I saw this movie and I actually enjoyed it. I didn't go for McDreamy though. Don't really think he's all that cute.
But the movie itself was great. Although I find the book to be a little better.
LOL!
I found a tutorial on how to do it so I'm hoping it won't be that hard.
And since the ANH-15 helmets are too expensive I thought I would try something else.
Well I got one part of the item I need for my helmet. Hopefully I can put it together somehow.

Hey that's awesome. My wife did the Endor/Ewok Village Leia and it turned out really nice. Good luck with the Commando one, that one's sweet.
That's cool. The Ewok Village is a nice outfit.
(me personally, I'm not a normal girl that wears dresses. If I were then I'd gladly do that one) But I love the commando one. Hopefully I can find the helmet off ebay or something.

Wow! So you are close! You must know Everett(Norvon) then? Are you SWJaggy on the TF.N Boards? I'm Hairlesswookie over there, lol.
Yeah, I know him! And yes I'm SWJaggy. Hairlesswookie, yeah the name sounds familiar.
Man this is somewhat odd. Of all places to meet even.
Fast forward to present time..I am currently a member of the 501st Legion, as well as an officer in our local Fan Force called Mos Alba.

Very cool! What costume/costumes are you submitting?
Mos Alba, you're kidding?! I'm the chapter just next door The Outer Rim. Small world isn't it!

^- I have a caption for that one:
Chris: Hey, you are not the boss of me! I'm stoned, not stupid.
Okay so I looked and didn't find a simple Star Wars thread so I thought I would start one up.
Okay so just a brief history of my life as a SW Fangirl:
-I was introduced to Star Wars when I was around 6 or 7 by my mom. We went to go rent movies and then I saw the covers to all three Star Wars movies (vhs; man I feel old.LOL!) My mom said they were good movies so I thought, 'okay why not'. When I rented them I watched them backwards from 6 to 5 to 4. Little did anyone know that when I was introduced to those movies, I would become a mondo-fied Star Wars geek. When the Trilogy set came out, went to Walmart and bought it.
-That same year, come Christmas time, my uncle [and his then girlfriend, now wife], bought me two action figures and Luke's skyhopper speeder.
That is the base for my becoming a collector.
And Return of the Jedi is my favorite out of all 6 films because a.) it's the first one I saw and b.) I just really enjoyed it.
As a Star Wars fan I have had many countless adventures along the way.
-Going spoiler crazy for episode 2 (Attack of the Clones)
-Avoiding spoilers for episode 3.
-Being at Target an hour before the store opened for the new ROTS line of Action Figures on April 2nd, 2005
-Getting the first copy of the ROTS novel at Barnes & Noble
And now I am the co-president of our local Star Wars Fan Force and we have shared some great Star Wars memories together. It's so fun to get with people and share a common interest. And simply talk for hours on end about it.
My next Star Wars goal: To join the Rebel Legion.
Found out the song for graduation. It's "It Ends Tonight" by The All American Rejects. Don't know who they are but I listened to the song and it's good and fitting.
I'm making a graduation cd as a gift for my friends. Anyone got any suggestions as to song choice?
Awesome pics!
What's the first thing your ever saw Chris in?
The Disney movie "Up, Up, & Away". He was funny in that one.
What's your favorite thing he's done so far?
His role of Adam Rove in Joan of Arcadia
What's your favorite scene in that movie/show?
Probably in the JoA episode "Friday Night" when Adam abandoned Joan at the hospital and then how later at the Girardi house, Joan got mad at Adam and how Adam said he couldn't just watch someone throw away their life after his mom died.
Who's your favorite Chris character and why?
Adam because he's someone I can relate to. He's a teenager and like most teenagers he's having to find his way and getting lost. And then just when he's given up, there are people who come to his rescue; who believe he has potential and those people help him succeed.
Do you remember the first time you Googled Chris? What site did you land on?
Don't really remember. It was probably around the time when I was introduced to JoA
What were you looking for when you found our website or how else did you stumble across it?
I came across it by a random search I think. I was searching for pics or video clips of JoA and was lead to the site.
What role in what movie --- any movie --- past, present or potential would you love to see Chris play?
I am so looking forward to the movie "Fanboys". Like Chris, I have had an interest in Star Wars since I was a kid. I look forward to seeing Chris in this movie 1.) because he has so much enthusiasm in doing it and 2.) because he's getting to play a role that he, [myself], and many other Star Wars get to live in real life. It's the bomb!
Seen any Chris movies in a theatre?
"Alpha Dog". Chris was great in it. He was hilarious as a stoner.
Own any Chris movies?
No but I definately plan on getting "Fanboys" in the future.
Have anything special recorded off TV?
No
What do you like most about Chris?
Other than his looks, it's that he's a Star Wars fan. It's great that we have something in common.
If you could ask Chris one question, what would you ask?
He's answered my question!
Do you have any of Chris's lines that you can quote off the top of your head?
Not quite there yet.
Have you met Chris in person? If so, tell us about it.
Never met Chris [yet...!]
If you could have him autograph one item or photo, what would you pick and why?
Probably the box from my Joan of Arcadia dvds. And also a Fanboys pic
What would you want to see Chris doing next out of these?
a) a very dark and suspenseful thriller
b) a sitcom
c) a quirky and/or romantic comedy
d) a horror movie
e) a drama TV show
f) an action movie
g) a dramatic movie
h) a medical or cop show
i) a theater play
j) something else entirely (if so, what?)
He's definately got a thing for comedy (so C), I could also picture him doing a drama tv show.
TeeJay, those are great!
Great pic of Shawn!
I found the pics on a 4400 website.
And yeah, it's too bad he won't be on the show anymore. I really loved his character (but then again, I love all things 4400!)
Here are some pics of Shawn from "The 4400".
This first one is from the season 3 episode, "Being Tom Baldwin".
These next two are from the season 3 episode, "Fifty-Fifty".
Perfect pic
That's a great pic. And awesome Blue Harvest sticker! It's hard not to notice. Especially if you know the meaning of the sticker (which now you all do thanks to Chynst).
So 22 weeks that doesn't seem so bad even though it is.
No I haven't listened to the interview yet but I will.
For now I will sort of be staying in Tx. As school is only an hour and a half drive. Which is good b/c I've got my family nearby, I've got my church, and youth group (which I'm not ready to let go of just yet) and I'll be even closer to the Star Wars fan club we have around here so it's all good.
quoted by Deb:
Deb: Okay, here's something from Ronnie from Texas. And I have to read the whole thing because it's kinda sweet.
Chris: Okay.
Deb: First off, I'm a huge fan of Adam Rove, it's sad that Joan of Arcadia isn't on anymore. That show helped change my life. Second, I'm a huge fan of Star Wars, so I really look forward to seeing your film Fanboys. You're definitely my hero for taking a role that many Star Wars fans would love to live in real life, the role of fanboy/fangirl, minus breaking into Star Wars, breaking into Skywalker Ranch. I have two questions for you. The first is, are you a Star Wars fan?
Chris: Uhm-hm.
Deb: And the second is, uh, what got you interested in doing the film?
Chris: Uh, being a Star Wars fan.
Deb: <chuckles>
Chris: Totally being a Star Wars fan. And then, uh, Jay Baruchel and Sam Huntington and Dan Fogler signing up. And Kristen Bell. As soon as I heard about the cast. Me and Sam were the last one to get cast, and so, uhm. Initially me and Sam read for both roles. Or at least I read for his role and mine and I think, I'm pretty positive he read for both roles, mine and his. And they came to us and they said, Hey, look, so we're gonna have you read one more time because we want both of you guys to do it, but we're just not sure which parts yet we want you guys to play. Uhm, and so, uh, so when I knew it was gonna be the both of us, no matter what was coming, cool. All right, I'm in. So... That, and I kinda dug, like, yeah, I just dug the story. It's cu— It's fun. You know, and I grew up watching Star Wars, so I was kinda like, Yeah, this is a cool movie to live out in my lifetime, so...
Deb: And it's got the range again.
I know I've been a way for a while. My life has just been a little hectic (and I've been spending more time with "The 4400".
Anyways, I just read the interview.
Deb: Thank you so, so, so much for asking Chris my question! My day has just gotten better. Found out I got accepted into college and then TeeJay informs of this and now I still can't believe it (the college thing and the fact that Chris answered my question). Again, thanks Deb!
My gift to you!
Happy Birthday!
Love the wallpapers. Especially love the one from "Romancing the Joan". Definately a funny episode with Joan always feeling invaded by God by her fantasies And then when Stevie comes into the dream, it's even more hilarious.
Someone over at fanforums made these. I've asked if they could make some of Chris, so we'll see.
Anyone watch GA last night?
It was good and everything but man I am getting tired of George's sissy routine of being mad at everyone. The guy has no backbone (he's been mad at Alex, he's been mad at Meridith, he's been mad at Christina, at Callie, and now Baley and the Chief).
Going to a high school that focuses on medical careers, I have no trouble watching the show surgeries because in the end those ones are fake and I've been lucky enough to see real ones!
