I think I like a little of both....I like the jeans and relaxed look but showing that they have put it SOME effort to make themselves look nice. But then if the situation is appropriate, I LOVE the black shirt with black suit look. Dunno why, but just WOW when the guy pulls off that look. WOW.

Hey if a guy is sexy he will be sexy regardless of if its suit or scruffy. I think I prefer the scruffy though because it means that its ok I am not all done up and dont feel out of place. Sexiness on a more real level. Relateable. Like what "Adam" did for hoodies. Although that being said wouldnt mind seeing Chris all suited up...

Haha I hope I never have to go through it again either! Feeling ok now, but still waiting for my liver to be back to normal sad Chicken pox attacked my organs! BOO!

Phil Hartman...wow that is VERY sweet and generous of him to take time to write that to his fan. I love hearing things like that. Makes me really admire him more. I was also really shocked when he passed, but I assume everyone was surprised.

Sadly though Hollywood does seem to produce things in batches...I would actually be surprised if it WASN'T a basic copy of those movies

#30 Re: Chris On Screen » 10 Rules for Sleeping Around » 12 Aug 11 :: 05:35

Maybe Chris is playing the role of Duncan, his 20 something best friend....noone else appears to be listed in that role

#31 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 08 Aug 11 :: 08:09

Hahaha yup at 25 I had all sorts coming in to inspect me every now and then seemingly out of curiosity. I didnt mind. Actually started to find it amusing. Well it was something like only 1 in 10 adults say they havent had chicken pox before and only 1 in 10 of those ACTUALLY havent. Most just have such a mild dose they never realise but then have the antibody to prove it. So yes.... I was one of the "lucky" ones. They also didnt know where to put me in the hospital. I came in emergency, was in the childrens ward for abit but then was moved to cardiac of all places and then moved to upper GI ward before leaving... But hey fingers crossed my blood test from today comes back ok (they were concerned my liver function was deteriorating and couldnt work out if it was all the medication I had been on, plus the surviving on a drip or whether the pox themselves had attacked me) anyway fingers crossed my test results come back ok and everyone leaves me alone for awhile.

Thanks everyone! On the mend now, just gotta wait it out and check ups on the way. But I would not wish that on anyone. Hahaha when you walk into emergency and they move out of your way so you are at the head of the line to check in, you know there must be SOMETHING obviously wrong with you.

#33 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 07 Aug 11 :: 06:00

Haha yeah it has been an epic month, but i figure bad things are supposed to come in threes right....fingers crossed I will start building that all important teacher immunity soon. Otherwise may need to look at a different career just for my health!

#34 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 06 Aug 11 :: 12:49

Its been a lovely 20C/68F past 3 winter days here, not that I have had the chance to enjoy it. This last month has been crazy. My immune system has hit rock bottom. I have had an inner ear infection that made my head feel like it was on fire from the inside...antibiotics, cleared up...then by the end of the week, tonsillitis...stronger antibiotics (because I had only just come off the other ones) cleared up...then by the end of the week, chicken pox. Never had it as a child, so very bad case. I even had then all through my throat, which meant that I couldnt swallow and was vomiting lots and having issues even breathing so went off to hospital. Only got out last night, so back home with my parents stuck in one room until Tuesday when the say I am not contagious anymore. After 6 days in hospital I want to be healthy already!!!!!! But yes, if anyone noticed I had been quiet this month, that is why. Right now I feel ok, little tired, little itchy but mostly bored!

Welcome welcome welcome....sorry for the delay!! I am usually on here alot more frequently but I have been having abit of a crazy time over here. From what I have read it seems like you are going to fit right in here. Almost surprised its taken so long for us to meet you!! Haha but glad to see you are such a fan of Chris. And I agree I would love to see him on a series again!

Its sad but not totally unexpected.... isn't there something to the age 27 and stars dying???

#38 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Birthday Thread » 19 Jul 11 :: 02:50

Happy Happy Happy Birthday smile

#39 Re: Off Topic Stuff » I hate people that claim they like the heat » 16 Jul 11 :: 08:25

Haha today is a perfect winter day here in Melbourne smile 59F, or 15C and sunny....nice enough to wear jeans and a t-shirt and a light cardy and walk up to the shops for lunch....sorry guys!

#40 Re: All About Chris » A Note From Chris! » 11 Jul 11 :: 08:35

Awesome to hear from him smile Hope he doesnt take to falling off the edge of the planet again!!!

#41 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Book Thread » 06 Jul 11 :: 11:31

Hahaha speaking of Girl with the Dragon Tattoo....I have finished it myself not too long ago and onto the second, Girl who played with Fire. Hope you enjoy the read. I thought it was excellent, but a little too much background at the start for my liking. Takes a while to get into the meaty part of the story

#42 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 05 Jul 11 :: 12:49

I have moved in with 2 housemates...I have been friends with both of them for many years so I hope this works out well. It has been good so far for the few days. They were already living here for 2 years with another housemate and I have taken her place now.

#43 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 04 Jul 11 :: 13:53

First real one....I have done an exchange to Japan for 2 months, moved in and house sat for 6 months, and then my round the world holiday which went for 11 months. So I have spent fair amount of time away from my parents home, but this is the first completely out

#44 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 03 Jul 11 :: 15:21

So, I have moved out of home this weekend. Rather exciting, till you are actually doing it. Packing and unpacking is terrible!! Still havent finished yet, but its good enough for now

#45 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 29 Jun 11 :: 03:28

Haha yup Deb, I did see it....didnt realise it was news worthy though. But yeah I had to drive through the fog. Its not the nicest to drive when you are relying on the red brake lights of the car in front of you to know whereabouts they are. But its moved off now. Quite sunny actually today. Especially considering its winter smile

#46 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 22 Jun 11 :: 14:21

So I had a pretty nasty cold going on....headaches and the blocked sinus with wheezing chest...yeah the whole fun time. Thought i was getting over it, but not quite. My body decided it was better to develop an ear infection after all the fluid that has been swimming around in my head. So I am now on the "big guns" (quote from the doctor) of antibiotics and painkillers to get rid of this pain once and for all. Frustrating part is because these drugs have been knocking me around today, even after all the flu stress and medications too...yeah I spend about 3 hours awake each day eating and then take another tablet and bed out of it again. So long as I am better soon I dont care, but it still would be nice to be back to normal!!

#47 Re: Square Eyes » Amber Tamblyn » 22 Jun 11 :: 14:15

Beatnik poetry? Maybe she is introducing the guy playing or something, he doesnt seem to be performing yet and the attention appears to be on her.....*shrug* its an odd photo to decipher without any more info

#48 Re: Introduce Yourself » Hello! » 21 Jun 11 :: 17:18

Haha yes, that would be me, the other Aussie one. Poor Chris is even less known here than the states I would say! Glad you got onto him though smile And yup visiting Deb last year was brilliant. You were such a fantastic hostess to me, and I still think so happily about my time in Atlanta.

I am in Melbourne, whereabouts are you in Oz?

#49 Re: Chris On Screen » Reality Check - New Project! » 20 Jun 11 :: 11:17

I also noticed she has done a scene with Anton Yelchin in New York, I Love You. One of those movies that just has a whole bunch of people with short snip it type stories thrown together and hoping they can use as many names as they can get. But the scene that these 2 had was great smile

#50 Re: Fanart » Wallpapers » 20 Jun 11 :: 11:08

Love them both!! But June just looks soooooo fantastic smile
