesake.

#271 Re: All About Chris » Chris & Kyle Newman Interviewed On Internet Radio This Weekend! » 07 Jan 08 :: 03:02

LMAO!! OMGG!!! That's so great! Awesome manip, TeeJay. ROFL! He also kind of look like those Asian guys in the old school, martial arts films. Excellent job with the little details though. Very, very impressive.

His response was too adorable. HIS GIGGLE! *Pitter patter.* Thanks for posting them, Deb.

And that was a nice comment from Jamey to you guys. You guys are dandy.

#272 Re: Chris On Screen » Oliver Stone's Pinkville » 07 Jan 08 :: 02:56

HAH! That's so true. Hopefully he has a lot of screen time. I'm guessing the Meadlo character does, right?

#273 Re: Square Eyes » The Lake House » 07 Jan 08 :: 02:52

I think I would have had more DVDs if I had a bigger rack for it.

#274 Re: Square Eyes » 55 Must See movies of 2008 » 07 Jan 08 :: 02:50

I only read The Lovely Bones because it was on the HS summer list ;/ It was a good book though.

Hahaha, I've seen that poster, Deb! He looks.. interesting. I just can't wait to see Kal Penn. He's so awesome.

#275 Re: Joan of Arcadia » best JoA moments » 07 Jan 08 :: 02:43

Hahaha, same. That deep, oh, so sexy voice. Mmmm.
