And these are my other 2 spunky monkeys....its Muffin and Gizmo. Jake is doing so well right now its AWESOME. So happy he is ok. Still on a special diet but he is actually running around and wagging his tail and stuff now ![]()
I have so so so pleasantly surprised. He has pulled through fine!!! On some meds and has to be fed this special diet 3 times a day for a couple of days and then onto only soft foods, he is really skinny looking and tired the poor baby but he is ok!!! Such a tough and beautiful doggy! Oh I am so happy!
Thats my Jake! ![]()
Hehehe Breezer you will have to catch us up with anything you have been doing during your "trip" away hahahaha. I love the internet and mobile phones and such....how did I ever function without them??
Congrats on the job Deb ![]()
Dentists suck, TeeJay. My teeth arent all that fantastic either. I was actually told when I was younger that they would recommend that I get braces to fix my overbite, but then was told that it was probably the better option to break and reset my jaw. I was told by my parents that we werent made of money and that year I was told if i wanted my teeth fixed I wouldnt be able to visit Japan. Hahaha my teeth arent THAT bad and Japan was absolutely amazing!
On a much sadder note, My dog Jake was taken to the vet because he wasnt eating, constipated and not moving out of his bed and whimpering. He is 15 and getting old my little bubby puppy dog and has a heart murmor and has fits in the heat during summer. He has already had an x-ray and they have said that he doesnt have cancer but are unsure as to what is the cause of the problem other than his age. They have kept him overnight right now on an IV drip and hoping that he will right himself after the suppository or else they may have to operate. And being so old they are concerned about putting him under anesthetic. I have had this dog since I was 8 years old.....I am really really worried that he wont make it through this. But at the same time I understand that he is old and i dont want him to suffer.
The first season is by far the best. The second season they try to explain too much rather than focus on the characters. And the third season is actually quite ridiculous at times. Though I cant help but love the show. Max is so intense!!!
Oh I am just excited that its getting hotter here, bring on summer! I actually got sunburnt the other day while I ate my lunch in the park near the office. So exciting, just gotta head to the gym and get back to the bikini body. hahaha well a less scary version of what I have now anyways ![]()
I have seen alot of the show before, but I only really watched the first season....will be interesting to catch the finale of it all
Pretty sure we all have our fingers crossed for this project!
Haha thats just all kinds of coincidence. I just borrowed the Roswell set from a friend and watching it right now!!
Ohhhhh Good luck to everyone applying for jobs.
Have a good trip Breezer!!! Awesome news
Chat to you again once you are back *cuddles*
Ok I think I may have just agreed to a date without realizing it. HAHAHA yes I am that dopey. Irish guy John that I met on Friday night. It was that whole, when are you free? awesome we should catch up. After work tonight? great I will sms you later this arvo with the details. And then I got off the phone and was like wait...was that a date? I guess I will find out later tonight. I am utterly clueless when it comes to this stuff!
Swine flu really wasnt all that bad. I keep hearing about it and how terrible it is and all I can think is, Well I had it and I am ok. If you have had the flu before and been bed ridden with it for a few days...its was basically the same thing. Talking to others that have had it too though, it appears to be more dry than other flus and the headaches were the worst part about it. The cough tends to hang around a few days after but its nothing to panic about. *shrug* I was just glad that noone else in my family caught it.
Completely off topic...But how hot is an Irish accent!!:drool::drool::drool: Guy I met Friday night was Irish and PHWOAR! Its kinda bad though. Cos you are only half listening to what they are talking to you about and half absorbed by the accent. Oh well, it was hot!
Yeah, they arent testing for it in Australia anymore either...if it helps any I had it and I am alive and well. Though I think the Australian strain may have been a milder case. I was pretty much bed ridden for 3 days but other than that I got over it like you do any other flu. It didnt feel particularly worse than any other flu. I guess it was just easier to catch. Half the people in my office caught it and a bunch of friends at uni had it before I did and I think that is where I caught it. Everyone just seemed to be knocked out for abit but got over it. Only one person that I knew of had to be admitted to hospital with the swine flu, he got some fluids put back into him and he was sent home fine. I really hope you feel ok Maria. No matter what the disease is being sick is no fun!
So so soooooooooo awesome! Last night went and saw KissChasy with my brother. Such a good show and I was standing one person back from the front. The lead singer jumped down and was in the crowd so I got to stand right next to him and GAH! so awesome. I tried to get a photo but he was moving past too quickly. I did however manage to catch the drumstick that was thrown into the crowd at the end of the show. Oh it was amazing. So happy I went. I have posted a photo of the concert i took in the music thread.....

KissChasy, pretty much front row.....STOKED!
Thats amazing....
It is still very pretty Moon! You have a decent camera on your phone then. My phone photos are always very blurry, but then I have had this phone for over a year now so its not that bad. Makes me want the weather to get decent here again so I can go visit the beach. I love it. There is not much better than spending a long day at the beach lounging around, drinking beers (not really legal, but you wont get in trouble unless you are drunk causing issues), eating fish and chips, then swimming just as the sun goes down and the water is still warm. GAHHHHHH Come on summer hurry up!
I got a new acer this year. One of those mini ones. I wanted to have one so I could take it with me travelling next year and I got it cheap through a friend and I had the money then so i bought it. So far I am very happy with it. Though I have only had it for maybe 4 months
The Japanese above the "tagline" literally says "Biggu Baguzu Panniku" -- So I am assuming that they have changed the name of the movie from Infestation to Big Bugs Panic. In Japanese there are 3 different alphabets. When they want to say something from another language they use katakana. This is the easiest for me to read and understand, so I can read the title of the movie on the poster, but my Japanese isnt good enough to understand the writing at the top. Sorry guys!
Hahaha Deb, You are really loving these screen caps arent you....there is just so much of him on screen in this movie!
You will be missed here Breezy...hopefully it wont be long till you get a new computer and you will be online all the time ![]()
Thats amazing news!!! Congratulations ![]()
Chris likes Bon Iver?? Thats awesome. The only song I instantly recognize would be Skinny Love. Its quite nice to listen to. I havent read the Host yet....
Yeah I definitely heard about that story. It was at Ashburton station which was like 2 stations over from work. Scary situation, but luckily the same time of seeing the accident being shown we knew that the child was ok. Definitely a miracle. So about 10 mins from work and 20 mins from my home it happened. Just really glad to know that the child is ok. Could so easily have been horrible.
