Most definitely. I'd totally pay to see Chris do some kareoke, haha.

#327 Re: All About Chris » The Latest » 26 Apr 07 :: 05:37

I wasn't sure if I should have created another thread for this, so I'm posting it here for now. Chris was at the LA screening of Amber Tambyln's new movie "Stephanie Daley" yesterday with Diana Gaeta.

Here's the only picture I can find so far smile

Too cute!

Guy's
At first, Guy's seems like an exclusive bar open only to young Hollywood elite, CAA assistants, or people who look like they're on "The Hills." Don't be discouraged: they may be exclusive, but they're a welcoming bunch.

Tucked into an unremarkable block near Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and the Beverly Center, Guy's is easy to miss unless you know to look for it—and that's just how the clientele and management like it. The intimate space and all-black interior enhance the privacy Guy's prides itself on, but the really juicy drama always manages to leak out, like the time Lindsay Lohan freaked out when Danny Masterson wouldn't let her into his weekly Sunday jazz night Kid's Cotton Club. And while Christina Aguilera has been known to jump up and sing along with the jazz band, no one is allowed to sing one of her songs during karaoke night, which takes place most Tuesdays—not even Nicole Richie, who has been known to belt out quite a tune while wearing her underpants over her jeans. Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher are fans of Guy's, as are the NBA's finest players. But the ballers and the power players are balanced out by a regular crowd of in-the-know locals who slide right past the velvet rope so long as the pearly whites are showing. And a little cleavage never hurts.—Tara Tyson

Hahaha, Deb, you rock for finding this! Oh man, sounds like a blast. And this comes from someone who seriously despises partying, lol

Wow, guys, I've got another Chris interview that I just found. This one is awesome -- they've got an MP3 so  you can listen to it as well. I'll let you all listen to it before I comment on it big_smile

I really need to get into this show. I've seen a couple episodes and it looks like something I would love.

Have you all heard that Chris Lowell is going to be in the spin-off? Another reason for me to watch wink

Heads-up, gals!  RosenKratz over on IMDb says there's a new video interview with Chris at IESB.  Let's see who can find it and post it first!  Ready, set, go!

Here it is: http://iesb.net/index.php?option=com_xe … ail&id=543. Do I win something? lol.

Really cool interview they've got there - Chris looks really good. All this publicity stuff is getting me really excited.

Ah yeah, I saw that too Deb. Looks like a pretty pivotal Chris moment. Gah, I can't wait!!

I found an interview with David S. Goyer over at ComingSoon.net this morning. Chris is briefly mentioned, but he has really nice things to say about him. Here's the link: http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=20025.

CS: I assume Christopher Marquette isn't doing his usual comic sidekick thing in this movie?
Goyer: No, Chris is great. I'd been aware of him in other movies and on TV shows, so I had actively pursued him and asked my casting director to see if he would come in for it. He's an incredible actor...

Nothing we don't know already, but still pretty sweet smile

You bet smile

I really hope Graduation does well in Houston, that way we get a wider release sooner rather than later.

#335 Re: Chris On Screen » Graduation » 24 Apr 07 :: 09:01

I found a review of Graduation over at http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/hea … 40968.html.

Here's what they had to say about Chris:
As Carl (whose mother is ill), Chris Marquette looks like a young John Cusack and shows similar stoic charm. Marquette's Carl is Graduation's emotional heart, but he never takes the character into gooey sentimentality.

It sounds awesome - can't wait to see it. big_smile

Good to have you back Deb! The boards were definitely quieter while you were gone. I'm glad the trip wasn't too terrible.

#337 Re: Chris On Screen » The Invisible » 23 Apr 07 :: 20:15

Found a Chris interview that I don't think we've seen before.

Yeah I could definitely help. All I have going on right now is preparation for final exams, and that's not taking up all of my time. We've got visitors today, but tonight I'll do some searching for you guys smile

#339 Re: Chris On Screen » The Invisible » 19 Apr 07 :: 03:22

Is Catch and Release the one with Jennifer Garner and Kevin Smith? I missed that while it was out over here, so I guess it will be a rental big_smile Glad you liked it.

So the next sacrifice will be me having to watch it dubbed. Which I'm actually not sure yet whether I really want to make that sacrifice. Guess I'll decide when the time is near.

By then we'll for sure be able to tell you if it's worth a dubbed viewing. Although would you prefer the movie be really terrible or really good in order to see it dubbed?
