Sorry to hear that, Maria! I was always anxious about my cat when she was away for more than a day.
At the house that hosts my apartment we have a stray cat living in the backyard, btw. She is sooo cute! Pitch-black with yellow eyes. I don't see her often, but sometimes she comes out when I am about to enter the house and then I pet her a little and talk to her. For some odd reason she loves sniffing my backpack. lol

Actually one of the managers "lured" me into doing an extra shift last night ... and I was stupid enough to agree on it! LOL
But oh well, it's over now and I am officially on vacation! \o/
I've been at Amazon for nine months now, but sometimes it feels like forever and then there are times I feel like I only started yesterday. I am not travelling anywhere, but I'll use the free time to get my new apartment ready. There are still some things missing, mostly for the kitchen. And I LOVE my new livingroom!

I checked all the pics but couldn't find him anywhere. Or maybe I just wasn't sure if it's him. My eyes are stupid sometimes ...

What a cutie!
Looks like I have to post some pics of Lucky here soon!  big_smile

I'll go through my stuff on the weekend. Not sure if I have it.

#32 Re: Chris On Screen » Life During Wartime (STRONG LANGUAGE - ADULT CONTENT) » 30 Aug 13 :: 14:35

Maybe I should watch the movie again, I don't even remember if I understood the plot and that's not easy with Todd Solondz movies ...

#33 Re: Joan of Arcadia » Secret Service / Trial and Error » 30 Aug 13 :: 14:33

I watch it this episode to see them do great acting ... but it is definitely not my favorite plot. What I did once is watch "Jump" first, concentrating on the scene when Adam comes to Joan with his mom's letter (which touches my heart in a good way) and watch T&E right afterwards (which touches my heart too, but NOT in a good way, but the acting is still overwhelming) wondering "How did they get from that to THIS???"  yikes
I don't like the plot of the episode but I can't say often enough, the acting is great and I "love" seeing it.

night shifts are exhausting BUT only ONE MORE SHIFT and I'm finally ON VACATION!!!

#35 Re: Chris On Screen » Broken Horses » 24 Aug 13 :: 19:49

Is it seven already? Wow! But I know what you mean, I am so dying to see him in something new!

#36 Re: Square Eyes » TV Discussion Thread » 24 Aug 13 :: 19:45

I meant to check out that show anyway. Just remembered that. Thanks for the reminder!

#37 Re: The Bullhorn » (Semi-) Regular chat on Saturdays » 23 Aug 13 :: 22:01

If someone still wants to chat with me, I just created a new yahoo messenger account (my old one got deleted because of inactivity). It's domesticelefant, too. I like the idea to get in touch with you more again.

Ah, nice to see the autism movie is still in the making ... I am kinda psyched for that one.

#40 Re: Chris On Screen » American Gun » 23 Aug 13 :: 21:04

Haven't seen that one in quite a while ... if I can do a movie-a-thon during my vacation I'm going to include it.

#41 Re: Chris On Screen » The Unknown - Online Webisode » 23 Aug 13 :: 21:01

Wow, great caps. I wish I could see the video.

#42 Re: Square Eyes » Amber Tamblyn » 23 Aug 13 :: 20:59

Not sure if I'll watch her Two And A Half Men episodes. I really, really love Amber, but ... the show is getting crappier with every season, I never was really into it, just watched it out of boredom sometimes. She should have rather joined TBBT, that would be fun to see her there!

#43 Re: Chris On Screen » 10 Rules for Sleeping Around » 23 Aug 13 :: 20:54

OK, this is not my most favorite genre of film, but I was dying to see Chris is something new, so I'm gonna watch it (if I'll ever get the chance to). I'm loving his hair in this one!  wink

#44 Re: Square Eyes » TV Discussion Thread » 23 Aug 13 :: 20:48

I haven't checked out any new TV shows, as I can hardly keep up with my old ones. Well, except Game Of Thrones, which has totally taken over my life. Any tips what I could like?

#45 Re: Chris On Screen » Broken Horses » 23 Aug 13 :: 20:45

I guess that means he's the "simple-minded" brother or am I mixing this up with the autism movie? Oh God, shame on me I lost track of his movies ...

Me too. My vacation starts the week after next, but I'm not going anywhere. I hope to catch up with the internet, though. I know I've been MIA here since forever, but work keeps me so busy, all I wanna do when I get home is fall into my bed and sleep. And I can only do facebook from my phone.  sad

That's a beautiful picture, TeeJay, thanks for sharing.

That awkward moment when one of your new colleagues keeps calling you "Anna" and your real name is actually "Anne" and you just go like "OK, good, we'll stick with Anna." LOL

I have pet news, too. My brother and his wife got a puppy a few weeks back. It's a Labrador and he's called Lucky!
