Yeah, ignore lists are great. But the imdb boards are so full of idiots and morons that I just stay away from them completely.

#353 Re: Square Eyes » Amber Tamblyn » 18 Aug 11 :: 21:35

Maybe I should clarify that it's not the age thing that creeps me out, it's just the guy himself ... but then again, I'm sure Amber knows him a lot better than I do, so I won't judge their relationship. As long as she's happy, I'm happy for her, too.

They got engaged?  Wow.  It took me a while to get used to it, but she clearly loves the guy.  They've been together for ages and obviously it works.  It'd bother me if she was 16, but she's 28.  I trust her judgment on this one.  I have to.

I'm with Deb here. Although it REALLY creeps me out. Sorry, Amber.

Hibernation? Oh yeah. I wish I could just sleep from November to March. *sigh*

#356 Re: Square Eyes » All Things Michael Welch » 15 Aug 11 :: 17:43

Oh, okay. I didn't know that. I was just like "Ok, they release this big poster with Mike's name all over it and then the movie has a subline like that? HUH???" LOL

#357 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 15 Aug 11 :: 17:34

So, for now I've given up my plans of getting a dog of my own when I have a new job. It just depends if I can afford having a part-time-job. Because with a full-time-job keeping a dog can be complicated. So it's either a full-time-job and a cat or a part-time-job and a dog.

OK, my first reaction was that spontaneously agreed with Tina with WTF??? yikes and then I couldn't decide if it's because of his arm(s) that are just SO bulked up that I almost don't like it anymore (it's MIKE!!!) or because of the fact that Mike's name is the only one that's on the poster in big letters and the subline of the movie is "The Vampire's Daughter" ... uhm? :clueless:

By the way..how do you post pictures on here?

You click on "Post reply" and you'll get the full post menu including the smilies. There are also some of those clickable thingies (sorry, I don't know what to call it in English) that say B, I, U and more. If you click on the IMG one you'll get the image tags. Those are the ones you need to include a picture in your post.
It works like that:
[ img ] ---- remove the blank spaces in the tags and put url of picture in between ---- [ /img ]

I hope I could help you.

#362 Re: Chris On Screen » 10 Rules for Sleeping Around » 11 Aug 11 :: 22:17

The title already made me suspicious, and then I read the summary on imdb. "A screwball sex comedy"? Does that mean it's another Girl Next Door? Hmmmmh, not sure if I'd want to see that without Chris, but if Chris is really in this I'm gonna watch it of course.

Oh yeah, that's the other thing that's bothering me! I want to know his name too, and how much screentime he has. And by the dangers of repeating myself, I NEED to know if he has at least one little scene together with Steve.

#364 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 09 Aug 11 :: 21:52

In case you missed me in the last two days, I was very busy with doctor's and treatment appointments and spent most of the past two days on trains going from somewhere to somewhere else ... there was totally no time to come online.

#365 Re: Square Eyes » James Franco Appreciation Thread » 07 Aug 11 :: 20:57

I must be really blind, until now I never realized that I knew James from the Spidey movies. We have part 3 on TV right now. OH GOD!!! And when I watched 127 hours I was like "I know that guy, where do I know that guy from?" ARGH!!! LOL

#366 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 07 Aug 11 :: 20:54

Wow, Kate, chicken pox, that must SUCK!!! I'm kinda happy I already had them when I was three and hardly remember it.

#367 Re: Chris On Screen » The Double » 07 Aug 11 :: 20:51

For the moment I doubt it, but I hope for at least one more or less great scene with Stephen Moyer. My two most favorite actors in a movie together - they HAVE to have scenes together!!! They have to!!! I hope the movie will make it to my OV theatre.

#368 Re: Chris On Screen » The Double » 05 Aug 11 :: 12:22

Yeah, I thought about posting it here, but then again, it didn't mention Chris and I thought you were getting tired of my Stephen Moyer appreciation. LOL

#370 Re: Square Eyes » Post your recent DVD purchases » 02 Aug 11 :: 22:19

I should feel so ashamed of myself! I made the most impulsive purchase today ... but I just couldn't resist. *sigh* It said this was a limited first edition with four alternate covers ... :embarrassed:

IMG_1522.jpg

I got the feeling I might know what the other three covers would look like since I've seen pictures of the Target Special Editions ...

You have three guesses which one I chose tongue:

Thanks Deb for this link, I think that is the most hilarious website I have ever seen. :rofl:

I had a few good laughs here.
Electricity in Gynecology ... WTF???
How to disappear completely and never be found - Yeah, I should definitely read that one. LOL
How to Be Happy Though Married - Should I give that book to my brother who recently married? :devil:

Also, I wasn't aware that it is possible to understand women through their cats and that you can teach Physics to your dog. lol

But I think the weirdest book on that page is "A Lust for Window Sills". EXCUSE ME??? :rofl:

#373 Re: Square Eyes » In Praise of Chris's Colleagues » 28 Jul 11 :: 20:33

Maybe we should rename it to a more general title like "Stuff about/with Chris's Co-Stars" or "Co-Stars stuff". Just an idea.

#374 Re: Square Eyes » Peter Falk has died, and Jerry Lewis is gravely ill » 28 Jul 11 :: 20:29

Columbo was one of my childhood heroes! And now that I'm grown up, they die just one after the other. sad

I just noticed I never listened to the commentary. Looks like I know what I'm going to do next weekend.
